But since Malz has given himself over to the Void, and Kass is not impacted by the void rn due to his tools, (and Kai'sa...has issues) We need a proper void-related thing that can be a proper character. If the management team LETS the writers pull off a monster who is an actual character that would be great tho.
A Void Event might come too, there are a lot of hints left by Riot. Bard’s latest story talks about the Void, the new Malzahar story, the Arcane event in League PC shows champs killing void creatures. And the new voic champ coming with Malzahar’s story too

I dont think he is biding his time. I think LeBlanc is keeping him from coming back, but if the Void attacks Noxus he may be accidentally brought back or LeBlanc might be forced to bring him back to fight the void.

I think he may be decaying, or at least is slowly being consumed by the void. Like when his mind was consumed by the void, his body started the consumption process that the void typically does, but because he is overflowing with void energy, as he is *THE* void prophet, his decay/void consumption might be slowed. So I went and read the story to get the facts for myself, and here's what I think. 1) In the Frejlord, the Frejlordians, like Necrit said are most likely going to band together to fight the void. This is because Meir had the vision of the Old watchers, who initially went through the portal that Lissandra made and froze them there along with the rest of the Yetis, breaking out and continuing with what they were originally going to do, which is consume the Frejlord. 2) I think the new void champ might've been the thing responsible for the complete destrutcion of Icathia, as in that story, Icathia was entirely consumed when they released the void initially. One reason why it may not have been noticed is because those who go near the hole that was icathia are consumed by the visions of the Watchers and become void cultists. And after consuming Icathia there was nothing left for it to consume so it had no ability to be born yet, until the moment when Malzahar became consumed by the visions from the Watchers. He then became their strongest Zealot and continued its feast from where it left off. 3) If the void is set up to have its own event, and I'm pretty sure it's already in the process since the first void champion, the very first place that it would be happening would be in Shurima, and then moving on to Frejlord, at almost the exact time. I think this because in Vel Koz's story and bio, the Watchers where first thinking of consuming Runeterra from the Frejlord. They only moved on to other entry points, after Lissandra betrayed them, and froze some of them under the Hollowing Abyss. And in the Destruction of Icathia story, the Icathians opened a portal into the Void unleashing many of its horrors into Runeterra, which led to its destruction and consumption by the void. And of course, from the ghost shopkeeper in the Hollowing Abyss map, he gives out many lore bits about how some of the void creatures and watchers were able to get into the Frejlord, but due to there being a small number of them, were pushed down into the Abyss, where they supposedly died. But the frozen bodies of the other Watchers are still there, they are simply frozen and waiting. And although most skins don't really offer a lot in lore, the Frozen watcher skin from Vel Koz, has the little lore bit, that the watchers will eventually break out of their ice prision, find Lissandra, and attack her for what she'd done, as in Lissandra's biok she initially made a deal with the Watchers, only to betray them. EDIT: I went back to read Bard's stropy and now its just confirmed something to me. The Chimes that Bard collects have purpose more than just summoning meeps to him. It allows him to grow his cosmic power, so that he can push back the Void. In both Bard's bio and his new story, it drops little hints and lore bits about why Bard, a cosmic caretaker, came down to Runeterra. -One; Many cosmic objects found their way onto the planet, and Bard is returning them to their rightful places among the stars, as was shown in Bard's cinematic video. -Two; Bard noticed that there was a "music" that played with the population of the planet, but there was a slight corrupted note among the "world chorus" as pointed out in the Bard story. And the ones that noticed this corrupted note were the meeps, who are living manifestations of energy and expresses this enbodiment, through their "song". -Third; In the story, Bard sends the meeps out to collect "chimes" which, as told by the story teller, are to be used to stich up the cracks created by the "song" of the void. AKA, chimes are being used by Bard to fight against the corruption of the void. -Fourth; In Bard's bio, the Void, and in turn the Watchers, will eventually be able to force its way into Runeterra. And Bard will have to make the decision to fight with Runeterra, or maybe leave it to be consumed. After all, the Void isn't only fixed on Runeterra, as one last time in Bard's bio, "He can see a great conflict approaching-one fought not in any single realm, but in all." *EDIT:* Now I'm wondering fi the Void event will be before Morde's event, or after it. After all, Mordekaiser himself is preparing to invade Runeterra from the Afterlife, with his undead army of spirits, who have been consumed by his power over the dead. TLDR; I'm really excited about where Riot is planning to go with their lore and world.

