Hello Liz Paul and Ernie. The vlog was really interesting this week, just love them all. We went to bugsworth basin last week, what a lovely canal. Can't wait to see what you have done to the bedroom. Your hair always looks lovely. See you Wednesday. X
Ah thanks Jayne, lovely to hear that you enjoy them. Is it still really busy on the peak or has it quietened down a little now? Bedroom is actually in the week after next 😉 As for the hair, the orange tones are shining back through again already 🤣😊
So sorry for your loss Paul. Must have been a very emotional weekend with your friend's funeral and your Granddaughter turning one ❤ Liz, your hair is lovely 😍 its got a mahogany sheen to it. Very Autumnal. The scenery footage at sunset was just sublime. Well done also on climbing White Nancy. We've done The Cloud a few times (we lived in Congleton for a few years) and it's lovely views on a clear day. Thank you for all of the work you put in on putting these videos out 😊❤
Dear Liz, Paul and Captain Ernie, The view from the White Nancy was spectacular. Something says that it is better in reality than through the lense. Like you, our trees are also turning colour rapidly. The cold nights (-1 etc.) and the warm days of plus 15 to 23 are causing the plant life to display some amazing colour. Winter, for us, is close by as we expect the first snow around the end of October. Looking forward to your next vlog as always. Mark Alberta, Canada
Wow that's quite a drop in temperature during the evening isn't it. First snow coming to you soon, I do love the snow, we kept missing it last year as we travelled around. I'm hoping we see some this year 😊
Hi Liz, Yes it is quite a drop but produces wonderful colours in the plants. I use to ski and would wait for winter. These days when winter hits it is shoveling the white stuff and dealing with the cold. The day time temperatures will be dropping soon but fortunately we do have very low humidity compared to Britain. In the winter season I hide in the basement all snuggled up watching my favorite narrowboaters, like you, Paul and Captain Ernie. Hugs to you all. Mark Alberta, Canada@@uponreflection
Sorry for your loss Paul. We're all cruising to the same destination aren't we. But in the meantime, we have a lot of White Nancies to climb and a lot of beautiful scenery to enjoy. Bollington looks gorgeous...I see a house for sale by the canal...(note to self: check real estate in Bollington...). Cheers guys and thanks again for sharing with us.
Thanks Neil. We really liked Bollington and although it was hard work, loved the views from the top of white nancy. It definitely made the climb worthwhile. 😀
Hi Ern - another great vlog. When you took your staff (Liz, maid, & Paul, butler) up the White Nancy, we did not hear a word of complaint from you - you just got on with it! Liz, I think Ern wants your hair colour to match his. Also, I think he would help you, if you really wanted to become a boater, by getting a dunking. When you saw the heron, I love it when they perceive danger, they fly off, in the direction they see you are going, and then, surprise surpise, it happens again - hence the expression 'bird brained'. On a more serious note, hope that by the time this comes out, that Paul is back on the boat with you. Looking forward to your next one. Stay safe.
🤣 I think Ernie must be putting bleach in my shampoo 🤣 That heron moved like that about 5 or 6 times before he gave up and flew the other direction 🤣 Paul, back on boat all ok. 😊 Thank you so much for watching 😊
Another great vlog. Well done for doing the White Nancy. My arthritic hip would nt let me do it when I was in Bollington. So it was nice to see what it was all about. Cheers!
Hard bloody work is what it was about Ray 🤣🤣 and then Vic from Holly the cafe boat posted a vlog of him running up it 🤣🤭 well and truely put to shame we were 🤣😊
great Vvlog guys, as you in the uk getting ready for Autumn we over here in Adelaide South Australia, are just about to enter Spring, with flowers on the trees, such a lovely look...I know what you mean you see things a bit differently thru a camera than a real eye.... gotta love photography.... lovely shots of the bosley locks thanks guys.see you next week.

I notice the difference between a cell phone and my Canon 600D when taking sunsets and cloud formation. But you also got some awesome shots of the sun setting.🙂 Love the scenery that is video'd each week. 🙂 The trek up the hill. Low on sugar... as I didn't see any water bottles and snack bars in your hands. I have suffered with Vertigo.... had it for 9 months once. Not a nice thing to have. Oh Liz you are making me wait a WHOLE week to see the new bedroom colour scheme... ya meanie... 🙂NZ*
Ha ha I wondered if you would pick up on my comment to you at the end about the bedroom colour change 🤣 sorry though, I'm afraid it will be 2 weeks as it's in the week after next..but the pink has GONE 🥳 I should really get my proper camera out more often but these days with phone cameras it's so easy to be lazy and just take footage on that. Vic from “Holly the Cafe Boat” often runs up to White Nancy, he must be crackers😂😂
We tried but unfortunately, despite it being a weekend they were shut on our way up the Macclesfield and on our way down. We were gutted. But seeing there latest vlog, I think the cafe boat was having a bit of an overhaul so we badly timed that. 😊
