What a legend!! Diesel juke stall. Not stalling without cable connected. It was a dirty Maf sensor. Cleaned it, had to clear motor yellow light that appeared for disconnecting the sensor using an odb reader. Now, working fine.

Thank you! Thanks to you it was discovered that the air sensor in my car had a fried cockroach inside the sensor and it was not making good contact. The car was giving many error codes on the computer. We would never have found the problem so quickly if it weren't for you. God bless you and your family.

Hello hi, I'm sadys, first I have been trying to fix my car for two months Jesus two months myself my car is my job I do Uber and lift so. omg you are a life saver I can not force a mechanic so my 2015 Nissan Versa Note Star turned on and shut off, and seconds, after I changed the Gass pump and the catalyst, I did myself watching videos today I saw this video from you, and guess what I run outside to my car and disconnect the master flow censor and my car Dont shut off I'm starting to cry because I waste a lot of money doing all the Gass pump parts shit thing and is just the master flow censor I appreciate god putting your video today on my way thank you I fixed I'm going right now to outdo part to get the part and change thank you so much, god bless you and bless the internet

Bro u might’ve jus saved me😭😭 im fixing my mom broken car for myself but it’s not really broken it jus has been sitting for 4 years in my parking lot because she got a new car n I jus went too go buy a new battery and it turned on but didn’t start but then we put new gas and basically jus spent like $300 jus doing things trying to fix it and my gpa told me I need a gas pump so Im waiting till my new check comes in but once I go home ima try this and hopefully it works so I can start driving it 😂😂 so thank you for commenting this !

Thank you i did pull one sensor connect to the air filter box but that did not make a difference. What's a sensor like you showed connected to the throttle body did the trick.
That one was the MAF (mass air flow) sensor

I had this exact issue
When the car starts, it used to vibrate alor too
Cleaned my airflow sensor, and it worked like a charm.
Yep, sometimes you can get lucky just by cleaning it but use mass air flow cleaner designed for it. Not carb cleaner.

2002 Dodge Ram 5.9 L starts and immediately stalls. It doesn't have a mass air flow sensor. I'm going to look at the throttle position sensor, but I'd like your thoughts before I start tearing shit apart. Thanx in advance.
Make sure the big rubber intake is clamped tight and not ripped.
If I keep it unplugged will it do anything bad to the vehicle?
Yes and no, it won’t mechanically damage the engine but it won’t pass emissions test and will get worse gas mileage and poor performance . Because computer isn’t relying on real data only the default program.

Probably not. But make sure big rubber intake tube is not cracked anywhere and clamps are tight too

Good morning sir i need help for my engine car hyundai tucson 2014. The problem sometimes have starting problem and sometimes can start and running and drive the car about 30-40 minute after that the engina stall and cut out immediately and after that if want to start the engine cannot start again. I have already change many sensor and already change fuel pump, throttle body also change timing chain but the problem still the same. Please help me sir if u have any solution cause i have already spent so much for the car.
You have to bring it to local mechanic can’t diagnose from what you’re saying too many things can cause your problems

Dad just got my mom a used VW New Beetle, and it's been doing this randomly - sounds like it starts clean but then stalls less than a second later. Looks like the previous owner may have tried this trick already though, the MAF was disconnected when they got it. It's disappointing, but at the very least it rules out one more problematic part. Thanks for putting this out there!
Sure no problem. Sorry to hear that someone would be dishonest. Also make sure the rubber boot that goes into the intake manifold where the MAF is located is not ripped as well. Good luck
I can fix anything, you just have to remember, it's still a German car built to last IF properly maintained. And yes, not that mechanic friendly if you are not familiar with them.
it worked we plugged it back in to make sure it was that so we pulled it out it started back up about 3 times in about 10 minutes now just won’t start again why
Just replace it and make sure the rubber boot it not ripped and tight

@talusuu2606 That sensor does control air fuel ratio so yes and disconnect the negative battery terminal for 5 minutes after you replace the sensor

Can be anything really, have to scan for codes, check for loose wiring or a bad sensor. Make sure rubber air intake hoses are not loose or cracked

i have this exact thing happen to my 2021 honda accord but it isnt thr MAF sensor.. any idea on whats the next thing to check?
Check the rubber boot that goes into the throttle body for cracks or loose. Make sure your security system is not faulty too. Your car is pretty new shouldn’t be that hard to find

Yes but make sure there are not cracks in the rubber boots and that they are clamped tight.

You forgot to mention what makes the MAF dirty that fast, it's because people never change the Engine Air Filter.

That is the problem with mine I unplugged and it started on. So
I replaced it with the mass airflow system and still shuts off would it might just be dirty?
go with a brand new factory sensor, check your air filter, and clean your throttle body.

my car just stopped driving while on the highway. I go to get gas in a jug to see if that’s the problem nope still wouldn’t start and I knew it really couldn’t be gas cause I just put 40 in the tank. I watch this vid and go check under my hood and notice my entire flow system came off 😭😭it was loose as hell from when I change my spark plugs. Put it back on tighten it and car turned right on 😭😭😭😭wow

@gurpreetsinghsidhu8811 first this to do is see if the engine is seized, watch my video on how to check that. Next would be a compression test, have video on that as well, make sure oil is not low, battery is charged and go from there.

Don't assume that a cheap MAF that fits will be right for the job.
If you are 100% it's the MAF and the car is worth another year,get a genuine part.
Probably end up having to get OEM anyway so go straight to it.
The video is not so much about the brand MAF sensor you buy but however I do believe OEM is best but some people may not always have the money to buy OEM. There are many aftermarket parts that are very good quality it just depends on the individuals situation.
