Her car is used for grocery runs and social outings with her friends who all drives mercedes, bmw audi or volvo etc...
Paul regarding B mode -it is for engine braking - like going down a steep hill - nothing else. Toyota/Lexus don't recommend you drive in "B" mode on normal roads. It's purely to save your brakes down a steep hill.
Actually on "B" mode, if it's like other Toyota hybrids, it's more specialised use case. It's suggested use is as engine braking on steep descents - it's how it's listed in the instruction manual. The charge that goes back into the battery is comparable to the charge that you'd collect in normal "D" mode.

The X1 and GLA are certainly not in the same size class as the LBX… they’re UX/Corolla Cross/ CHR sized… only the Q2 is a direct competitor size wise which is based on the A1/Polo
They should have just made it a 3 door. Absolutely no point in marketing this as a small suv. Does not make any sense. I’ve noticed this with a few other cars in the segment..

I took an Audi Q5 back four times because of a horrendous noise when pre-sense stopped the car for me: was sure I was scraping something under the car. Nope, it was just what the emergency stopping system sounded like.
I think it's a cool car. It's based on the yaris so sporty drives are kind of pushing it to a stretch.. I mean you can't exactly be expecting an AMG killer out of a 1.5 60kw engine can you? If you drive it the way it was meant to be driven with efficiency in mind you'll be impressed.
