Oh, my--I think my heart would be in my throat watching my kid drive off with someone's truck! Can't wait for the rest. Thank you Jay and Happy New Year!
One of my favorite recipes! I do this with ham but have usually just used an 8x10 casserole dish. I will definitely try the muffin tins and freezing a few. Looking forward to Tobias' and Tosha's story on Friday! Tobias has been a favorite character of mine since the beginning of the series. So glad he is finally getting his own story. Thank you, Jay!❤
Thank you, Karen - I hope you enjoy them! Yes, I think it's basically a breakfast casserole but cooked in single servings for quick reheating. Oh, and you won't be disappointed with Tobias' story; Jessie did a fabulous job (as usual)!
Hello Jay. I'm so excited for this new story. I'm glad and fortunate that Ms. Gussman and you present her books in this format. I started reading her books with the Sweetwater series. I am no longer able to read well due to visual impairment and am so grateful to have this access to her books. Thank you for all the wonderful stories. Have a very blessed new year.
Thank you, Jennifer, and Happy New Year to you as well! It's truly our pleasure to have her books like this, and I'm so glad you can (and do) enjoy them!
OK, since the recipe just calls for a certain number of strips of bacon (and not an exact measurement), I did some detective work and rewatched the video, and filled the dish I had my bacon in with approximately the same amount of water, and measured that - and it came out to just under 2/3rds of a cup. I couldn't tell you how much uncooked sausage that would be, but I hope this helps!
You need to correct the recipe ingredients because you said 1/2 teaspoon of salt but it is listed as 1/2 TBS. The recipe looks delicious. I have been looking forward to Tobias' story for months and am sure it will be a favorite. Happy New Year!
Ha - yep, you are correct (and the written version is correct). I did put something up on the screen when I said it that it was a half-tablespoon, but thank you for keeping me straight, Karen! (Honestly, with bacon that's even remotely salty, you might not even notice the difference)
These books are my comfort blanket. Thank you Jessie and Jay ❤❤❤❤
I'm so glad that we can do that for you, Sandra! You're so welcome!

I am going to have to give this a try, looks easy and delicious :)
I hope you will, Denice - it is really easy, as breakfast recipes go!
You updated your closing blurb! Sounds good!
Yes, I did! Thanks for noticing! I should have known I couldn't slip anything past you, Lois! 😊
The egg bites look delicious! As an alternative, please give a measurement for cooked crumbled sausage, if that's used instead. Thanks so much!
Thank you! I'll check on the sausage for you!

@@SaywithJay That definitely helps! Thanks!
