I actually know a fun fact related to just that... Our brain is kinda amazing. While quickly shifting where you are looking, there is a period of time you have a very limited visual input (information wise), because your eyes (and/or head) needs to move, adjust and refocus on your new visual target and send the information to your brain to be processed. While we obviously observe this transitional period happening (as the blur between moving perspective) it’s actually a tiny amount longer than we perceive. What the brain does is alter you recent memory, making you think that what you JUST laid your eyes upon, you were also looking at 0.something seconds before aswell. The brain does this to minimize the amount of sensory gaps and make everything feel smoother. Back to why this is relevant: If you time it correctly and look at a clock at the perfect moment (RIGHT after a new second passed), this fake memory, together with the actual second it takes for the handle to jump to the next second, will be a long enough amount of time for you to notice the second feeling longer than it should be. This is the reason we sometimes look at a clock and feel it was stuck and just started ticking again after we began looking at it. I don’t know about you, but I used to wonder why that first second usually seemed to take longer, but after learning why, my wonder turned to amazement over how cool our brain can be sometimes! Sidenote: my brain is responsible to writing this comment.... it just called itself cool and amazing.... kinda cringe to brag like that...... (but at least it’s self aware about it)

Velocity is a vector meaning it’s directional, so if one train was going 10 m/s north and another was going 10 m/s south, they would experience time the same, despite having different velocities. So it is actually speed that’s important. (If you want to get technical it’s speed in relation to time which is distance, so technically it’s distance that’s important.)
The velocities are the same in your explanation. The direction is changed though. If the velocity was changed then it would a different story. I don't think direction makes much of a difference to velocity.

Technically, objects traveling at different velocities can experience time the same. Velocity is a vector meaning it’s directional, so if one train was going 10 m/s north and another was going 10 m/s south, they would experience time the same, despite having different velocities. So it is actually speed that’s important. (If you want to get technical it’s speed in relation to time which is distance, so technically it’s distance that’s important.)

The velocities are the same in your explanation. The direction is changed though. If the velocity was changed then it would a different story. I don't think direction makes much of a difference to velocity.
