what's the soft cap for poise in pvp? do you even need passive poise if you're using a colossal, and what about fast weapons? after days of fighting malenia I got addicted to light load and drip is a high priority for me, it's torture finding a balance for pvp
@@HaVoKxii After recent update you need a astronomical amout of passive to be effective, its all about hyper armor now and depends on the weapon, for most of the normal weapons 41 with a bullgoat talismen or 73 without is enought to trade using hyper armor for a regular sword
@wessavage8253 that's where I'm confused, with 1.10 since you get a lot of poise during attacks, wouldn't that make passive poise effectively useless? from what I read, max poise was essentially required pre .10 otherwise you would get staggered out of everything

Also chase, i just thought about this. If you identify latency with a wave of gold enjoyer, try jumping straight over the wave. I do it often and it seems to work pretty well for me. Main time it doesnt is when the hitbox gets in front of the animation, which fortunatley is rare.

By the way, the Rapier is the weapon that deals the second most amount of critical damage just behind the Misericorde, and it's fairly close. No other weapons even really compare, so you'll actually end up doing less damage swapping to something like a Zweihander for a Riposte than you would if you just used the Rapier instead, due to it innately high critical modifier and Motion Values it has on Backstabs and Ripostes.
Towards the latter end of DS3 you ran this build all the time. Whenever I saw that witch hat I knew I was in the presence of a booty enjoyer. My first time ever getting invaded by you in DS3 you caestus parried literally my first swing
3:12 the back step into an immediate turn around back step into the back stab was ridiculous. Can this only be done on keyboard? I use a controller bc this game plays really well with one, but that flicking of the joystick seems tricky to do so quickly and fluidly.
The defense talisman isn’t going to really help if you’ve also got a bubble up. You take a little damage when they break the bubble then the talisman isnt working anymore
Will you continue invading on 125 when the dlc drops or switch between different character levels? Just asking because we got the news that the dlc might have content difficulty of the "2nd half of the main game". So i guess Mountaintops and everything after? cheers
