I honestly think Jack is a virtuoso. Just the ways that he layers his music and varies his voice in rhythm with his artwork, there really isn’t anybody like him doing music and animations like he does. I truly can’t get enough of his work.❤
He's like everything I love about Mark Mothersbaugh and Danny Elfman
While they are purely a musician and not a animator I would suggest Will Wood
bo en
What is a virtuoso
@@TarrareyoutubeOF just a fancy word for someone who’s highly skilled at music lol
There's something satisfying and delightful about the creepiness of the worlds he creates for his songs, it's weird but you just can't look away
I went to high school with Jack Stauber. Still crazy to see that he’s blown up to this extent
whoa?? that’s kind of awesome
figgy
WAIT-
What was he like? He seems pretty cool
liar
My daughter, who is less than 2 months shy of turning 8, is even obsessed with Opal. Her and I are constantly singing the little jingles, because they’re constantly stuck in our heads. We’ll also talk like Opal’s dream dad and grandpa by sticking our tongues out like they do when they speak lol.
It’s the little things I cherish the most. ♥️
I am not going to be rude but honestly thats creepy.
But as long as you and your daughter are happy :D god bless
Thats so cute. My little cousin likes jack stauber a lot too. It's something about him that really captures everyone no matter the age.

Opal? Really? THAT short?
About child neglect and abuse?
I love Jack Staubers work because most of the time it’s free for people to interpret anyway they like. Also the animation bit was really cool.
Who remembers 2 years ago in 'The disterbing media iceburg' when he couldn't understand the meaning of Jack's work, now he has a better understanding then most of Jack Stuabers fans. Also great video, i hope you continue to make work like this.❤
Yooooo, I was going through some old comments and saw this. What a THROWBACK LOL.
Yeah it is crazy how much I brushed off his work back then, definitely taught me that I should try to understand any "new thing" I see because I might be missing out on somethign great.
Honestly have yall (the viewers) to thank for that, if I never saw all those comments about my take on jack's work, I would've never changed my mind
For a few years now, Jack has been my favorite solo artist/musician. Something about him and his work is so captivating, and there’s always something that someone will find enjoyable or relatable. Like you said, a lot of his work/songs has gotten me through hard times, whether it being goofy and making me happy, or being more mellow and sad, bringing me some comfort and relating to it. His work is something Ive been inspired by, and something no one else can really recreate. And i just love what he does
My favorite song from Jack is Coffee, it makes me think that it's what my dad hears whenever he sees alcohol, so it makes me feel ever so close to understanding him more
he is, without a doubt in my mind, a master of his craft. he wants to convey something, a feeling or a thought or an experience, and he knows exactly how to do it by being able to disguise it in something, like a song, and no one would bat an eye. you hear the rhythm, the fun loud sound, and even if you don't understand the lyrics or exactly what they mean, it makes you feel something. Jack is trying to evoke a certain kind of feeling through his lyrics and sound and visuals and he knows exactly how to do it to make it as strange, sometimes haunting or uncanny, as possible. he knows how to grasp your attention and keep it without getting lost. he can tell a story in two minutes, convey a complex emotion with his strange lyrics that outwardly don't make much sense. when you come across him, browsing or through vitality of one of his songs, you'll never be able to get him out of your head. ive noticed that he's not on socials much either, which isn't exactly strange as he likely wants to stay a private person; but his anonymity and the way he navigates the internet so sparsely only seems to add the curiosity surrounding him. Jack Stauber is a strange man, but what he does is phenomenal, and how he does it is always executed perfectly. when you fall down his rabbit hole, you'll never quite make it out.
i also love the juxtaposition of lyrics to upbeat music, like he is hiding how much trauma his words speak to. its deceiving. i really love that, you have to analyze him as a person to see beyond the lyrics as they are presented.
Been listening to jack for awhile and I think people who only know like one popular song of his don’t really understand the variety he has in his songs. There is something to gain for everyone from his music.
I was introduced to Jack's work by an online friend a few years ago when I was still pretty young and I just remember taking comfort in the fact that someone else had the same strange taste as me
jack stauber has to honestly be one of my favourite celebrities. he seems genuinely down to earth and like he does these projects for enjoyment, not money
Its awesome to see that people are still making jack stauber videos even though he's gone right now. Thanks man
I'm really glad you made this video, I always love when someone appreciates Jack and I feel as though you gave the proper thought and care to analyzing everything that makes his music masterful!
They just read as sad and empty to me. Like depression and anxiety given form. Like things suck, and they won’t ever get better.
Long term tomato loss can’t be reversed.
Lemon demon reference spotted
Bro this is the best video I’ve seen all year. I love how you broke down databend. I’ve listened to Hilo probably every two weeks for a year and I’m glad you showed me something new about it, keep doing what you do!
Jack Stauber is one of my favourite artists, he is so creative, not just with songs, but with how he represents it and pulls in the attention. Very clever guy. Been looking forward to this video!
I now have an even better explanation as to why I love Jack Stauber’s creations so much
The guy in the rain is one of the most vibe vids on the internet
I used to make houses on MS Paint while waiting for someone to get off the phone so I could go back online 😂
😐
Yeah, jacks videos are a bit creepy and disturbing but it has a reason to it. I love his songs
I love your videos this just made my whole day
Thanks, comments like this are making my day too
Very happy you made this, thanks!
