That broken robotic arm, is part of the Autophage mission, in which you unlock a new race in the character customization called Autophage . When you trigger the mission you will then come back to these broken robot arm and the dialog will be different and lead to somewhere.
@@GamerHobo Yeppers. I was gonna say the same thing but saw this first. My favorite exocraft is the Minotaur. I think it's actually the fastest because of it's long jumps. When hunting for downed ships, I use the Nautilus. You never get a downed ship with a needy pilot underwater.
@GamerHobo I us the colossas for storage. It is huge, cumbersome and slow. Each of the ECs have their strengths and NMS is constantly improving and growing. It's very different from the game that was first released. Ship hunting is still a very good way to make money and to salvage items for you ships, even parts to build a custom ship.
You can get companions, but they don't really do anything besides hang out. I forget to put mine out though lol. Oh and I'll be getting a Minotaur exo-craft soon. It's a mech suit that you can pilot, but you can also turn on it's AI to guard you and carry stuff. So, yeah, guess that is a thing.
@@keiyangoshin3650 they are animals and some robotic creatures. None talk, but I think they make noises. So, yeah, mainly just to hang out. I can talk to the crew of my freighter and frigates though.
@ what not fair for me it load really fast on my Nvme but it’s just the save part that crashes and don’t even get me started but doing the expeditions mission where I have to do the derelict ship also crashes

Anyone else having issues with no man’s sky where the games auto saves but takes unusually longer to save but ends up crashing on pc?
Not me. Game has been taking longer than usual to load when teleporting and warping.
