I have a theory as to why the queen in kotm didn't attack godzilla and why she didn't become the next prime. What if after the Civil War the remaining female mutos that lost but didn't die, instead lost the ability to reproduce and basically became queen mutos, and the reason the queen muto we saw didn't attack godzilla is because queen mutos are hard wired to serve a superior titan like a muto prime but since there was no other muto primes left the queen just decided to follow the current alpha which is godzilla.
Theory: What if the MUTO queen from KoM was a MUTO that betrays her kind by serving under Godzilla to protect her own skin from the civil war and the reason why she can't become a prime is because Godzilla wouldn't allow her.
I gotta say, the Mutos are massively underrated. Easily the Monsterverse's coolest original kaiju, in my opinion. I love their silhouette and just the way that they're built. Their sounds are so clear in my head as well, just love everything about them
I still think MUTOS would be an interesting match-up against the old American ‘Zilla’ from back in the day, which itself felt something akin to an invasive species itself. The MUTOS would probably eviscerate Zilla, but it would still be an interesting comparison!
The mutos would definitely win. Zilla is both smaller and weaker than 2014 monsterverse Godzilla, didn’t have much in terms of abilities, eventually was killed by the military, and its overall regarded as one of the weakest. The mutos would pulverize poor old zilla.
I want to point this out too, but the female and male shouldn't (or rather don't) mate in the traditional sense. This is because they are actually siblings and share the same genetic data. Like you said, the male more or less serves as a hunter and guard dog for the nest instead of actually providing genetic data. I also like to think that the MUTO's act like Earth's natural bacteria for the Titans, breaking down the waste after they die. Godzilla acts as the overseer, keeping them from growing out of control.
Plenty of invertebrate animals have sibling mating, especially ones that have very limited ability to spread. Fig wasps are the first example that comes to mind.
stage 6: Fertilized-female-muto goo themselves adjacent to mated-dead-males prior to molting; later, consuming the male's remains to begin expanding her new-skeletal-shell while soft and pliant; her old-shell and a meconium remain for spawn to home-in or consume, expanding their territory, consuming the mother's exoskeleton and native resources.
I kinda like to imagine that under the right circumstatioms a male mute also could tranform into something stronger but that it happends much rarer . They could have a protector role of some kind . I rly ask me how a mal muto prima would look like
Probably look like something from one of the unused Muto concept art, where a male Muto Prime might have a larger Pterosaur like wings, it would still be Smaller than a female Muto Prime though
I would love to have a What If series for the MonsterVerse. I can see them making an episode like this but with a twist, the MUTO’s have completely taken over the world and all that’s left is Emma Russell an Alan Jonah in a Monarch bunker. And they have to free Ghidorah and Kong to stop the MUTO apocalypse.
I get the feeling that the MUTO Prime is actually the final stage of the _male_ MUTO, and it was the consort to the MUTO Queen. Alternatively, the MUTO Queen is the progenitor of the MUTO Prime, which is what hatched from the eggs laid by the female, having long since grown infertile due to age. The second option carries with it a kind of funny connection to the Alien Franchise's Facehugger, considering the MUTO Prime's only reason for existing is to deposit its eggs into a nourishing host.
Still gotta give props that even not as a MUTO Prime this Queen Muto was still expected to throw down like she was. I think this earns more bragging rights just by merit.
A FEW DAYS AGO I thought about MUTO lifecycle and found out you didn't have a video on it. I'm so so glad you made it now, it's perfect. My own theory is that Prime can birth only some semi-forms of the species, which can NEVER turn into queen - something like xenomorph's facehugger. Those are the two which we saw in the movie. They reproduce and create eggs, hatching fully evolved MUTO members, some of which can made it to the queen - and they can become a MUTO Prime, or are able to birth it
There seem to be 2 different generations of Mutos that behave differently. this exists in real life as well where parents and children look like completely different species and behave differently. That could explain why the Queen Muto did not turn into a Prime, she may have been the wrong generation to do that and as such did not have the genes active to change. If she mated and gave birth one of these Muto may turn into a Muto Prime tho
Vid suggestion: would the kaiju from pacific rim survive the hollow earth ? Since they can go portals to another world. Or how gamera and the monsters he face would survive the hollow earth ?