I love him. His artstyle is so beautiful and comforting
Been looking forward to this video, thanks man!
You: Explain thoroughly about Jack Stauber
Me: vibe out at any single moment when Jacks's music is playing
i discovered him almost 2 years ago but gosh i remember how disturbing, nostalgic, hilarious and awesome his art was all at the same time :,)
im kinda out of my stauber phase rn but seeing his work getting recognition makes me wanna go back to that times where i wouldve spent my days with weirdcore and his stuff.
I honestly like this videos of when you do your theory for Jack Staubers
Musical genius for sure. So grateful for this video and to exist in the same timeline as jack stauber ❤
Your video’s are always amazing 💜
Thanks for the kind words!
🤔
I feel like jack has seen a glimpse of hell and is trying to warn us about it.
Great video man! You really nailed it on the value of MS Paint, Jack twists flaws into virtues and incorporates them aesthetically, and makes it look so effortless.. Basically the definition of style
wonderful video! jack is a creative genius and i'm hopelessly obsessed with his work.
This video was everything I wanted, love u for it, thank you.
something glitched and the entirety of opal played. thought it was a weird joke at first. still a bit bamboozled by how that happened but it’s just some normal stauber shenanigans ig
my fav songs from Jack stauber is Hamantha, Oh klahoma and Fighter:3
i love this video, made me feel home
I absolutely love his songs and also I feel like he should come back.
This is such a cool look on his music!!
Damn after that awesome video im definitely bricked up😅 thank you!
Imagine what would happen if Wham City Comedy and Jack joined forces. The perfect combo of two horror comedy confusing artists
Yay new video :D (also I found most of the vid trippy)
Incredible!
Put a lot of work into this one
This first song (I’m in the middle of the video) hit me like a slap in the face, I haven’t listened to his music for a while but I love it. The sad thing is I went through that during middle school. I data bended. And it sucks 0/10 wouldn’t recommend because it really fucks with ur mental health. It also didn’t help that my old friend group was pretty judgmental and rude and treated me like a wall and used me for dumping problems onto.
I remember I was intrigued by opal. I was really creeped out by the voices and animations so I got my best friend to watch with me. We went through the comments and learned about the story that was being told. I randomly say “we see you, opal.” When I feel like I don’t matter. Although opal can only imagine them saying “we see you” rather than “we love you” I find strength in “we see you” despite what everyone says.
Jack Stauber is someone that really makes me interested into these kinds of songs.
Nice vid man
thanks :)
Btw the song fighter is pretty fire :)
I always try to find new stauber songs that I haven't heard before a lot
Fighter is a mood lol and Ms Led, Windrag, and Vanilla are some of my calm favorites
for some of my other favorites, Ballad of Hamantha, Cheeseburger family (it has a whole new meaning after watching the video essay on opal :0) John & Nancy, Dog nightmare and many others lol
I love ur videos :) 🌼
Appreciate the kind words. Glad to see everyone enjoying my stuff!
interesting will check him out!!!
jack always made me feel
Why does your video on Opal have soo many views and this one so few? You’re doing a good job. I would very much enjoy a full SHOP video.
W video Theorist!👍✨️❤️
most of jack staubers songs are about his depression and his wifes death.
and every song he has made has something to do with his life. baby hotline was about his wife, she called the suicide hotline and they said “give us one moment” and then she shot.. you know what I mean
"nothing in, prize out" punches me in the chest, i love databend.
Idk about you theorist but i love jack stauper in fact watch shop a pop opera by adult swin i think youll like it since he made it by the way keep up the good work dude
The grin on my face when i saw you uploaded my comfort channel😭
Kinda surprised he didn’t even mention baby hotline. Super hype beat, super depressing lyrics. Absolute masterpiece
Safe socks, Databend, Coconut Ranger, Pizza boy, and I love you Verne Troyer 🔛🔝🗣️‼️‼️‼️
i
If anyone is wondering, the first song played is "Jack and Nancy"

Nice video
Thinking about a Stauber leg piece. Starting with opal
Your video's seem to be so interesting!
I hope you like it!
for real like all of his songs are fabulous
Jack Stauber truely is a musical genius
Rain.
Jack es el mejor
Can someone please tell me the name of the song that starts at 0:53?
Never mind, found it. It's John and Nancy
I’m still not over the stupid ass rumors of Baby Hotline being about some random girl/somehow a wife he never had who unslived themselves. Like how did that even start?
weirdcore meets dreamcore meets liminal space core, just a whole masterpiece of a human
This hit hard. Only cause it was sincere.
How he said f*ck 3:57
He said how the f*ck💀
I ain't into this type of music , but his music is good
Anyone know the group Covenant? This guy kinda sounds like em
Milk hits hard
Jack Stauber is the evolution of the musical genre Mac Demarco started imo
I found Jack through weird paul
I'm a few hours late but I'll still comment to help with the algorithm
Dope
Tell me why it is easy to breathe on tv 😭
that’s just a theory
A game theory
Thanks for watching
I am the 100th like. Ain't that neat?
Pssst Neeeeeeeeerd!
Why do people push their own subjective interpretation to a song
Is the thumbnail a jojo reference?
Why the hell would it be?
@@TheGodIvy wupz did the thumbnail change? I forgot but it made sense at the time I swear.
