I didn't know of Father Mark Beard, or His Homilies. Since his tragic passing - His Name, His Words are something My heart cannot get enough of. I have listened to MANY of His Homilies now via You Tube. Father Mark is gone from this world Physically BUT Spiritual Father Mark Lives On !! Praise God !
Same here. I watched my very first TH-cam video of him and was totally BLOWN AWAY!! The Holy Spirit used Father's words and enthusiasm to set my heart on FIRE!! I remember hoping that there would be a lot more of his preaching to see via his videos. BUT! The very next one that appeared as I scrolled down was about him being killed in a car accident. I couldn't believe it. That only made me more determined to see what God had led me to which was being reflected and transmitted so spectacularly by Father Mark. It is like a new "personal Pentecost" for me and Father is still at work even though he's no longer physically present. The most AMAZING thing that I've noticed while scrolling through many, many comments from people across the Globe, no less, is that they had ALSO seen him on video for the FIRST TIME just before he died. That is NOT a coincidence, I'm SURE!! I believe that Father Mark will continue to SET HEARTS ON FIRE for God, perhaps with even greater results! Praise be to God!! 🙏💞

July 31, 2023, was the first time I heard of Fr. Mark Beard. Late that evening, as I usually do, I began listening to my favorite priests: Fr. Don Calloway, Fr. Chris Alar, Fr. Jim Blount, Bishop Fulton Sheen, and the list goes on. All of a sudden, I hear a new guy, Fr. Beard. The homily was from July 30, 2023. It was LITERALLY GRIPPING AT MY SOUL! SUCH PASSION, SUCH DEVOTION, SUCH LOVE FOR CHRIST IN EVERY BREATH. That very night, I couldn't get enough of his fire, and I watched until about 3:00 am. I heard his parishioners clapping! When has this happened in most churches, and i would say 3 out of 4 of his messages had the pews cheering!!! I was immediately drawn to his soul! The next day, I had his homilies playing in the background while I worked. Every minute, knowing I now had to pilgrimage to Louisiana, if only to sit in one Mass. On the 2nd of August, I was hunting for the first homily I had heard so I could send it to one of my best friends. I had planned to ask her when we could get on the road, only to find the announcement of his death. My soul grieves! DEAR GOD, NOT THIS PRIEST!!! WE NEED HIM!!! How refreshing to hear a Catholic priest say what needs said, regardless of the consequences! I pray for Fr. Mark's soul, as he asked us to do, but honestly, I think God has him in a very special place. It's definitely not a coincidence that so many people have said they recently "stumbled" onto Fr. Beard, and so many after he passed. God's timing is perfect. I am forwarding his homilies to everyone I know, constantly. He helped me start to get off the fence post: you know, the one the devil owns. Thank you, God, for sending us this Saint to follow in our day! My prayers for your grieving parish, and especially his sweet mother and family from Peoria, Illinois.
I am certain Father Beard is as passionate about the salvation of our soul in heaven as he was here on earth. We are in so much need of honest, prayerful, faith-filled, unafraid priests to tell us of the dangerous, evil times we are presently facing. Our Catholic faith and it’s teachings are being persecuted, the Church is being attacked, and the silence from many of the clergy and the faithful is no longer acceptable. May Father Beard rest in peace and May he continue to pray for us.

Because of Father Mark Beard’s beautiful homilies and masses, I finally after 37 yrs. went to confession, to rebuild on my faith to Our Blessed Jesus and Mary! I was hoping that one day I’d be able to actually get the chance to personally thank him for pushing back off that fence to go forward, not back. But God needs him more than we do I believe. I never heard of Fr. Mark Beard until after his death. I love how he spoke of Purgatory - my favorite devotion! To that end, I have arranged to have him included in a monthly Requiem Mass in perpetuity. I guess he will have to sing 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall to someone else, although I would welcome the chance to meet him in person!
How I wish I could have attened one of his masses..I just to catch the pod cast the day of Father's passing. I love his homlies. I hope one day you can repeat some of his masses. I pray for all the💔 left behind , He saved many souls💚☘ Northeast PA.

