2:10 you dont necessarily need to go to mid, instead, chilling around your tower will be fine, if boss casts Circle and 2 chariot towers spawn you can just move up towards the boss to dodge the chariot towers (the aoes are pretty small). The key takeaway is that you don't always have to find a donut tower. If boss casts Holy instead, you can be on the left edge outside of the boss ring, if the left tower of the mid row is chariot, you can hug the wall and dodge it
@@aylaveen Yep, have and always been a GNB one trick and using PF (pain). Currently tackling P11S and I am scared shitless when the next P10S reclear is rolling around.
Very helpful video, I don't tank this fight on GNB but this was actually the very first video that I found that points out the Wicked Step safe spot very very clearly. Also the first time I have seen Waymarks for the 1 6 1 Silkspit spreads.
Mostly depends on the gear, now these days you can tripple weave and still get the rank 1, crit rng has taken over. Once you get the gear in the early weeks of savage, everyone can get that 99

are you only a gunbreaker main? This seems like it could be a very good series if you showed high parse runs and explained them in detail across all tanks. Although I'm a warrior main, this was an amazing video!
At this point in the tier, what you need for a 99 on P10 is to be ahead of other gunbreakers in gear, prioritize minimizing drift/proper NM over party buffs, crit Double Down and kill shortly after a 2 minute burst.
Right lol. It's only ff. Not dying, hitting buttons on cd and being bis is all that's required to be 99. Not rocket science 😂 Biggest thing is critting
I have never had issues doing my proper NM burst even when doing a normal opener. At 2.5 GCD you have just enough leeway to do your standard rotation just fine in-between getting knocked up in the air.
been a few weeks but this guide converts over to PLD relatively well, just face pull with fast blade instead of pulling with hardcast HS and you wont clip gcds during the first tower set (youll lose like half a gcd during the second set though), you can use DMHS during turrets to keep uptime, but youll need to shield lob once during the 4th turret, and the rest is pretty normal PLD stuff
I have a few questions. What's the point of using Rampart+camo for double tank buster? It's a magic based attack so you can't parry it and they both reduce damage so they won't stack and make a 30% reduced damage buff. Camo just seems better used on pillar stomp ince you have a chance at parrying that. Also for harrowing hell since superbolide is a pure immune wouldn't the damage you're not taking transfer to another player? at 7:58 the SCH dies to this.
1. camo isn't only parry, it also reduce damage taken by 10%. Reduce damage taken DOES stack with diminishing return (the more miti used, the less effective it became), and Rampart + Camo has the same CD of 90s and it aligns perfectly for the stack buster. If you use Nebula, it won't be up in time. 2. Damage doesn't work that way, if you're pure immune, the damage is not diverted. it's still taken by you but mitigated 100%. The SCH dies to 25k damage- which he shouldn't. As this is because he received no healing between the hits. (you can check the logs here: www.fflogs.com/reports/gLXaJtFmnPHkbwD2#fight=10&type=deaths&death=3 )
I'm still using 2.50, but considering to try out on later weeks for 2.40/2.41 just to see how it performs on fights like this or P9S. In theory it should be pretty good for downtime situations, but need to try it out.

I really appreciate your guides! Your GNB series helped me optimise so much of what I was doing during Abyssos.
glad it helps! are you raiding this tier?

true, that's why it's not the purpose of the vid.
that's the the game ain't it. Even with equal gear there's only so much a class can do since the game is so lenient now ;p

How to be 99 anything in p10s:
1) get p12s weapon and most of your savage pieces
2) don't die
3) you got 99

I do not believe you can parry the multi hit tankbuster, so using camo is useless on it. use it for towers instead since you can parry the phys dmg
on top of parry, camo reduces damage taken 10%. The purpose of it on multi hit TB is because the 90s CD allows it to be up again for the next one.

keen edge > brutal shell > solid barrel > NM>gnashing fang + bloodfest> sonic> doubledown ~ and so forth
