I didn't know Revell was still in business. Sixty or more years ago, when I wasbetween 11 and my ealy teens., there were two big model makers in the US. Revell and Monogram. Revell was the company my friends and I chose. The last one I made was of the Borax twenty mule team with wagons. It was perfect.
I had put it in a place I thought was safe, then I came home from school one day soon after finishing it and I couldn't find it. I asked my mother where it was and she said she accidently knocked it onto the floor , it broke, and she threw it out. Years went by and when I was in my late sixties, while dealing with anger issues that dated back to childhood I realized she had lied to me about what happened. She threw it out because she didn't like where I had put the model.

Allerdings hat sich ein klitzekleiner "Fehler" eingeschlichen...
U-995 führte das "Fang den Hut" Symbol auf der Vorderseite des Turms. Das "Wikingerboot" war das Wappen der 13. Flottille in Drontheim (zu der das Boot gehörte) dieses Wappen war aber nicht auf U-995 zu finden. Sechs andere Boote führten es am Turm.
U-293, 302, 307, 312, 362 und 965. (Das aber nur nebenbei 🤣)
Es schmälert die Qualität deiner Arbeit um keinen Deut.
Ich bin absolut begeistert, von mir ganz klar ein Daumen hoch dafür 👍🏼 Vielen Dank fürs teilen 🙏🏼

OMG those photo-etch parts and brass would drive me insane, I built it without using the upgrade parts or wooden deck, but I'm satisfied with model, just happy to build a type VII in 1:72 scale

My advice to all my fellow modelers is to buy yourself a cordless screw driver with a miniature drill bit chuck. It's far easier to open multiple holes. 👍💯

Die Arbeit und das Ergebnis sind top.Das Modell kann sich sehen lassen .Ich habe eine Frage zu den verwendeten Farben.Welche Marke(n)hast Du für die Lackierung und die Alterung benutzt?Du zeigst dies zwar,aber ist manchmal nicht gut zu lesen bzw. es geht sehr schnell.Ich danke die schon mal für die Antworten.Ich habe vor Kurzem dasselbe Modell erworben und der Bau soll bald starten.Danke für die zahlreichen Anregungen und Tipps im Video.

Ok, only 1 min in, but the music stucks and the first thing you demonstrated was the model was not made properly, resulting in the need to drill out holes.
what do you want, it´s Revell and not Tamiya or Hasegawa...these are perfect. For me it´s a bit boring to see someone building a model according to plan to get dusty. I made the same model (Revells 1:72 VIIC) as a static diving RC (with the special parts set from Norbert Brüggen) - it´s more fun and challenge.

Are my eyes going bad? It looks like a 1/48 scale instead of 1/72.
1/48 would be about a meter and a half, this model is around 90cm. It does look pretty big though, but I believe that's mostly down to the fact that 1/72 models are usually pretty tiny and uboats were just so massive.
Top Bausatz und mega Ergebnis! Weiter so! leider stört mich die komische Musik etwas...passt finde ich überhaupt nicht dazu...ist halt nun mal Geschmackssache :)
Die Musik ist bei vielen Modellbau/-bahn Videos ein Schwachpunkt...
Weniger ist oft mehr...

Why do videos that lack narration always seem to have weird background music??? Do the producers of these videos have their young children pick the music out? it sure sounds like it.
Maybe, BUT you can always mute the video. Beautiful model making skills.
Würde auch ohne die nervige Musik perfekt funktionieren und die Flagge bei 20:02 ist ein bisschen zu detailliert.
Da kann man ja noch mit einem Wash drüber.
Il est pas 1/35 ton sous marin la il me semble déjà bien grand sur la boîte faisait écrit 1/72.mais bon c toi qui sais hein.

@@yvanmorazzini621 il mesurait 67metres en réalité , donc ça donne 93cm en échelle 1/72 ce qui correspond à la vidéo.
