Io non capisco coloro che hanno messo pollice verso, qui Pavarotti è in perfetta sintonia con una delle parti musicali più belle e toccanti che si possano ascoltare nelle opere liriche, Puccini compone una musica straordinaria e struggente che il cast dei cantanti interpreta in maniera straordinaria....

Just feel sorry for those others who don't know this work of pure genius. My favorite tenor, Pavarotti (and, whenever he sang with Mirella Freni, ahhhh.). Zubin Mehta conducted a production called "Turandot in the Forbidden City". We have it on DVD. A wonderful production. Sergei Larin sang the part of Prince Calaf. WOW!

guido greco Corelli was not a dramatic tenor. Pavarotti was successful with the role when he sang it, but didn't sing it more times because it did hurt his voice.
Mi scuso su CORELLI tenore SPINTO con tendenza al Drammatico.Resta il fatto che Pavarotti nel ruolo di Calaf ha dato pochissime rappresentazioni.Il grande Luciano è stato un grandissimo RODOLFO in Boheme,bravissino in ELISIR D'amore e superbo nel Duca di Mantova Rigoletto.
