Other things to note: In this romhack, you can get bottle on B without getting a sword by using fierce deity fishing rod transfer (also, BA doesn't work, and bottle on B stays through resets). You can triple slash stab to clip through the kokiri guard really easily due to FD Link's broken mechanics. You can also do a super easy itemless gerudo gate skip using the post on either side of the bridge, and you can ledge clip OOB in tons of spots, and the CS diving effect has many uses for stuff like early bottom of the well.
12/31/2023 EDIT: Latest release version of the FD mod is 1.15! If you have any version lower than that, please update! There are a lot of important bug fixes that have been made! - เกม

in master quest you actually can skip a key as rising the statues just before dari link open up a door that was locked due to a mistake in the flags

@@LetsPlayNintendoITA2023there's a way you can in normal game with Ferore's Wind too. It's not that big of a deal, but it's an interesting little tidbit.
Oh, silly me! I just had to import the Fierce Deity mask from MM into OoT! Why didn't I think of that? Would've saved me a lot of time.

Honestly I think it's just super cool that we got a working FD Link in OoT.
100% Agreed with you on that. There were attempts made before but nothing to this extent or accuracy. There are so many sequence breaks and skips you can do with it, so I implore everyone to explore the realms of possibility with it! Seriously, you can make some huge jumps with this man, and the beams are said to be able to fight all the bosses in OoT, skipping required dungeon items altogether like boomerang or megaton hammer.

How did you get this installed?
@@JimmyDoresHairDye I downloaded the bps patch file from the release video, opened up a 1.0 English OoT rom in flips, and applied the patch. Then I open the rom in any emulator of my choosing. Me personally, I use PJ64 1.6 but I may shift to 1.7 beta in the future. If you aren't able to patch it, I think I linked a z64 file somewhere in this comments thread earlier. Might need 8MB RAM enabled, and make sure you use GLideN64 GFX plugin for this hack because it's based on Vanilla Debug rom and has compatibility issues with older plugins like Jabo.

You're right, I think the Algorithm is the one asking for this because I keep getting a flood of views/subs ever since I posted about the FD mod :D Although it doesn't really matter much in the end, since no one ever bothers to reach out to me or say anything directly 😔. Part of that is probably just the toxic influence from the Zelda modding scene in general, that's why I'm appreciative of anybody who seems to remotely care.

My gaming range is stuck between 1991 and 2005. I just don't like anything else 2005 but I really don't want to play video games anymore, but I never learned any other hobbies throughout my 32 years of life

LOL. Fun fact: With the strength of the FD blade, you can kill dark link in one hit using a jumpslash if you have 3 hearts! 😉

Unrelated but we need another game with Hyper sonic in it too. Both are OP forms of the series mascot that only saw a single usage, wish franchises weren't one-time only with this kind of stuff.
Playing through most of TotK with the Fierce Deity set was a joy
