Ironic...his sister Maggie is in Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Jeez, I thought “Nightcrawler” was a performance... “Stronger” is Jake’s best performance of all time and it’s a fuckin shame that the academy nor the Golden Globes (Hollywood Foreign Press. who vote) gave him what he deserves. A golden statue with his name under “Best Actor in a Leading Role”. Smh 🤦🏼♂️
I will always love Jake Gyllenhaal, he seems so down to earth and of course a phenomenal actor in each of his roles. And also Rachel is such a great interviewer, you can see how genuine she is in expressing her thoughts / admiration on Jake’s work.

This has only just appeared on my Recommendations, and it's one of the best JG interviews. It's interesting to hear about his preparation and the small touches which add to the characters. I like the table set-up too: even though it's in front of an audience, it still feels comfy and intimate (host Rachael's body language helps). I melted when Jake complimented his sister!
