So something not said in the video at all, that I needed to suss out during my own testing/experimenting (and im sure this is already known in other videos, but its worth mentioning it here) the distance your floor tile will be from the paver is determined by how far you move the paver when attempting to 'proxy' it (having it actively selected/moving it around, then pressing a number key for a placeable item in your inventory). I use the term proxy in this case because you're basically confusing palia into thinking the paver is in 1 spot while actually being somewhere else, which creates the bugged offset. So if you 'proxy' your top paver of the 4 stack to just 1 grid square away, that's how far your floor tile will move once placed. If you proxy it 30 grid squares away, your floor tile will move 30 squares. this might be helpful for people to count the grid squares (the big ones with the bold lines, not the tiny ones), so you can get exact alignment. you can also rotate your paver and the linked floor tile (now clipped under the ground), will rotate with it. Happy building :)

Theo - I have forgotten how to place the curtains for the Bay windows - I used to use 3 chests and a blue present but that doesn't work any more.

Does this work on switch? It does not for me.

Is there a way to move it all at once when the roof is in place?

Question if I may please. I got the cancellation and the sink to work, but I already have a lot of stuff within the boundary at my mailbox, so I did at all elsewhere on the plot and then moved it over once the tiles had been sunk, and now I can't place anything on top of them. Do the cancellation and sink steps HAVE to be done at the mailbox for this to work?

awesome video, thank you so much ❤ my question just is, if this glitch with the advanced placing technique still works, i tried for quite a while and it didn't seem to work, can't do a faster succession of the two keys maybe someone can help me out, otherwise i'll keep trying or ignore it at some point thank you in advance ^^

I have no idea what I’m doing wrong. I’m trying to do the solo room detachment & I don’t know why the room just won’t show up on the other plot. Both landscapes are the same. Maybe I’m just not placing the load plot button in the right spot?

Where did you get the planks for the stairs?

I saw these certain stairs in someones build and had no idea how they did them! Great tutorial that said I cant seem to get it to work, it just wont gitch place even at 30 fps, feelsbad

This is amazing!! Really impressed the level of detail you go into. I’ve managed to get up to placing 2 steps worth of paver planks, but am having trouble with collisions getting the pavers any higher on the staircase. Any tips?

This stairs looks amazing but honestly the process of making it takes a LOT of patience, I cant imagine how much patience you have just to make it look perfect.

😭😭😭 They patched the copper items so they don't ignore collision anymore. I would love if there is a different version of the spiral staircase you could show that could work now.

Patch 0.182 "fixed" copper and iron building blocks and so they now do have collision. You can still accomplish this technique, but you'd have to use the cancelation technique to get the planks to overlap. oh the basic stair layout is really nice, i was looking for a way to make mine nicer and more uniform! i might try butcher blocks for steps though, since i want a single-wide staircase that ends in a different spot than yours...there's finagling to be done, but starting with the 7 floor stack will help a ton i bet!

After fighting through the tutorial with some problems with the obstacle flickering, I almost reached the goal. But it doesn't matter what I try, the last pole isn't horizontally placed on the easel but always vertically between the tilted ones. What did I do wrong? I don't understand it. :(

I'm doing something wrong with the cancel-place action 9:15. I left click and press the number of the item I want to place. The first time it shows that I'm still holding the item I want to place, and when I try a 2nd time, it puts the item back on the ground where it was originally sitting and I have to start over. Can't get that wooden plank where I want it!

If only I could hire ya to help me with my plot 😬
