Hi , I install everything and all my tools and custom nodes from ComfyUi is visible in my Nuke 15.0v1 , but : Directory "" does not exist Then I try to work , this message stop me ! Anyone with a similar problem ?
Awesome stuff. But as far as I can see, I have to render out from Nuke to ingest into the Comfy Nodes, since I'm thrown an error once I connect a regular read node. Why's that?
Great video! I was able to open the project inside Nuke, but I'm encountering an issue. Every time I submit a prompt, I get the error: "Directory '' does not exist." Submitting the prompt within ComfyUI works without any problems. The error only appears when I attempt to queue the prompt from within my Nuke script. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Hi i am stuck on Install websocket-client Python Library. I think there is new command which I don't understand. # Windows (As administrator) "C:\Program Files\Nuke15.1v3\python.exe" -m pip install websocket-client
if you have installed python correctly you should just be able to type the following into the command line: pip3 install websocket-client this assumes you have python 3 installed, hence: "pip3"
@ happy to help! And yes, exrs going in is the dream but since these techologies dont go past 8 bit there hasnt been a need yet. Once new model/tech is created with 16 or 32 bit images in mind exrs will be very relevant.
I´m having a problem with cv2 (me and lot of people I´m talking about it). Supposedly its installed but ComfyUI cannot find it. Also I tried to install it from a git link, but no idea about what´s happening any idea?
Thank you. I dont know if it would work because the non-commercial version is pretty locked up. I would still try because its fast enough to do so. Perhaps report back, other can find that info useful.
@@alexvillabon hey! I reached to the point where I can see all of my custom Nodes in Nuke. When I try to run a workflow it's gives an error - ' NoneType' object has no attribute 'knob'. Checking the terminal say node limit reached. So I guess it does not work :(. But if you get a chance please test it again. I might be doing something wrong. Thanks!
Whoa!!! This is a game changer! I'll definetely check that out asap! It's like inception..ComfyUI in NukeUI😂 btw we can save those as nuke script but, what about let's say we started a workflow on comfyUI, then imported in Nuke, then for a reason if we would like to load that back to comfyUI, is that going to be possible? Or do we need to manually do it again in comfyUI? Btw, even though I like comfyUI's node graph, you can't organize them as in Nuke. (It doesn't have the dot!😂) so it will allow us to create bigger workflows without huge unorginazed cables in comfyUI.. Another question. Are we able to use our rotos as inputs for comfyui nodes such as load mask? Thanks!
@@keremoganvfx I’ll go in order. 1. if you go back to comfy and change the workflow you would need to re-export it and import it into nuke again. However, the idea of having it in nuke is that you can make the changes to the workflow without ever leaving nuke. Whatever is more comfortable for you. 2. ComfyUI does have a dot :) 3. Yes, you can imput things like masks directly in nuke.
@@alexvillabon thanks, actually my first question was about can I continue a comfyUi workflow that I did in nuke, back in comfyUi again? Asking this because let's say I did a workflow in nuke but then a node is not working in nuke properly(somehow, bug maybe)...so i have to continue it or try that node outside of the nuke again either way... can I export those nuke nodes as .json again? Of course I don't want to go outside of nuke, that's why I'm very very very excited about that... but i was just curious if it's not 100% working properly in nuke.. 2- oh really? You mean reroute? if you meant that, i know that but it's not that simple as dot imo. I cant click in the middle of a pipe and create a dot from it like in nuke... but if you meant something else pls let me know :) 3- sounds great!! Looking forward to try it
exporting out exrs from comfyui and having everything directly in nuke is high key a game changer
Wow thats wild!! It was only a matter of time
Excellent Tutorial Alex. Gained a Subscriber.
Thanks for the sub!
Nice one! Thank you, Alex.
Aaaand weve rolled into a new Era of compositing .
Cheers Alex
Am I correct assuming this doesn't work with Nuke Indie because of the scripting limitations?
Very cool. I gotta get this stuff setup next time I have break. Thanks.

Same problem. Directory comfyUI does not exist. I'll ping back back if I find something.

Awesome, will you be doing a followup video to explore some techniques that this will make possible perhaps?
I think so. I just need to find the time.
Thank you for the video, really helped with the installation process. Do you know if I can input EXRs into the workflow by any chance?
@@sombrero404 I dont think so. That would be great.

In case anybody is wondering - it doesn't work with Nuke Indie :( The 10-node python limit hits again.
Thanks for sharing the knowledge, though.
@@MadFusionVideo that’s a shame. It would be great to get more people experimenting with this tech. Thanks for sharing your findings!
