It’s not old Indian trick. You are neither lying or bsing
Thank you
your welcome , Check out my playlist on hunting and stay tuned I'm just getting started
I have found rubbing on me just before I crawl into bed, works also
How many rounds can you fit in the gun
I believe it was 4 counting the one in the chamber with that clip , you might be able to get bigger clip .
@copperjacket00 have you tried the stock sights on it??? If so... how did u like it
@@riverrivers250 finally some one asking about the sights , thank you . the stock sights are peep sights which I hate . not accurate enough for my taste , So I used a scope in the video . But that gun for me will be used up in trees hunting deer and close thick woods almost like a bow . So I look online for better iron sights , expensive until I found the measurements is so close to Glock sights . So I made a video. type [savage scout rifle with Glock sights 7.62 x 39 ]
@@copperjacket00 nice.. okay.. been wanting to get a rifle in the 762x39 round… ive got an sks for plinking! Sights are horrible on it lol… ive been eyeing this scout rifle. Used.. the guy whose selling it also has a scope mounted on it
There is a time to sit and a time to move. I've used blowdowns, root balls, and what nature has provided to hunker down or when on the move I've taken a knee behind a tree just to make myself smaller and harder to see. It's all in how the moments present the opportunity. I've also been just standing still trying to figure out what is going on and had deer run up to me and blow.
I can tell , Your a good hunter
@@copperjacket00 I've been humbled this season and had to take a knee in recognition that I know nothing.
I think your on to something
The pictures of the dead leaves are powerful. Oh yea nice buck.
An old indian trail cam would have been nice.
I'm going to have to try to get it on video 👍
Hunters know
Good on ya for thinking about the safety of riders.
thank you sir , And so simple I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner . Now we know what to do with those old gas jugs 👍
My mother was born in Barrington.
just down the road , Cool
Hi Copperjacket. Have issues with igniting primers on rounds from 4 different manufactories, all are surplus, all have been purchased for my sks, and so far have worked with it perfectly without any misfires. Using same rounds on my Savage, I have to cock bolt twice on 95% of them. Have you faced with this issue, and do you have a solution for it other than buying expensive hunting ammo?
Howdy, Long time since I had that gun out , I believe its 3 rounds + 1 in the chamber so put one in the chamber 1rst then slap in your 3 round mag . I have used many brands of ammo had no issues . Used cheap china ammo no issues But it was not old ammo . Don't know who makes longer mags ? Might have to go custom there, I bought the gun for tree stand hunting in thick woods for deer + cheap ammo for coyotes ,But older now done climbing trees so I switched to 308. 👍
@@copperjacket00 Thanks.
Thanks for your videos about this model, just purchased it from private sale, and now trying to eliminate several technical/mechanical issues.
Hi Copperjacket00. Just purchased same rifle from private sale. Have several questions, and, as experienced owner of same model, you might know answers. Have issues with loading 4 rounds, mag capacity is only 3, whereas SAVAGE ARMS statement that it is 4 round capacity mag. Is it only my personal mag issues, or all of them are same? Have issues with igniting primers on rounds from 4 different manufactories, all are surplus, all have been purchased for my sks, and so far have worked with it perfectly without any misfires. Using same rounds on my Savage, I have to cock bolt twice on 95% of them. Have you faced with this issue, and do you have a solution for it other than buying expensive hunting ammo? Would like to purchase at lease one more magazine, preferably with higher capacity. Do you know the original magazine sku number (or whatever number I may use) to buy mags online?
Good little review man, thanks for taking the time, there isn't a whole lot of info on these saw online.
That sounds like a robin singing in background? Chip Cheerio cheery-ee
nice hack..
thank you
Creepy stuff for sure
Best to leave it alone, say a prayer for poor souls and go work on a deer stand for next season.
ha ha Your right , That's my thinking . You read my mind .
