Great video Jason. Really cool to see what you look for when prospecting. And you got some gold. Been nursing my back for a while here but should be able to go soon to my creek. I just hope I can find a can holder on a tree like you did. Holy Wa, lol. Thanks for the video and cobbles to ya 🍻

Nice job Jason yes moving around is where it’s at. Sometimes we get so complacent about plopping down in one area and we think it’s there and it ends up not being there and usually the last part of the day is where you find the gold. it’s kind of funny at least that’s how it happens for me and Tye looks like a nice place and like you said I can’t wait till the water goes down because we sure miss all that exposed gravel and good gold but it will be interesting to see how mother nature deposited during flood stage. Have a good one Out for now⛏️⛏️✨👍✨
What a cool cedar swamp, and yeah that looked like a pain in the ars to move through, cool spot on the bedrock, look forward to seeing what your able to pull out of there
The metal detector might give you a time line of that bridge area. That clearing could of been loggers taking cedar. Can you dredge on private property? If he has the mineral rights it could be done🤔
Definitely explore that bedrock spot! Maybe even crevice the spot above the creek and peel some moss the creek perhaps used to be located up there and big floods could have trapped gold in the cracks way up from the creek bottom.
Oh, that was a good video. I’ve never been too excited on prospecting in a creek that does not have Highbanks or high hillsides. Gotta have somewhere that the gold come from.
