What a legend!! Diesel juke stall. Not stalling without cable connected. It was a dirty Maf sensor. Cleaned it, had to clear motor yellow light that appeared for disconnecting the sensor using an odb reader. Now, working fine.

Bro u might’ve jus saved me😭😭 im fixing my mom broken car for myself but it’s not really broken it jus has been sitting for 4 years in my parking lot because she got a new car n I jus went too go buy a new battery and it turned on but didn’t start but then we put new gas and basically jus spent like $300 jus doing things trying to fix it and my gpa told me I need a gas pump so Im waiting till my new check comes in but once I go home ima try this and hopefully it works so I can start driving it 😂😂 so thank you for commenting this !
Thank you! Thanks to you it was discovered that the air sensor in my car had a fried cockroach inside the sensor and it was not making good contact. The car was giving many error codes on the computer. We would never have found the problem so quickly if it weren't for you. God bless you and your family.

Thank you i did pull one sensor connect to the air filter box but that did not make a difference. What's a sensor like you showed connected to the throttle body did the trick.
Dad just got my mom a used VW New Beetle, and it's been doing this randomly - sounds like it starts clean but then stalls less than a second later. Looks like the previous owner may have tried this trick already though, the MAF was disconnected when they got it. It's disappointing, but at the very least it rules out one more problematic part. Sure no problem. Sorry to hear that someone would be dishonest. Also make sure the rubber boot that goes into the intake manifold where the MAF is located is not ripped as well. Good luck
I can fix anything, you just have to remember, it's still a German car built to last IF properly maintained. And yes, not that mechanic friendly if you are not familiar with them.

Mine did not fix with unplugging the mass air. I already replaced the mass air. This is on a 2006 Scion tC. I'm now thinking is the fuel pump. Do you have a video on that issue?

Thank you! Can be your alternator, because once vehicle is started it can run without battery hooked up. Battery should be replaced though because it needs a jump.
I have a Ford ranger 2.5tdci auto year 2008. If i start the car it will run but dies after 3 to 4 seconds. I need to press the accelerator while starting it. And release the accelerator after 5 to 6 seconds it start running. Then i can drive as usual after starting the car like that and have to repeat the same process every time when starting it. What might be the issue? Fuel filter checked but mechanic say that's not the issue. Could it be MAF sensor?
Check the rubber boot that goes into the throttle body for cracks or loose. Make sure your security system is not faulty too. Your car is pretty new shouldn’t be that hard to find

Yes and no, it won’t mechanically damage the engine but it won’t pass emissions test and will get worse gas mileage and poor performance . Because computer isn’t relying on real data only the default program.

Don't assume that a cheap MAF that fits will be right for the job. If you are 100% it's the MAF and the car is worth another year,get a genuine part. Probably end up having to get OEM anyway so go straight to it.
The video is not so much about the brand MAF sensor you buy but however I do believe OEM is best but some people may not always have the money to buy OEM. There are many aftermarket parts that are very good quality it just depends on the individuals situation.
@gurpreetsinghsidhu8811 first this to do is see if the engine is seized, watch my video on how to check that. Next would be a compression test, have video on that as well, make sure oil is not low, battery is charged and go from there.

When the car starts, it used to vibrate alor too
Cleaned my airflow sensor, and it worked like a charm.
Yep, sometimes you can get lucky just by cleaning it but use mass air flow cleaner designed for it. Not carb cleaner.

Check for vacuum leaks between the air filter and throttle, the big air ducts for cracks.

@talusuu2606 That sensor does control air fuel ratio so yes and disconnect the negative battery terminal for 5 minutes after you replace the sensor

Can be anything really, have to scan for codes, check for loose wiring or a bad sensor. Make sure rubber air intake hoses are not loose or cracked

Yes but make sure there are not cracks in the rubber boots and that they are clamped tight.

Could be a short in the ignition system possibly the ignition switch.
