4:24 -- this is what I always loved about poise, it removes options from opponents. Roll? Attack is timed for panic roll. Attack? Get smacked, like this wizard. You either have to keep calm and time the roll. They can only do one predictable thing, and all the unpredictable options predictably lead to death.
Viewer challenge: Flail kill. I thought about saying "Spinning Chain with Electrify Armament kill" or "Offhand Flail with mainhand Serpent Hunter" or even "Spinning Weapon", but honestly, flails are hard enough to play as it is, and I'll be happy with any kind of flail kill, even if it's just a weapon swap after a parry.
(Also, just saying, but that parry on the streamer at 10:05 was extra-satisfying. I have PTSD from the early days of dual wield seppukku setups, so that was cathartic).
I looked them up. As far as I can tell, they aren't actually a streamer. Same with the YT dude. (Though their name is so generic that I just couldn't find it)

Elden Ring: Sleep Paralysis is So Strong on St. Trina’s Torch
Will u ever try Mohg’s great rune? It’s always fun to see u buffing enemies and working with them, and what better buff than Mohg’s!
Also sleep torch.
The mohgs rune doesn't do much. It gives enemies the Blessing of Blood, which all that does is heals you if one of your blessed allies kills an enemy, and it gives them the effect of wearing the white mask/lord of bloods exultation. So for an invader, the only way to get benefits without the npcs killing your target is use a bleed build, and that benefit just makes it so the NPCs have a 10% easier time killing your target for you.

Storm stomp stun is nice but there's a longer stun you can apply to opponents by using an item you have probably never thought to use yet, the St Trina's Torch.

I think more than anything I’m pressed with how smoothly you navigate the menus. It’s impressive and a requisite skill to playing any of your builds.
Great hammers are fun with wild strikes. Can get two hits off for free and then can roll catch with an R1 on react. Can be started with running R1 into R1, L2. Winged talisman helps a lot. Frost might be a good option too
I would love to see ChaseTheBro in pvp tournaments

@Chasethebro do you have a recommendation for how to set the “Manual Attack Aiming” option? Are you using that? Thoughts?
It always kind of surprises me how long Chase was sleeping on the horizontal heavy attack of greatswords. It is exceptionally good when outnumbered due to the wide sweeping pattern, hence I always prefered it over the Claymore thrust even long before they buffed the speed of it. It is just so much more versatile and useful in invasions scenario in my opinion.

how about a invasion with godskin peeler + godskin stitcher they do well together, for fashion i use carian knight helm + beast champion armor + beast champion gloves + royal knight leggings and i have to say royal knight leggings looks fantastic with beast champion armor
@chasethebro hey will you do a perfect hand to hand "goku" build and perfect the gameplay? I wanna see it used efficiently in pvp and i sadly cant play the game right now or id be "in the lab". Bonus if you can get some fancy kamehameha finishers

I personally like to follow up the stomp with the omen cleaver/Butchering Knife heavy attack
If it’s possible I would recommend swapping to the crimson dagger talismen on parries. Since it gives you back health for the riposte.

And when I win, the host disconnects). So I wanted to ask is this ok to lose this, because looking at you I feel that I am doing something wrong not winning every invasion. He's many years deep in souls pvp gameplay. And he does loose occasionally, but it's pretty rare. There was a loss a couple of weeks ago.

I've played like 600 hours and seeing Brad just walk behind it blew my mind
yes, you can actually space the attacks pretty well even if the avatar is spamming this attack, ofc you have to position yourself well
I've fought the dragonbarrow avatar so many times at low levels that i have everything ingrained in my brain
also, having said that, i forgot to mention that it actually isn't the best idea to always walk completely behind it
if the avatar actually starts spamming this attack you'll quickly run out of space to stand
instead just go to his side, right around the edge of his rot attack, you always circle around the avatar without the risk of running into the rot attack
