A: I was born and raised to Toronto, Ontario, Canada but moved to Essex in England when I was 14 years old. Hence my mixed up accent.

A: I worked in Marketing and PR but I now focus on my vlog full time.

A: I have been married to Matt for since 2009, he is the love of my life! We have three sons - Fraser (born 2010), Caleb (born 2013) and Jackson (born in 2016).

Christmas deco definitely should be kept till NYE ! 🎄🎄🎄🎄💫
In our house we put the tree up just few days ahead of Xmas Eve so it can last till 6 of January. We slowly put up some decoration from 6th December but not much as time before xmas is not festive for us. It is rather waiting for baby Jesus arrival in quiet. We are quite religious and epiphany is a day of Jesus' baptism. Xmas season last till then. Anyway, hope you all enjoy your way od Holiday. Sorry for my English, greetings from Slovakia!
We in Ireland always observe the 12 days of Christmas and traditionally decorations are not taken down till after the 6th of January the feast of the Epiphany on the religious front and here that day is also called Little Christmas Day. A full Christmas Lunch is usually served and sometimes in the past by the men of the house for the women. This day then is also known as Womens Little Christmas and a day where our ladies are spoiled and usually go out for the evening. So no decorations are removed traditionally till the 7th Jan. Then it's hello superclean ha ha. Xcc
I totally agree. I take my decs down around Jan 10th. I want to enjoy them for as long as possible. I really don't get why some people take their decs down so early.
Absolutely, in fact on the 6th we celebrate the 3 kings so that's officially the last day for the holidays' season.

Honestly, if anyone can manage without a kitchen during a renovation, it’s you Emily! You are so organised, proactive, and tidy! Wishing you good luck, you’ve got this! I know you’re going to be super busy, but if you could it would be really helpful if you could document how you cope without a kitchen, like what are the best meals to cook in your slow cooker/air fryer, and tips and tricks you learn along the way!
I think it is always so melancholy to un-decorate the Christmas tree! Luckily for us in Greece, our Santa Claus (Santa Vasilis) is coming at 31/12 in New Years Eve sooo we still enjoy our Christmas decor. We don't un-decore until the 7/01. Happy New Year with a lot of love, health and joy to all!

In Bulgaria we also undecorate after New Year eve, actually around the 7th of January. Have a great new year, everyone!

Hi Emily, I've watched the entire video and loved every minute of it 🥰. It's always manic after retuning home from a short break, all the laundry and taking down decorations. You did amazing. Also, going through the house renovations.. .I feel you. Just keep going, one day at the time. It will be worth it. I would love to see more video content on organising, declutter and amazon buys. Maybe things that are on your wishlist 🙂.
I love how you make everything fit just perfectly. Even the bin in the boys bathroom fits exactly into the gap!! 😊
Just want to say I think you have the PERFECT speed for watching a speed clean 😂 some TH-camrs make it way too slow some too fast etc. yours are always just right!

When our kitchen was being renovated we had a couple of indoor picnics on the floor. Kids loved it!

Would love to see the sporadic footage of Center Parcs! ♥ I am going to start un-decorating later this week, probably Saturday or Sunday - haven't decided yet! lol (my husband would leave it up year round if I went with that idea, haha) Also! We have our trash can out like that in our kitchen because we have nowhere else to put it. Did you designate a place for the trash can in the new kitchen?
After Boxing Day I’m always itching to take down the tree. Just ready for the clean fresh space for the kids to play and also my sons birthday is very early jan so I feel it’s fair to him to separate bday with Christmas xxxx
I agree, we used to leave til New Years day but in recent years it's usually the day after Boxing Day. We usually put up the weekend before the first Dec so a good month is a decent amount of time I think.
I missed the last vlogs for vlogmas, so I would second the centre parcs footage. I would love to see more DITL vlogs, what the boys got for Christmas, new years goals and your aspiration boards you once did with the boys. 💙

Meal prep especially freeze and dump type meals like on six sisters stuff things you can freeze and dump in the slow cooker for when you lose your kitchen? And to give us inspo on different meals to try...
I set up one of the cheap ikea tables with slow cooker, electric hob, air fryer, microwave and kettle and toaster.
Was fine. Washing up was a pain but manageable for the 4-5 months I needed it for.
Me: need to clean and undecorate the house today whose going to give me motivation , ahhh Emily you never ever disappoint!!!

Have you looked at a Cadac or campingaz? It’s mainly used for family camping and is very versatile. You have different tops so you’re able to make sides etc. This is something that I would also keep after as it’s really good for camping/days out with the family x

Can you do a video on how you divide your time amongst the boys and suggestions for what to do with them. I have 4 girls and struggle to spend quality time with them.
The quality was great! It’s amazing how technology gets better and better and so quickly. There is always so much to do after the holiday, thanks so much for the motivation! I would try to set up a temporary kitchen near to a bathroom so that you have running water and dishwashing facilities close by. Maybe the upstairs landing might work or the hallway.

Hi Emily, I have a suggestion for new content. Could you perhaps do a series or even just a video on resolving very specific viewer issues (obviously relevant to your knowledge base and experience) on decluttering, life organisation etc. For example I would appreciate some specific help on storage which I feel is limited in my house. Two areas I really struggle with are my little/spare bedroom. It gets messy very easily as I don’t have much storage and it’s a small room and secondly my storage for reusable shopping bags as these just grow and grow!

Glad you had a lovely Christmas. There is a lady i enjoy watching called Brittany Vasseur, she often does a budget v boujee video, she trys different household items at 3 different price ranges, (hoovers, airfryers etc) then gives her opinion on them. As she is based in the USA i find not all brands are available, so a UK version of this could be good.🤞