(Purely fanfic) Hear me out, a Male Muto prime This male would have gone threw the same thing as the prime but a bit more brutal. A group of males would compete for one goal, become the servant of the prime. Their wings would have been cut off by smaller and younger males or females and would enter a canyon big enough to hold at most 6 males. This is where the males would compete in a bloody brawl until one is left. This male will then enter in a hibernation like state but still conscious and would be able to sense the Prime so that if she is in danger he would immediately get up and sprout his newly regenerated wings and fly towards the prime. If the prime is in no danger for the nest 6 months the male would have already matured into a Male Muto Prime. Side note: To avoid killing the victor by fatal injuries all the males would target one place only, the torso. The male would look like a more matured standard Male muto but with obvious changes. He would look older, wiser like a grandpa with the same orange crystal looking armor covering his head and back and some parts of the arm to protect itself against from kaijus like mothra and rodan. It would be way bigger reaching about 320 feet tall with a wing span of over 700 feet. It would be able to match rodan's speed and tanky enough to last 10 seconds against Godzilla's atomic breath. He only has one job, to protect and aid the prime. Only resting every 7 months for only 3 hours before immediately coming back to the prime. And only when he dies when other males would repeat the cycle. Also this male instead of possessing a sonic roar like his female counterpart, he would have fists strong enough to send air pulses similar to Thermo godzilla's pulse but only going forward to avoid harming itself.
Could we see a hypothetical of what would happen if Godzilla went to Skull Island? How long would he last, or how soon would it take for him to dominate the island? (Minus Kong, obviously)
I think the Queen Muto is an abnormal mutation. Not only would this explain it's lack of evolution into a PRIME and odd growths, it would also explain why it would choose to submit to it's primary prey item. It could be a special mutation to help the species survive when the Gojira species is at a low population point, being submissive whole their prey repopulates to stay alive and let food replenish.
You wake up you find your brother/sister then y'all breed you eat your brother or if male get eaten then your children beat the crap out of each other to become the prime of their species
The MUTOs´ lifecycle is such a really interesting topic, just like a helminth or another arthropod would do, but just bigger and radioactive in this case, birth, eat, grow, breed, destroy those of your species, end.
Depends because the baby would fair alright if left alone as its only real defense we know of is its hard scaley skin and parasites but as a adult it claps the verse
The MUTO Prime thing could also just be a matter of time. Titans live a LONG time, it hasn't been very long (especially in their time scales) since the last Prime died, so the Queen just... hasn't had time to develop into a Prime. (could also be factors like pheromones, royal jelly, lack of "nests" (since only one Gojira is left), lack of males, or environmental factors like many ants, wasps, and bees will face)
I really liked the Muto in the first Godzilla, they look and act very cool. And in my opinion they are one of the most underrated kaiju in the monster-verse. And I was so happy to see them on screen after we last saw them in 2014, and I like how they where good guys now. The Muto are definitely one of my favorite kaiju from the monsters verse:
I like to imagine Muto Primes have PTSD flashbacks sometimes remembering the fact they had to massacre so many of their own kind to become the Muto Prime.
Oh my gosh, seeing a MUTO Prime inside the upcoming Godzilla TV show, or the next movie, that's something to look out for! That's an epic idea! Legendary should totally take notes or something.
Question: if the thing about the Female MUTOs eating the Male MUTOs turns out to not be the case and instead it's just something like they all end up dying in the civil war because of how weak they are compared the the Female MUTOs, would it be possible for the male to get the same sort of status as a Queen MUTO and become a King MUTO or something like that?
