what's the soft cap for poise in pvp? do you even need passive poise if you're using a colossal, and what about fast weapons? after days of fighting malenia I got addicted to light load and drip is a high priority for me, it's torture finding a balance for pvp
@@HaVoKxii After recent update you need a astronomical amout of passive to be effective, its all about hyper armor now and depends on the weapon, for most of the normal weapons 41 with a bullgoat talismen or 73 without is enought to trade using hyper armor for a regular sword
@wessavage8253 that's where I'm confused, with 1.10 since you get a lot of poise during attacks, wouldn't that make passive poise effectively useless? from what I read, max poise was essentially required pre .10 otherwise you would get staggered out of everything

You know what i would enjoy? A compilation of hosts you invade that have a respectable amount of hp, like that ~1700 hp gigachad wizard fighting the 1v2 in that last invasion. Then again, asking Chase to invade thousands of times just to get enough content for 1 video is probably pretty unreasonable, huh?
Also chase, i just thought about this. If you identify latency with a wave of gold enjoyer, try jumping straight over the wave. I do it often and it seems to work pretty well for me. Main time it doesnt is when the hitbox gets in front of the animation, which fortunatley is rare.

By the way, the Rapier is the weapon that deals the second most amount of critical damage just behind the Misericorde, and it's fairly close. No other weapons even really compare, so you'll actually end up doing less damage swapping to something like a Zweihander for a Riposte than you would if you just used the Rapier instead, due to it innately high critical modifier and Motion Values it has on Backstabs and Ripostes.
Honestly the slow jog to the side with the three bowmen was my most favorite part. So Thropps barrier actually adds to the parry window as well as parrying magic?

im very much enjoying the fact that hundreds of thousands of nooblets are gonna be going into the DLC with less than 900 health on NG+ and up they arent going to stand a fucking chance, and im sure fromsoft is going to be preparing for people that use ALL sorts of builds, i wanna see more spell reflections, enemies that cant be staggerlocked/bleeded, or have attacks that are so fast that you cant commit to a long attack animation unless it provides a lot of hyper armour or poise. best way to render a build useless, do anything to prevent the use of tapping one button repeatedly in a row.
Being a blue is fun, I surely will get a bunch of summons since I always get invaded while cooping. Reality: 14:07 after half an hour waiting just to get parried and go back to waiting lmao
The defense talisman isn’t going to really help if you’ve also got a bubble up. You take a little damage when they break the bubble then the talisman isnt working anymore
