    Thank you for sharing. Nice video. What month did you visit? What time of day did you start your advent to Hoover Dam and then onto see the West Rim of the Grand Canyon? Trying your an idea about how much time is needed to do this trip from Las Vegas? Thanks again!

      Hello Cindy l, we went in the month of November and left vegas around 8am because we had to wait for our rental car to be ready. I suggest if you’re using a rental that you pick this up the day before so you can leave early and have plenty of time at the West Rim. We has to cut our tour short as we wanted to leave before sun set. We left at around 4pm at West rim and felt rushed.Safe travels!

    Nice VLOG guys! I am planning to do the exact same route in June. Do you have any advices on recommended rental companies? And what to prepare like parking fees/tolls etc.? :)

    • @CaiandDee
      @CaiandDee  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching our video. We just went with Budget/Avis renal car as we were able to use our airpoints to pay for some of the car rental cost. There were no tolls in the route we took. At Hoover dam though there is a parking fee where we parked that was $10 as its the most convenient place to park. There is a free parking area but you have to go all the way up to drive pass the damn then walk back to see the attractions. Wasn’t practical and was too hot to walk then. At the Grand Canyon West Rim parking is free though. Have a lovely drive and safe travels! 😁

    Ooh, I'm planning to drive too from Vegas to West rim b/c its the shortest drive, but nervous if there are cliffs that you have to drive by 😅. I'm totally not doing the hoover dam for this reason. Is there a pretty straightforward, flat drive to Grand Canyon or is the dam on the way to the west rim lol? Cant do heights.

    • @CaiandDee
      @CaiandDee  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The drive to the West Rim is pretty flat. When you get to West Rim they make you park in their carpark and the windy roads are left for the tour buses that picks you up at the entrance. Safe travels

    How long was the drive?

    • @CaiandDee
      @CaiandDee  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Took us 4 hours one way to get to the West Rim coz we had stop overs. If you drive straight to West Rim its about 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours. Safe travels
