Lmao I was hoping someone would find a new rune farm that’s actually viable past level 150. The OG rune farm is just too slow after a certain point
Edit: I get it, the original farm is better, but only if you have a weapon that can kill all of the Albinaurics quickly enough. For anyone who isn’t on NG+ with the sacred sword, this method is probably better
Idk dude I'm like 207 or something and I go to that ledge grace in Mohgwyns kill on those little Rolley dudes on the hill with the golden rune talisman and I'm getting 60,000 a pop and quickly with runes great sword
I don’t have a weapon that’s able to kill all of them quickly enough for it to be worth it. This method would be faster for my build

It’s really not tho. I’ve tried this one and the og one. This one’s faster although yes it is less reliable. Easier to do while drunk/high or some shit tho.

Wave of gold in vanilla game near Mohg is still superior. Use wave of gold, kill frogs, teleport to rest as game loads fast
But it requires them to beat the last boss in order to be efficient. Which means they need to have 99 on all stats alongside a Mimic Tear for them to be able to beat Godfrey, Radagon, and the Elden Beast. Which also means they need to Rune Farm prior to that. 😅

I timed this out. (Edited after more rigorous testing.) Here are my results:
*For reference:* This was on NG, with the Gold Scarab talisman and Gold Pickled Fowl Foot. Also, the times are approximations since the runs aren't always perfect.
*Rauh Ancient Ruins East Furnace Golem:* (same as in the video, which gave the best results) approx. 69000 runes per minute.
*Mohg Palace Approach, Bird:* Between 63000-68000 runes per minute.
*Mohg Palace Approach, Abinaurics with SRS:* approx. 193849 runes per minute.
Conclusion: The albinaurics are still unquestionably the best rune farm. The furnace golem farm does seem to be marginally faster than the bird, however, although with the amount of runes you gain in just one run I'm not sure that margin is large enough to matter much. The main appeal of using the furnace golem is that it's simpler than having to shoot the bird.

@@Bittamin You want to run up to the rocks next to the pillar and stand as close to the edge of the rock as possible without falling down on the stairs. Use your fowl foot _or_ gold tender (not both) just when the golem starts firing up. As soon as you see the fire whirl, sprint back to the grace and rest practically as soon as you reach the it. Then, rest again right away and run back. This should give the best results, and your buff should run out just as it's time to run back and repeat the process.
I farmed the golem bridge for quite some time, collecting nine million runes, because I wanted to be as strong as possible to fight Messmer. The biggest issue, I found, is remembering to rest twice, which seems simple but with the tedium of doing this for a long time, it's actually very easy to slip up and forget. I didn't count the times I did or anything, but I must have missed out on hundreds of thousands of runes that way.
Also be advised, that spiral fire attack DOES HAVE RANGE, it can almost snipe you at the site of grace.

Mohg palace is still the most runes/minute if youve got sacred relic sword, and probably still pretty good if youre just using dragon breath

The Palace Approach Road rune farm yields 7.2 million runes/hr if you have Sacred Relic Sword + Gold Scarab. This is not counting shooting the bird below, which yields around 13,000.

@@samjackson5859 Just leaving the grace, going to the rock with the vague arrow on it, three swings toward the center, shoot the bird, then back to the grace. When I wasn't shooting the bird, I found I could average about 2.5 times/minute.
@@kizmo2317 Just hitting the guys up top I can do 6 runs per minute. How much are you getting per kill without the scarab? On NG+2 (thought I was on 1) I get 4497xp. Tested again and its 1 run per 10 secs. Leave the poor bird alone :) One swing from the top of the rock is enough to hit almost everything.
@@samjackson5859 Just checked. On NG, without the scarab and doing 3 swings only, I'm getting around 36.000+.
@@kizmo2317 I feel like something is being missed. You should be getting a lot more xp than that. Each NG cycle gives a minimal gain in xp. For these enemies on the approach on NG+2 I was getting 4497xp per kill with no bonus. For each kill on NG+3 I get 4599. Just over 100xp only. For one swing, not three, I get almost all the enemies killed and receive approx. 75k xp with no buffs.

Bro you made those jumps in the shadow keep seem way easier than they are.
FYI. If you do this right away be warned. Once you cross the second bridge something happens and the world state will change. Meaning all NPC’s will move from their starting locations to their second locations. So if you missed talking to any of them potentially you will be locked out of their quest lines. Also approaching the Shadow Keep triggers this change too. So I recommend talking to all the NPC’s first before doing this.

There’s a teleport above the castle where you fight Rellana that is accessible way quicker from Scadu Altus where the river meets the castle. This takes way less time.

This farm I noticed yeah change it to night every time and gives more least for me it does pass to night after each one
U forget to mention this puts all NPCs into phase 2 of story including 1s u haven’t meet yet so u might want skip this if having found shadow keep already

For rune farm, use the end game weapon to wipe out all of the grey mobs in the chicken farm area and you get $40k per run takes 10 seconds chicken only gives $15k

btw i didnt know this when i was following the guide THERE IS A POINT of no return for the story before you hit shadow keep where it says a great rune has been broken and it advances your stories so be careful about doing this farm if you want to enjoy some of the npcs

Hey think this brakes the npc summons at the stage front and lords chambers. So if your gonna farm be ready to deal with that
NOTE OF CAUTION: If you havne't beaten Renalla and are trying to use the summon to the left of the door he will no longer be available to you if you do this getting the "A seal has broken" message due to a great rune being broken.

