I've got 2 scrapes in my woods right now like this. They're both about 4-5 feet long and 3 feet' wide. Both are 3-4 inches deep. Huge tracks in each. The odd thing is there are no buck rubs anywhere near the scrapes. Both are near the record acorn dropping oaks. Saw a monster Sat but too far to shoot.
I know what you mean , I saw the same thing before . My guess is some bucks don't rub much and or rub in a different area . Young bucks seem to rub all over the place .

@@copperjacket00 1st time in 17 yrs that Ive seen only a handful of rubs but many scrapes. And all of the scrapes have huge tracks in them.
That is a big one, someone spends a lot of time there!
yup I had that thought as well , But I must ignore the big buck fever and stick to my first hunting spot first .