I listened to fr. Mark preach for the first time one week before he passed. I could not believe my ears, he spoke with such conviction and zeal, you would have thought he was a baptist minister! My husband and I were so impressed with him that we were going to drive from MI. just to see him preach in person. Then we heard the news that he died in an accident. My heart broke that day. Thank you for this video, he will be missed. However, make sure we pray for him, because he said he will haunt us for 100 years if we dont pray for him in purgatory.😇❤️🔥🙏

I recently stumbeled across Fr Beard on you tube, and it might have.been the day he died. I listened to his sermon, and i said to myself.."wow-this is a real Priest" and i shared the video with a.Catholic friend. Then i read the news of his death, and was veey saddened. I have continued to listen to Fr Beards sermons..at least 2 per.day, since i found him, and i will continue to do the same every day. Fr. Beard's death has really affected me. I only followed him weekly for his Sunday homilies. A truly wonderful holy priest. A great loss for all especially his parish.. Even without having ever met Fr Mark Beard or heard of him until his tragic passing, I’ve listened to so many of his powerful and inspiring homilies and known a connection to Fr Mark that cannot be explained in words. I just pray for his soul and know Our Blessed Mother is surely by his side as She would be for all her beloved priest sons. And I somehow feel the prayer from my heart for his soul, as well as to ask him to pray for us, even those of us who never met him but know him now. I did not know Father Mark Beard. I happened to come across his last homely of which deeply touched my heart soul. I am deeply saddened by his passing. I have been watching all of his homilies and praying for him. He was most definitely a special priest on fire for God and all of our souls. God must of needed him home to do greater things. Let's keep praying for him in case he is in Purgatory still. We should never feel certain that a holy person is already in heaven. And he asked us specifically to pray for him after he dies, to get him put of Purgatory soon!

Beard, and so many after he passed. God's timing is perfect. I am forwarding his homilies to everyone I know, constantly. He helped me start to get off the fence post: you know, the one the devil owns. Thank you, God, for sending us this Saint to follow in our day! I am certain Father Beard is as passionate about the salvation of our soul in heaven as he was here on earth. We are in so much need of honest, prayerful, faith-filled, unafraid priests to tell us of the dangerous, evil times we are presently facing. Our Catholic faith and it’s teachings are being persecuted, the Church is being attacked, and the silence from many of the clergy and the faithful is no longer acceptable. May Father Beard rest in peace and May he continue to pray for us.

I was hoping that one day I’d be able to actually get the chance to personally thank him for pushing back off that fence to go forward, not back. But God needs him more than we do I believe. I never heard of Fr. Mark Beard until after his death. I love how he spoke of Purgatory - my favorite devotion! To that end, I have arranged to have him included in a monthly Requiem Mass in perpetuity. I guess he will have to sing 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall to someone else, although I would welcome the chance to meet him in person!
How I wish I could have attened one of his masses..I just to catch the pod cast the day of Father's passing. I love his homlies. I hope one day you can repeat some of his masses.

I listened to fr. Mark preach for the first time one week before he passed. I could not believe my ears, he spoke with such conviction and zeal, you would have thought he was a baptist minister! My husband and I were so impressed with him that we were going to drive from MI. just to see him preach in person. Then we heard the news that he died in an accident. My heart broke that day. Thank you for this video, he will be missed. However, make sure we pray for him, because he said he will haunt us for 100 years if we dont pray for him in purgatory.😇❤️🔥🙏

I recently stumbeled across Fr Beard on you tube, and it might have.been the day he died. I listened to his sermon, and i said to myself.."wow-this is a real Priest" and i shared the video with a.Catholic friend.
Then i read the news of his death, and was veey saddened.
I have continued to listen to Fr Beards sermons..at least 2 per.day, since i found him, and i will continue to do the same every day.

Like many I never heard of Fr Mark Beard until after his passing. He’s was a dynamic Catholic priest …so powerful and strong in his love and faith. I am listening to his homilies to take in as much as I can. Fr Mark will be even more impactful in his death. I will pray everyday for him and pray he prays for us. Fr. Beard's death has really affected me. I only followed him weekly for his Sunday homilies. A truly wonderful holy priest. A great loss for all especially his parish.. Even without having ever met Fr Mark Beard or heard of him until his tragic passing, I’ve listened to so many of his powerful and inspiring homilies and known a connection to Fr Mark that cannot be explained in words. I just pray for his soul and know Our Blessed Mother is surely by his side as She would be for all her beloved priest sons. And I somehow feel the prayer from my heart for his soul, as well as to ask him to pray for us, even those of us who never met him but know him now. I did not know Father Mark Beard. I happened to come across his last homely of which deeply touched my heart soul. I am deeply saddened by his passing. I have been watching all of his homilies and praying for him. He was most definitely a special priest on fire for God and all of our souls. God must of needed him home to do greater things.
