This video is so rewarding for me. Mose Hamilton was a close friend to my family . He and my uncle Paul Akers were like brothers. Hunted together for years and years. Daddy went too but not as much as Paul and his son, my cousin Russell. Also my Grandfather Clyde Akers and other family members lived in that holler. Not sure when they moved out it may have been in the early 60’s to mid 60’s. Anyway thanks for jogging my memory.

Mose Hamilton was my Father-in-Law. I've hunted and fished with him on several trips on the Tug Fork River, R.D. Bailey Lake, East Lynn Lake, and a few trips to the South Branch of the Potomac River at Smoke Hole to both hunt and fish. Mose was a Kentucky Carbon Coal Miner. A great guy. His wife is still living at the time of this comment, but she is very old. He and Paul Akers were raised up together in that hollow.

leo, i am glad you were doing the filming while it was pouring down rain, because if it had been me, i would have hit that cot, and slept like a baby for 3-4 hours! lol,,, thanks for taking us all along with you!

I enjoyed the rain. We live in a place where rain is very scarce. Long heavy rains never happen. I would absolutely love in where you live. I hope you got to the coal mines again where you find fossils! That was really cool! Thanks for the trip Leo! 🏕❤

BBQ chicken looked delicious. I kept waiting for a bear to smell it & invite himself for dinner 😸 That is a really good tent to keep you dry in the downpour. Very relaxing video The sound of rain is soothing I enjoyed it.

So funny Leo ..watching a scary movie then going out walking around... I always told camp scary stories. My grandkids say tell us a scary story grandma ...lol I sent my son a picture of raw head and bloody bones looking through a window told him to show them and tell them he was looking in my window for kids...my son texted me back and said no way ,that they would never sleep in their beds again. Lol the oldest grandson was takimg lesson from me unknowingly and scared his brother .lol 😂 love the camp video ty and Heather!

Really neat spot. Yeah been caught in several thunderstorms camping. Only one worried me . Grandson and me camping on coast of NC under some tall pines and we didn't need a light, mother nature supplied it 😳😲🇺🇸

Leo, you need a portable power bank charger if you don’t have one. Charge it up and then use it to charge your phone when it runs out. Kudos to you for camping in the rain. I will stick to cabins. lol