In Swains Interactions with Aurelion Sol, he mentions siblings. Also in Aurelion Sols story where he closes the Void Rift (the one where he kills the former pantheon) he mentioned something laughing at him from the other side. Now with this story referencing a large female void entity. It makes me wonder if the "she" is Aurelion Sols sister, as in a Void Celestial Dragon. Doesn't seem too far fetched to me.

i love malzahar as a character and really liked this short story overall. the idea that malz' entire skull beeing a fleshy, half-incorporeal beacon of voidlight might be a really cool aspect of a "prophet" like charakter. as in: he perceived the Void with his mind, and now his brain got so corrupted that it is a beacon of pure void. i hope they expand on that idea
The newest story on Universe, “The Faceless God”, also features the Void attacking so yeah there’s definitely Void things happening Also probably new Darkin champion named Xolaani.

The veiny glint of purple between their eyes reminds me of shimmer, and im still convinced that shimmer, viktor and the hexcore and the void are all connected. Especially with the hint of void attacking noxus, and how mels family and noxus is being drawn into arcane just as viktor might be about to accidentally discover the void or somwthing
OK so it seems like this Void creature eats memories, and might be a fish-like creature given all the sea imagery. I also want to note that Meir described a vision of wings, which is interesting because while spider-like Voidlings are common… the only Void creature with wings that we know of is Kha’Zix. So… maybe this new Void champion has wings as well?
And what's interesting is that Kha'Zix only has them because of evolution based on his surroundings. So this creature would be the first Void creature to have wings naturally

I want an actual voidborn mage. Not like vel koz, he plays like a mage but he isn't "a mage". It's his physiology etc. Something like Xerath but he's voidborn or similar would be cool.
I swear Riot could've saved Kai'Sa if they just marketed her differently, they sold her as a tragic child who uses the void to fight it and misses being normal and sees herself as a monster... I have an idea i think you can do instead of stopping doing league story's like you said in the podcast maybe on your twitch channel every time there are new stories you can read them with the chat and upload them on your second channel ,be that getting your twitch bigger and saving time and people like me who like hearing you read stories can still get that.
I have a head canon that the next big League event will be something like "Battle For Icathia" kinda like the Ruination Event where champions from all over come together to push back the Void and save Icathia. I based it on the ruined king games structure, Jax and Zilean work together, Zilean keeps the Void corruption at bay while Jax travels the world trying to find the strongest warriors. So it's like Jax is the main character and collects the strongest champions he can find and brings them back to Icathia. And along the way they encounter various Void champions and gain aid from Kassadin and Kai'sa as they try and stop Malzahar from strengthening the Void Rifts. My initial list of champs that Jax picks: Ekko (Zilean sees potential in Ekko) Tristana (The best Bandle Gunner) Tryndamere (He wants to go to Shurima to learn more about the Watchers and maybe find Aatrox) Leona (She wants to protect Targon since its next to Shurima, and look for Diana after Ruination) Taliyah (She wants to protect her home) Qiyana (Ixtal is super close to Icathia and figures this will grant her favor from her people) Sion (Swain sends Sion to protect Noxian colonizers in Shurima) Samira (Same reason as above) Shen (Senses the Void corruption and wants to cleanse it) Rumble (There because Tristana is there) Fiora (Only one that best Jax in a duel)

Could be a creature similar to Cho gath but honestly I’d love to see Cho get at least a vgu. That 2011 model hurts my eyes. A lot of what’s talked about with consuming does line up with Cho but the memories thing doesn’t so we’ll see.
Current Malzahar also has a Feud with Kassadin. He even Kidnapped his Daughter Kai-Sai and threw her into the Void and turned her into what she is in game.
I really hope we also get a darkin event as well. They haven’t really gotten any new lore recently and it feels like riot has basically just forgotten about them.
Possible incoming Cho'gath rework?????? I just hope it's like the Fiddle rework and remains faithful to the original Cho, he doesn't really need to be redesigned from the ground up. Just give him some kind of gap-closer and some defensive utility so he can be a proper tank, and make him look less like the Violator from Spawn while still being a huge dinosaur monster and I'll be happy!

Malzahar rework: Passive: upon entering Rift Malzahar summons void that consumes the map and every player. Both nexuses explode ending game with a draw. No more abilities I guess

Maybe we'll see a malzahar rework with it. It's not that he's bad or anything, his kit just hasn't ever felt the same since htey reworked him. They said they wouldn't make him a minion mancer, and that's exactly what they did, more or less. There's a lot of cool mechanics he could have to bring him a little more in line with the modern play. The coolest thing I'd like to see on him is the ability to drag Q sort of like viktor, and literally treat each beam as its own damage instance, and if you land both on a target(s) maybe you get a slow or a stun, or the minions teleport to them or something. He used to be my main and I still love him as a champ, I just think he could be a little less binary.

