The Scott Street Victorian Terrace: what about building a structure on the courtyard that creates a rooftop garden? I don't know which of the first floor rooms would access it, but if allowed by building codes, I think it would be a solution that could only pay dividends in future.
The more I saw that open plan house the less I liked it. No privacy for the master bedroom. The problem with the other contender was the lack of parking. I'm glad she kept looking and found something better.
the price of remodeling etc seems very reasonable on these shows- is it because of all the tradesspeople from the european union who moved to the uk and after brexit have moved out?? wonder about the prices now in the 2000 where are?the plumbers/the carpenters etc- all gone! I rrcall before uk was in the ru- there were no plumbers available for ypward of years - whartis cooking now?
What I don't understand is that she said she would be willing to pay $300,000 for the right house. She finds the right house then makes a stupid offer of $280,000 and acts disappointed when it is not accepted. If she loved it as much as she said she did then why didn't she make a more realistic offer? It isn't as if she didn't have the money.
Because her $300,000 budget was contingent on investment opportunities like having a granny flat. That house was brand-new and likely wouldn’t have much capital gain in the next few years.
I guess dividing a video in two parts is meant to rake in more pounds, but... More annoying than that? For instance, I happen to find this Part 2, fine, but WHERE is Part1? Am I going to waste my time looking for it? Perhaps, but this waste of time does come with a lot of resentment. I don't believe ANYBODY will think that was a good idea... 😆
