Great review. Straight talking and no hype. Motors do have a very large inrush current which you demonstrated. It’s clearly a well engineered and well thought out design.
Thank you! That’s what I’m aiming for somewhat unbiased (although I genuinely think EcoFlow are the best in the industry, hence why we’ve stuck with them for 18 months so I am biased) but I’m not trying to sell these things, if someone wants a power bank this is hopefully a useful real world video

Brilliant review/demo nice one.
Think EcoFlow very good, Got a delta mini that I take up and back too my workshop too power lights and charge tool batteries or use in the truck. Then top back up with solar and battery setup in our garage, work well like a mini portable grid system.
With this thought be excellent for powering tv, internet box, all that stuff ticking over with solar.

ECOFLOW DELTA 2 Max 2400Wh suggest solar charge input 500 watts. My solar panels produce 60 VDC/10 amps to the breaker box. Can I safely input from the solar breaker box two XT60 cables into the two solar charge in-ports? Enjoyed your video, appreciate your help.
Hi, so I used this calculator to work back the wattage of your panels / 60v x 10a = 600w www.rapidtables.com/calc/electric/watt-volt-amp-calculator.html - is that the total of your panels combined? EcoFlow state 1000w max so 500w per port so in theory yes by then halving that and inputting into each port you’d be good! It might be worth emailing EcoFlow for a 100% confirmation to cover yourself though!

It’s definitely an investment, the river range is a great place to start if you could utilise it
Can you plug wind turbine instead of solar panel?
Yes potentially as wind turbine's require an MPPT to plug into usually (which this has built in I believe)

How different is this to the older version?
It’s mostly down to battery technology - previous model would’ve lasted 800 cycles until down to 80% capacity whereas this will see 3000 (also this comes with a 5 year warranty & the old one was 2 years I believe!)
The old Delta 2 is now £800 and this is £1,000 more. If you were paying is it worth it?
It should have at least 300 watt output
