Don t know why this was recommended, but glad it was. I remember seeing a couple of these overseas in the late 80s/early 90s. I had modified my large ALICE based on this, adding fastex buckles, and additional ammo pouches. Man, this brings back memories!
Awesome video about an awesome pack. It is great to hear the design inspiration from the man himself. Between my fiancé and I we have 3 of these packs. 2 of the normal size and one of the large ones. They are all great and easy to use. Subscribed.

Legendary pack. I have one and it's been everywhere with me. I would kill for it to be manufactured again and since Eagle is selling to civilians on their website now.. maybe it's time?
Not being made in China doesn't mean it better quality if it's made according to his exact specifications and it would have cost a lot less to make and sell. The Chinese are some of the very best craftsman on the planet along with the Japanese. Just look at where everything is made that is of good quality, oh yeah they make junk items also but that because some people like that stuff as well.

Gave my nephew one I used when I was in the army,needless to say wish I didnt, I can never replace it,was the same as the one in this video.
That is a nice looking backpack and many must be sold to those in the military, and outside of the military also.
