...mein Knasturlaub 1997 bleibt unvergessen, Freunde sind mit mir nach Osnabrück gefahren zum Heidpark wo ProPain einen geilen Auftritt hingelegt haben...für immer in meinen Erinnerungen...
Love every song... Haven't heard this album for say ten years... FUCKING KICKS ASS... 1 Man army all fucking right... So ahead of there time it's relevant AF right now.. and probably forever. The best guitar solo in history.. so fast... Can fingers move faster.. NO... Best lyrics and flow... I could go on and on. Love you guys. Seriously Ice T... So rad...
First Pro-Pain cd I got. Gary's voice scarred me for life. Even if I learned he dislikes the voice production of the record, that's what makes it stands out for me. Badass.
I'd like to thank Eric Schroeder for introducing me to Pro-Pain by blasting this album at full volume in his truck over and over. 100% against the grain, 100% Pro-Pain!
El Baconmaster don't get me wrong I've been into these guys since I first heard this album when it came out in 94 I think ..but masterpeice it's unfortunate but it's not ..as heavy and brutal as it is. ..if you play guitar ..like 20 yrs ago when I was still new I learned the entire album in a hour and a half extremely simple very basic power chords ..I still play my favs on it from time to time .
Dla mnie ten album nr 1 z dyskografii Pro-Pain. Słuchało się często i gęsto na przegrywanej kasecie w latach 90-tych. Sentyment pozostał. Najlepszy utwór wg mnie? "Down in the Dumps"
One of the best metal pieces I've heard so far...I was a kid and I was blown away when I heard it for the first time back in 90s and that feeling is the same even now PRO-PAIN: The Truth Hurts!!!!!
I bought "Foul Taste Of Freedom" the week it came out- still their best. I have the banned "Autopsy" version of their cassette too…. these guys consistently put out some good material….
Only saw 'em live once- missed them on the "Foul Taste" tour when the hit "The Sting" in New Britain, CT- was pissed- I was 16 and my parents wouldn't let me go (school night! lol). I saw 'em later on the "Contents Under Pressure" tour- Club Toast, Burlington VT with MADBALL!
Derek Diedricksen I know. They don't seem to tour the States as often. I saw them play a bunch of times in the nineties at the El N Gee club In New London, CT. Would love to see them again, but they seem to play only in Eastern Europe these days.
Definitely still arround. Saw them not to long ago at Biebob (belgium). They are also playing at graspop metal meeting this year. You should check them out when you got the chance. These guys are one of the best live bands i've ever seen.
Eric Clark Dude, they're still around for sure, still kicking. Some may argue that their recent stuff is kinda off track, but they are definitely still around. There ain't many of us fans around tho, and that sucks.
Gary się nie opierdala, jak dla mnie to to jest najlepsza ich płyta. Mam kasetę z 1994 roku, która obsłużyła wiele szkolnych wycieczek... to były czasy....
Saw them on this tour....with M O.D. opening. Shit was brutal fun! Jumped on stage and grabbed a pic from Gary's Mike stand. At first I thought he was gonna kick my ass, then he smiled huge, and I knew I was in the clear! Epic as fuck! That was in Tucson Az at an old movie theater that no longer exists. I also had to save a friend of mine from being killed in the parking lot by skinheads for wearing a Fila Jacket. Shit was intense!!!!! Crazy times
+TexasWhiteSnake TWS Your in Texas I am guessing I am in the NY/ Pa area. I would love to throw shows again this summer in this area. I know Pro Pain too. I just don't know the scene like I use too. I wanna throw a big summer jump off. Maybe Pro Pain, Sworn Enemy, All out war full blown Chao's& a few others I know well. Still I think a heavy newer band like emmure or born of Osiris could pack a place. This summer I am def putting together a sick band & throwing
+TexasWhiteSnake TWS That sucks the scene here is not what it use to be back in 03 04 I was in a band that played with everyone talking hatebreed, Anthrax, Overkill, Dying fetus, Sworn enemy, ILL Nino, CKY & tons of others Pro Pain twice. I had 2 clubs to book anything I wanted. I was a promoter too. Booked some decent shows. Had Diecast, bury your dead, it dies today. Among big locally famous bands too. I was before my time because Bury your dead only drew 65 people. Meanwhile the hipsters where booking Coheed & Cambria & Thursday with lines around the block. There are good bands now like born of Osiris or the browning. Parkway drive or a band like Killswitch Its not new to me either is born of Osiris. I guess I am stuck in the past. Man I love Pro-Pain ... only seen em once Elvis Room Portsmouth NH with Pissing Razors. Omfg what a great show. Quick story...at bar shooting shit with band and I noticed drummer wearing a sling...hmm I ask the what happened and shit..then say who's filling in? He's like that's Me, and everydamn time he came down with that arm you could see him wince, but never missed a beat!!!
I have always loved the title track of this album. Harsh rapping, if you want to call it that, in the verses and then the *THE TRUTH HURTS! THE TRUTH HURTS!* in the chorus..... 🤌🤌🤌🤌 *Chef's Kiss*
Great album that is hard to get ahold of. I opened for them first on this album then again on contents under pressure. Great guys & they play thier hearts out live. I miss music like this this was the original Metalcore. Hardcore style with Metal riffs & solos. His voice was sick on this album.
+Sd Ny It was 1999 and I was 17 back then, when this masterpiece came out. This is one the most important music albums for me personally. Gary's voice is absolutely amazing on this one and also on Contents Under Pressure. Those two CDs really made me think hard about what life is, as I was entering my adult years back then. Great music, great vocals, great lyrics!
I'M OLD SCHOOL AS WELL AND THIS SHIT TAKES ME BACK MAN. THEIR SOUND IS FUCKIN AWESOME. THIS IS WHAT THE NEW AGE SHIT SHOULD TAKE LESSONS FROM. WHO THE FUCK IS THE BLACK VEIL BRIDES. WTF IS THAT SHIT. SEPULTURA, PRO-PAIN, SLAYER. NOW THAT'S FUCKIN METAL MAN.

Hardcore is as much punk rock as it is metal. That's it's main charm IMO. Love it.

Love me some 90s groove metal.
When I was a kid, in high school (90's) everybody were crazy about Biohazard but not me! I much more preferred Pro-Pain. Still I do :)
loud and agressive! typical Pro-Pain sound! love it
The band with more past members than what I can count .
Still .... One of the best
