What a lovely vlog , great scenery combined with your natural approach to capturing all aspects of your journey. What a lovely shot of Paul and Ernie on the bench both deep in thought taking in the view. Fantastic, look forward to your next journey.
OMG that was a very scary at first going across the Aqueduct.... but then going along the Llangollen canal was beautiful especially your walk to Horseshoe falls, just absolutely beautiful..... I was born in wales so hopefully next time I visit I want to at least walk across that Pontcysylite Aquaduct..... this is my bucket list next time I visit the UK... thanks guys was awesome, and thank you Ernie you did well also... keeping those Adults in control......🐕🦺🐕🦺🐕🦺🐕🦺🎥🎥
Wales is beautiful part of the world, isn't it Lyn. Definitely one to see and walk across next time you in the UK and a visit to Llangollen, if you've not been already, is a must 😍😊
Dear Liz, Paul and Captain Ernie, Well good day to one and all. Paul you were asking what the name on the store/shop front meant. The best translation is probably "shop post cards at Pontdrosyrafondwryn Llangollen". Liz, I can totally agree with you about the height thing while going over the aquaduct. In 2019 I had the privilege of paragliding in the Slovenian mountains. OMG what an experience that was. My eyes were closed for most of it, but when they were open the view was incredible, much like the view from the aquaduct. Captain Ernie stop pushing people into the canal lol. Take care and looking forward to next week. Mark Alberta, Canada
Thank you guys for a brilliant vlog! I enjoyed this one so much i had to save it, so good! Superb filming and photography; Liz’ artistic eye clearly is shining! I hope you shopped till you dropped, lol! Great to get all the footage out and about, it is so beautiful there! I hope you stay a bit longer! Please?❤🦮♥️
I wish we could have stayed longer Eric but we had to ensure that we headed off before the closures happen on the canal..you will see a bit more of Llangollen next week before we head onto the montgomery though 😊
🤣 I admire his boat handling skills too, he's taken to it well and just does it with ease now, meanwhile I still have to think twice about which way to move the tiller 🤣
Your more than welcome, just a shame I wasn't filming at the time of seeing you guys so I could have got a shot of your boat on the video. Hope to see you soon. We have Harecastle tunnel booked for tomorrow. How did you guys find it?
Hi guys lovely 😊 video as always loved the the picture of Paul and Ernie sat on the seat look forward to next week's video take care lizzy bulgaria xxx
Loved your Llangollen vlog. It is a lovely place where we used to caravan every July for the International Eistedford. Enjoyed walks along the canal, over the aqueduct and up to the castle ruins. Sadly we are too old to go back but vlogs like yours bring back great memories. Keep up the good work. Never visited the Montgomery canal so looking forward to that.
Well done guys on the aqua duct and on the narrows. Enjoyed your trip into Llangollen is a very pretty place. Thank you for sharing. ATB to you all. Take care and stay safe.😊
Hey Guys, as far as the prices they charge for parking..... yeah, it seems that more and more businesses and corporations have let greed replace honesty and integrity. Maybe it's just me or maybe it's because of what we are currently experiencing over here across the pond. 🤷♂ Anyway, that part of the canal system is beautiful. I've seen a few vlogs on it, and it looks like it's a pretty popular vacation spot as well. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
" How did you find the aquaduct...On the map" If I had false teef they'd of been flying out my gob haha! A lot of people have squeeky bum time going over it to be fair. You should watch Dan Browns early vlogs when he had narrowboat Tilly to see how beautiful the Golly looks in the snow Liz can't believe you walked straight past the bakery and didn't get a pasty or pie. Boaters are getting sick of dog walkers not picking up after thier dogs paul, it's a big problem network wide. You should of got your rod out paul and did a bit of poaching it's the autumn salmon run lol Wish the weather would of been better for you to really apreciate how good it is round there. But as always great content and loads of laughs :)
I'll have a search for that video I bet it looks amazing in the snow. I can't believe I walked straight past the bakery either bit it was probably a good job seeing as I had hand made cake given me by Lesley and she came back and gave me another slice for breakfast too 🤣🫣 Some dog walkers allow their dogs off lead and wander so far in front or tail behind them it's obvious that they would never pick up the dog poo as they are usually too far away to even see where the dog did it 🤔 and quite often than not, too busy looking at their phones anyway 🫣 The weather wasn't great but to be fair when we were at the basin it was beautiful and blue skies at least. 😊
Thank you so much. Yes, they drained it last year I believe and did major works on it, think its due to close again for a few days in the new year to inspect it and the works that they have done 😊
Oohh that Aqueduct, very scary. 😮 Those were very narrow bits of Canal. Breath in. Very nice looking lemon Cake. 😋🍋 Now I know why they call it the Golly, much easier to pronounce. Lol. TFS, & take care you 3. 👍🐶
