Living in the western New York area half hour south of buffalo... i spent 5 hours digging out some nice cracks and fissures going across a creek near my home to be rewarded with 5 tiny specs... great video Jason.. dont forget to reward yourself with a cool beverage..

Her eyes lit up when she saw it and man if a look had words when you tossed it... lol she would have said some uncharitable things. So funny. I guessed it was "tosserite" since it looked too big for a postal box. Great video as always!
So hunt for the black sand. I tie a nice strong ring magnet to a piece of 1/4" cord and drag it through promising looking areas. If I find a lot lf mags, I know heavies concentrate there. Find an area, then spot all around it to see where the higiher concentrations are.

Excellent time on the creek. Really enjoy watching. We have a vacation property on a creek. We just got up here for a week. Hoping to try some panning. I have no clue if there is gold in our canyon area. There is futher west in the mountains in Cripple Creek. Love seeing the 3 dogs helping find the gold. ❤🎉

At least with the VDR mat you will get almost every speck. Can definitely see why prospectors called it "gold dust". The snack time segments made me hungry too. Its hard to beat the venturi affect of a French riffle. . You have to have enough flow to get vtge materials to flow backwards towards the riffle. This sorting action sucks up gold so fine you can't see it. French style riffles. Chase bedrock under large Boulders
Id be sniping bedrock in a wetsuit and mask and snorkel. Bresk opn som crach in any bedrock. All the nuggets will be on and in the cracks of the bedrock. Gold displaces other things and fills even the thinnest cracks. . Sniping can be very productive even in shallow water
How do you keep the ticks off the puppies? I go out for an hour walk, and I'm picking two ticks off my dog. I'm up in the u.p. now but before I live in milwaukee. So before this, I've never seen a tick ever before. They are ugly bugs!
