Love the model, and all your work Ive seen so far. The detail is on another level. I'm not a fan of figures on models though. I don't know about WWI but submariners are usually ghostly pale, and Germans of any period. Also the green of the uniforms clash with the sub, maybe some gray added to the color would be better but that's just my unqualified opinion. That being said, Im a huge fan of your aircraft models!
Thank you all for your feedback. I built this submarine in several stages and I really don't know how many hours it took. I estimate 170-200 hours of work.
@DetailsScaleModels I'm fairly new to model building, and it helps knowing how long it takes people when building their models. It helps with the frustration.
There are models I have been building for several years. When I get stuck on something, I put the model aside and come back to it over time. In the meantime, I'll build another model...
Fantastic with applied details its a wonder that the manufacturer doesn't send new kits for you to detail for there instructions and maybe a step by step Aftermarket procedure booket that way its a win win for all the modeller and the producers and you Josef 😊 fist bump 🤜🤛🗯💥😂 oh yeah meal time 🍔🍟🥤😂
На корпусе подтёки ржавчины из шпигатов, не нужно было наносить под углом. Это же не самолёт😅 В реальности на лодках, всё стекает вниз под прямым углом! Кроме этого момента, работа шикарная!!
Yeah, I hear you on Revell's submarine models being pretty big. The 1/72 Type IX-C, which I've built, is over a meter and a half long. A Type II Uboat is much more manageable.
I'm not easily impressed, but this is absolutely jaw dropping. Just waauuu!
These are obviously sailors before the mission. They got some sun and are nice and tan! Joking aside: and again a great model!
Wonderful subject. Best modeler I’ve ever seen. Hat’s off to you!
Wow! What a skilled craftsman
Maravilhoso, uma obra de arte.
Aqui no Brasil não acho bessa escala só em 1/144.
That build was superb in every way. The attention to detail is phenomenal. Well done Josef
Beautiful detail and weathering, very fine U Boat.
Like your submarine model...?!?
Your video is an education! I have never seen that much detail! Your technique is brilliant...hope to see more...
Nicely done
Fantastic build and a few very neat tricks like the stretched Q-tip that ends up as a small tube. Thanks for sharing!

A wonderful toothy fish turned out!!!
Congratulations! Very nice model!!!
Beautiful build
Gorgeous model! The weathering is perfect IMO.
Hi Josef. Most excellent work.
Další parádní práce. Tomu říkám škola modeláření. Díky za sdílení. Budu se těšit na další kousek 😎👌
Great job Josef ! The boat and the crew look great. Excellent painting. Cheers !
Amazing thanks for putting the time and effort to sharing!!!
Great job, congratulations.
STUNNING !
Superb job Josef, I think you are one of the best around here. Would love to see some modern fighter in one of your next project
Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm working on that right now... He is not a fighter, but a supersonic bomber...
very good yes, well weathered
Great finish. Lovely looking model 👌
Superb job, beautifully done!
Fantastic model, you make it look easy.

Hi fantastic model may I ask where U got the bottom and the base ...what are the screws called thank you for your help
Thank you all for your feedback. I made the stand myself from a piece of wood. I made the screws on a lathe out of brass.
@@DetailsScaleModels ah fair play your very talented
Hi Josef, that turned out a absolutely superb stunner of a kit, what is coming up for part three? Again mate well done, best regards from Australia.
American Spitfire???
❤️❤️❤️
It was a training submarine, then they went ahead and used them in combat, it was replaced by the type XXIII COASTAL SUBMARINE
💥👍
👍
Sick

Mega Arbeit. Leider sind die Besatzungsmitglieder in der falschen Farbgebung bemalt.
music really pulls you in. sigh
Very poorly done. Submarines didn’t and still don’t streak and rust below the waterline.