I've been passing time, morning - noon - night, then repeat instead of resting at the Grace. It's been giving me 35-45 thousand per run.
Edit: just resting 2 times fully respawns the enemies and I topped at 50k in one run.
Of course I stumble upon this AFTER I kill all the furnace golems 😂
Be advised, by traveling on his path, you will inadvertently progress the story as I received a message going past The Bridge Leading to the Village Site of Grace! I have no idea what implication that has on the story and quest but to be honest, this rune farm seems worth it anyway 😂

I've always found palace approach site of of grace to be the most broken rune farm personally...you get up from the grace, shoot a big crow, get about 30 thousand runes then rest again and repeat..you only have to shoot the bird once and it runs off the cliff and dies lmao
just use the sacred relic sword on the Albinaurics and its like 4x better than the bird
For those who want to know, after some testing I learned that Mohgwyn Palace farm works about twice as well per 5 minutes, but only if you are using Sacred Relic Sword. Doing a rough test, in about 5 minutes I made around 320,000k runes doing this strat, and 620,000k runes with Mohgwyn Palace strat. This being said, this strat is most likely better if you don't have Sacred Relic Sword. In conclusion, you should use this strat if you can't do the optimal Mohgwyn Palace strat, but use the Mohgwyn Palace strat if you have the Sacred Relic Sword.
Extraneous details: I was using Gold Scarab on both, and was using +10 Sacred Relic Sword, on Mohgwyn Palace, and I didn't bother to shoot the bird to make it fall off.
I don't have the relic sword so is this better then shooting the bird?

Gotta get the golden feet and golden horns then stack with the beetle talisman and farm the sad guys. I get 100k runes every run which is like 30s.
Golden foot and horn don’t stack sadly, but the golden horn is about 10% better then the foot, so just use that from now on
@@crashdummyfreed9088 are you sure? I have two buffs going. Either way, the golden horn and sad guys farm is way better. I get 8.5k runes from each kill on NG+1
@@ViciousVis one of those buffs is from the scarab talisman itself, the other is from either the horn or foot

Golden Foot and Horns don't stack. Tried it yesterday.
Just use the horns. On NG+4 I was getting around 9.5k per kill, with the Foot I was getting around 7k.

You can get over a mil with the relic sword and the little dudes on the ledge. It’s a 5-10 second run to get atleast 20-25k runes without a talisman or picked foot
Correct, but not everyone has the relic sword/the stats to wield it. This is merely an alternative way of doing it, the more rune farm options the better 👍
On NG+1 for me it’s 87k with the golden scarab

It's the best that I've seen myself or online, in the DLC. Using the word "best" is not incorrect. I'd imagine the "16 hours ago" next to the title and view count, as well as the Shadow of the Erdtree in the thumbnail, clearly shows people it's not only new, but a DLC rune farm. Simple stuff here man 👍

The hill top in the main game gets me 130,000 in 20 seconds
If you rush here at the start you get locked out of NPC quests.
The bird method is still faster. Was hpoing we'd have a better method by now.
The best is still mohgs using the sacred sword abd not the bird but al the guys down the hill u get 95000 in 5 seconds and run back so u gwt a 1000000 every minute if ur fast and ita easier...im lvl 405 ng+2

Curious, wouldnt it be better to NOT level your character since it scales from that in dlc? Im 303 and have just completely ignored leveling and my runes and focused on finding the blessings.
It doesn't scale with levels, that's just a myth. It doesn't say that anywhere. The enemies are just stronger. Over leveled people are still stronger than everyone else, scadutree fragments just boost your stats by 5%.

You can use dex talismans like miliscents prosthesis, the heirloom or sorseal. Anyone should be able to use it.

People are looking for new content on the new DLC that has literally been out 3 days, SotE is obviously the current focus in the Elden Ring community.
This, as far as I'm aware/have found myself/seen online, is THE BEST rune farm you can currently find in the DLC, that is in no way clickbait, no matter how much you want it to be. To say it's the same as old clickbait videos that neglected to state how long it took, when it quite literally has the timeframe in the thumbnail AND the title of the video, is the biggest reach I've seen.

guys i've just tested this (only golden scarab) and the mogh farm gives me 40k while this one gets me 32k but double the time
It is definitely not double the time XD and I’ve also tested both and get about 50k from mogh and an average of 80k from this one. Ng+3.

Those who killed the furnace golem
The best rune farm is players who support other players. I’ve ran into a lot of players who don’t even use their collected runes. Just give them away. People have to work. Don’t have all day to grind for runes. I only play two hours on a good day three hours.
Mohg palace is still better. You can get over double the souls here for the same amount of time requirement.

@@the2Atreeclimber he'll eventually fall off the edge just by trying to move towards yu while yur waiting at the grace if he aggros at a distance. Didn't know he aggro while I was afk for a few min and come back to getting runes when he fell.

@@Flavoree go to Palace Approach Ledge Road Site of Grace in Moghwyn palace and use Sacred Relic Blade Ash of war to kill all the mobs there in one swing, rinse and repeat
