Do not attempt to modify your BMW in this way, You'll probably damage it...
Tutorial on how to change the kidney grills, add splitters, change lights (nope) and add a boot spoiler. These subtle and cost-effective changes make all the difference to this BMW.

Despite the numerous mistakes, I did like the front splitters and the headlights a lot. I find it kind of funny how this entire video is a “do as I say, not as I do” kind of video LOL

If you don't have the tools, time and/or patience to do it properly, then it's not worth doing it. It looked good at the end, but ffs, you didn't even clean the front bumper before sticking the splitters on it. 🤣

I have a feeling a lot of these 'critic' commenters don't even own a car to begin with. All these things people are commenting that these parts are rice, problem is everything is pretty much oem design, just not overcharged bmw price tag crap. Fitment looks fine aswell, what the hell you guys on about?
Chrome is getting outdated, and you can get black kindey grills factory. The paint looks mismatched because the car is dirty. Also double sided tape instead of drilling into the damn metal and paint is becoming a factory thing too.
The only real valid complaint I can understand is that the guy didn't wash the car, but I would say his taste is a lot better than 80% of real hands on car people I know.
Can I also add that he's giving cheap alternatives to save money? Owning a car he can't afford, really? Can't someone enjoy something they've achieved to get with still saving extra money? Grow up.

In contrast to most of the other people here in the comments, I got great entertainment from this and even some info about how hard it is to switch the front air inlet, thanks :D
It's actually pretty easy if you just remove the air inlet cover before the snorkel. It's two plastic rivets and 2 t-20 torx bolts. Then you can reach the grill release clips properly. It's how to install air scoops as well.
I dont get why everyones hating on this guy. Yes, the splitters may be a tad much on an otherwise stock car and he may have half assed the installs but who really gives a shit? I mean really, hes not doing it to your car and in the video he tells others to take more care when they do it so what difference does it make?

Looks okay I liked the chrome grills better looked better with the blue .
Yea it's personal opinion really. The chrome is actually ok on the blue. I really like the gloss black on black. I did an e60 that was SE and with the SE bumper it didn't look good so i took them back off again and put the chrome on. SEE: th-cam.com/video/d4gVp_4O2kc/w-d-xo.html
It was fun to watch this video, for sure the part with the kidney grills, I will buy a BMW 520d, 525d or 530d when I turn 18 in 10 months. Would be nice to have one of those as a first car, I will def try those mods out because they aren't that expensive and they look good. You got my like :). Have a nice day, from the Netherlands!

It will look a whole lot better again with the chrome/aluminium around the windows either painted black or wrapped.

On my e90 you could put your fingers through the grill and unclip it rather than having to go all hulk smash. Could be the same on the e92