EDIT: I went back to read Bard's stropy and now its just confirmed something to me. The Chimes that Bard collects have purpose more than just summoning meeps to him. It allows him to grow his cosmic power, so that he can push back the Void. In both Bard's bio and his new story, it drops little hints and lore bits about why Bard, a cosmic caretaker, came down to Runeterra.
-One; Many cosmic objects found their way onto the planet, and Bard is returning them to their rightful places among the stars, as was shown in Bard's cinematic video.
-Two; Bard noticed that there was a "music" that played with the population of the planet, but there was a slight corrupted note among the "world chorus" as pointed out in the Bard story. And the ones that noticed this corrupted note were the meeps, who are living manifestations of energy and expresses this enbodiment, through their "song".
-Third; In the story, Bard sends the meeps out to collect "chimes" which, as told by the story teller, are to be used to stich up the cracks created by the "song" of the void. AKA, chimes are being used by Bard to fight against the corruption of the void.
-Fourth; In Bard's bio, the Void, and in turn the Watchers, will eventually be able to force its way into Runeterra. And Bard will have to make the decision to fight with Runeterra, or maybe leave it to be consumed. After all, the Void isn't only fixed on Runeterra, as one last time in Bard's bio, "He can see a great conflict approaching-one fought not in any single realm, but in all."
*EDIT:* Now I'm wondering fi the Void event will be before Morde's event, or after it. After all, Mordekaiser himself is preparing to invade Runeterra from the Afterlife, with his undead army of spirits, who have been consumed by his power over the dead. TLDR; I'm really excited about where Riot is planning to go with their lore and world.

Also in Aurelion Sols story where he closes the Void Rift (the one where he kills the former pantheon) he mentioned something laughing at him from the other side. Now with this story referencing a large female void entity. It makes me wonder if the "she" is Aurelion Sols sister, as in a Void Celestial Dragon. Doesn't seem too far fetched to me.

i love malzahar as a character and really liked this short story overall. the idea that malz' entire skull beeing a fleshy, half-incorporeal beacon of voidlight might be a really cool aspect of a "prophet" like charakter.

OK so it seems like this Void creature eats memories, and might be a fish-like creature given all the sea imagery.
I also want to note that Meir described a vision of wings, which is interesting because while spider-like Voidlings are common… the only Void creature with wings that we know of is Kha’Zix. So… maybe this new Void champion has wings as well?
And what's interesting is that Kha'Zix only has them because of evolution based on his surroundings. So this creature would be the first Void creature to have wings naturally

I have an idea i think you can do instead of stopping doing league story's like you said in the podcast maybe on your twitch channel every time there are new stories you can read them with the chat and upload them on your second channel ,be that getting your twitch bigger and saving time and people like me who like hearing you read stories can still get that.
I have a head canon that the next big League event will be something like "Battle For Icathia" kinda like the Ruination Event where champions from all over come together to push back the Void and save Icathia. I based it on the ruined king games structure, Jax and Zilean work together, Zilean keeps the Void corruption at bay while Jax travels the world trying to find the strongest warriors. So it's like Jax is the main character and collects the strongest champions he can find and brings them back to Icathia. And along the way they encounter various Void champions and gain aid from Kassadin and Kai'sa as they try and stop Malzahar from strengthening the Void Rifts.
My initial list of champs that Jax picks:
Ekko (Zilean sees potential in Ekko)
Tristana (The best Bandle Gunner)
Tryndamere (He wants to go to Shurima to learn more about the Watchers and maybe find Aatrox)
Leona (She wants to protect Targon since its next to Shurima, and look for Diana after Ruination)
Taliyah (She wants to protect her home)
Qiyana (Ixtal is super close to Icathia and figures this will grant her favor from her people)
Sion (Swain sends Sion to protect Noxian colonizers in Shurima)
Samira (Same reason as above)
Shen (Senses the Void corruption and wants to cleanse it)
Rumble (There because Tristana is there)
Fiora (Only one that best Jax in a duel)
Azir may join in the fray as icathia is his background.

Maybe we'll see a malzahar rework with it. It's not that he's bad or anything, his kit just hasn't ever felt the same since htey reworked him. They said they wouldn't make him a minion mancer, and that's exactly what they did, more or less. There's a lot of cool mechanics he could have to bring him a little more in line with the modern play.
The coolest thing I'd like to see on him is the ability to drag Q sort of like viktor, and literally treat each beam as its own damage instance, and if you land both on a target(s) maybe you get a slow or a stun, or the minions teleport to them or something.
He used to be my main and I still love him as a champ, I just think he could be a little less binary.
