Once you fully grow one flow tree it'll give you another seed. As long as you're fine with full grown trees you can just rinse and repeat until you've got as many flow trees you'd like.
Did you ever get told you had reached your limit on how many flowers you can have? I did and had to sell some of my flowers so I could get the new ones that just came out.
Yeah, the Gourmet Butcher Blocks are the Palia community's bootleg paths till the devs add a real one. They're quite effective, you can color them various colors and go to town on them.
I might make a video on that. It requires using the Winterlights Red Present. The technique I used to do it sort of doesn't work anymore as of last patch. It's not impossible, I don't think, just much more difficult. I'm hoping that they will undo whatever they did next patch to make it easier again.

A LOT! I collected 260 seeds total, thinking I would need them all, but only ended up using about 200.
