  • Hi Friends! This is part 1 of a 2 part wire wrapping tutorial on how to make a wire-wrapped cuff bracelet and then in the same steps, make a gorgeous wire-wrapped sidebar pendant! This all originates from my Midway Station tutorial where I show us how to capture a small stone cabochon in the middle of a wire.
    Then using that same single wire, we create a gorgeous Bar Frame. From these same steps, you can use the base bar frame to create the beautiful Cuff Bracelet by bending the bar arms, or use the bar frame to create the matching pendant!
    These are all beginner tutorials and fun for all skill levels! Tools, Materials, Measure and other Notecards are in the front of the video.

    These are great wire wrapping tutorials for your mini stones!
    I created my Midway Station wire wrapping cabochon technique so that we can capture a stone in the middle of a wire, rather than at the ends...which we still need sometimes, but we can add this technique to our skillset. From capturing the cabochon in the middle of the wire, you can then use both ends to create design in 1001 ways. Use cabs between 6mm and 12mm, either oval or round are the best sizes for this technique. Bigger cabs should use a different technique, which you can find many of in my TUTORIALS playlist! Have fun making your own DIY wire wrapped jewelry!

    A customer of mine saw me wearing this braclet on a christmas fair some weeks ago and she asked me if I could make a ring in the same style....... So that's what I'm going to try today! Using a small lapis lazuli cab. Wish me luck 😀🥰

      @@PerfectlyTwistedJewelry I did it!!!! It is Beautiful! Definitely not perfect, but with a little practice it's going to be a great ring to sell 😀😀👍👍 I made it adjustable as I used a similar design as the bracelet. I put on an extra wire for more decoration 🙂 I'm so happy with the outcome 💗💗💗

    Oh I love this one as much as the first cuff bracelet using the midway technique! I don't have square or half round wire so I think I will try to give it a go in round wire...maybe I'll even wire weave the two arm wires together. Thanks again for your generous free tutorial gifts!!

      It'll work great with round wires, Susan, no problem! I love when you work my tutorials, you are so creative! I love your ideas of weaving the frame wires ;)

    Lovely designs...I especially like the cuff, but I'm confused about the stone size. Is it really only 8mm round or is 8mm the depth of the stone? Thanks!

    • @PerfectlyTwistedJewelry
      @PerfectlyTwistedJewelry  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Tracy! The round moonstone for the cuff is 8mm round and about 5mm thick. The next tutorial for the pendant uses an oval cabochon, 8mm tall by 7mm wide and about 5mm thick. I hope that helps!