Very cool, i would recommend doing some research online about these graves, the history of the area around the property and its previous owners, you may be able to find some interesting information about them! Edit: it also seems to be a family grave site, a family probably lived on that property way back and that was where they buried their loved ones.
More info on dealing with big rocks in the playlist
great video thanks so cool🤠👍
more info on big rocks in the playlist , thanks for stopping by
nice
Anyone ever ask how you got an Indian to tell you how they did anything ? Or why? Just curious
Back in the 70's a few old guys use to sit around and tell hunting stories , I was just a young boy But I listened. Hunting was big back then
@@copperjacket00 I see that’s the way good job sir
I have plenty of videos and pics from trail cams were the bottled stuff spooks mature bucks.
thanks for info
I was so scared But I could not show it . My only daughter . Everybody on the planet has to go first before my daughter !
Dam is ye off his meds 😊
real hunters dont need to bait learn how to read sign
Right
Put your sent all over locking branch😅
That is some great tips, and I myself trapped until the fur market went south in the early 80s. Most of my trapping were water sets though! Actually I started hunting whitetail in 1980 and never thought of using this one. The sad thing is, I do remember reading about this in Fur Fish and Game! Thanks for jarring my memory!!!
this is weird , this video was 40 views yesterday and 33 views today ????? How do I lose views ???? TH-cam subtracted 7 views . So I guess youtube not only demonetized video's they de view them too ????? weird
One important item of clothes I carry in is a 5 or 6 ft wool scarf to wrap around my neck and the tag ends across my chest, and you will feel toasty warm in no time at all and good for an all-day stand for deer hunting. Carry with you those hand heaters for even more cold protection for your hands. I harvested 54 deer so far thanks to being comfortable and warm. One more tip is to get rid of your rifle sling unless you are traveling through the woods in the dark. The sling will cost you a few deer because your rifle is over your shoulder and not ready for a shot. Yes, I learnt the hard way three times.
I feel ya. They tax the shit out of us and give the money away to other countries while we have more and more tent cities popping up here. Its ridiculous
I have some acquaintances who like to vote left. They want the government to do more. I have always said the best social program is tax reductions. Leave our money in our pockets. If its not necessary for the functioning of our society like roads, health, water, sewage, and utility infrastructure don't spend on it. If you like to go see hockey games...pay for your own rink. If a business is not viable then its not needed don't subsidize it. We can then pay for what we need and create needed jobs. Dislike the left and the right and the middle LOL because governments always get it wrong. They tax us and inefficiently deliver services and then hand the remainder to their friends. The only thing that changes between governments is who the friends are.
Ditto USA blue states specially
I think the issue is everywhere.
They say some of the biggest deer in eastern north America come from N.S.
Omg…🤦🏻♂️
I wonder how much you can press? 300?
yeah I look beefie , That's cause all those logs I keep lifting ha ha
A few other things to do..... Wash all your clothes with unscented soap and cover the end of the muzzle with some electrical tape to keep moisture out. Deer detect movement and it's difficult to sit still for a long time. I take a memory foam pad to sit on which keeps me from getting fidgety after sitting for a long time.
You know , don't ya . Yes you been there . Thanks for your comment . Excellent
Man that a lot of noyes 😊
Hahaha! These people sure gained respect once the cuffs went on. I have to wonder how they had the intelligence to earn a living , much less enough money to buy a njce home like that😊
My guys out here creating deer wars lol.
Indians weren't interested in the antlers come on man
They must have smelled. Yeah, I didn't see any deer.
WTF?
A 15 minute wsste of time, zero help
Ok this is good but i tell you some thing that works better you can try it after deer season to see what you get on your game cam you make a fake scrap and pee in it deer dont know people pee from any other pee and a buck is going to try to over mark your sent the more pee you put on the scrap the bigger you appear to him its also a old Indian trick
When the white man says this is an old Indian trick hahaha wtf der bud. 😮 We never used that shit
I never touch the branches above a scrape! Human sent will kill your chances on that scrape.