@@ochyt328 The final Form of the Males would be the a Keizer Theyy would need to be stronger than Prime because they would hunt for her and protect her from things like Gojiras
I have a theory about why the MUTO queen didn't (or hasn't) become a MUTO prime. What if she was making preparations for the transformation when King Ghidorah's alpha call called her away. Maybe that's why she bowed to Godzilla instead of attacking him in Boston, because if she attacked him he would have most likely killed her meaning she never transforms meaning the extinction of the MUTO species. If she was in fact the last one.
Am i the only one who wants Goji Center to do videos on creatures from the Monster Hunter franchise? There are tons of different monsters in the games and tons of possibilites! Like how would a regular non-Hunter fare against a pack of Jagras? Or who would win between the Indominus rex and a Deviljho?!
@@cedrickdupuis2647 yeah that is probably not how that works due to the fact that radiation in a belly would last a while, so there would be no true purpose for killing the male
after both the male and female is matured and out of the cacoons, the male will find radioactive items, such as nukes and bring it to the female, consuming it, there is no sexual contact between the two, only the radiation given from the nuke to the female will allow her to lay the eggs. And after the male keeps giving the female more radiation to feed to the egg/spores, it will most likely kill and eat the male as it has no purpose any longer.
Should be mentioned that MUTOs cocoons from 2014 film were found in dead gojira and according to comics this gojira was defeated 3k years ago. These MUTO parasitic cocoons depleted its radiation to death and then consumed it's corpse and it was not enough to them to be able to fully develop into titans. Then male larvae breached into nuclear power plant and female was placed in most radioactive place so they continued their development in best possible conditions without interruption. So if femuto then layed it's eggs and after hatching they ll start crawling in search of radioactive source instead of being layed directly inside another titan by Muto Prime - it would take them THOUSANDS of years to accumulate enough nutritious and radioactive energy to become mature. And then it should be repeated again with more monsters. So MUTO lifecycle would take a few hundreds years, maybe about a million to crowd earth in MUTOs, that lead to Max extinction of all other animals, like dinos extinction, and then their population reduces to nearly 1% cause lack of food, fighting other titans, and fighting other mutos for prime status. Should also be mentioned that titans fall into hibernation for thousands of years to recover its energy by natural radiation and if there are no any titans to defeat and consume its radiation. MUTOs may be able to outbreak all at once from hibernation by alpha titan signal to participate in battle royale for MUTO prime status or not to if they are too small or weak. That's how Queen MUTO survived
One thing I would rather be ghidorah than a muto since you would not need to go through the bloody muto life cycle right or would you just go through death and injurys to become a muto prime or be a very large and powerful titan that can heal everything
im pretty sure the explanation for why the other one didn't evolve into muto prime was because there was another in the ending of Godzilla king of the monsters which was named the "queen Muto"
Wanna know a fun video idea? conceptualizing how a Xenomorph would work as a Kaiju, more specifically, conceptualizing a Kaiju sized Xenomorph vs Godzilla Another fun idea would be the Titans from all factions within Warhammer 40k vs Godzilla. like how would a Emperor Class Imperial Titan, which is essentially if you merged a Battleship with a Cathedral and gave it legs, face against the G-Man? or maybe the Tyranid BioTitans vs the G-Man? The WH40K wiki says there's about 5 of them, sounds fun to see how they would stand against Godzilla.
out of my free time after watching this video, i started drawing a bit of the muto takeover, and made somewhat of a comic from it, i named it "The Muto Era", never gonna release it, but it was something i like to read by myself
When we first saw the MUTO in 2014, we absolutely underestimate these titans after learning about their capabilities and their involvement of nearly killing all the Gojira species.

Muto would’ve ended the Godzilla race definitely muto evolving
The mutos would definitely win. Zilla is both smaller and weaker than 2014 monsterverse Godzilla, didn’t have much in terms of abilities, eventually was killed by the military, and its overall regarded as one of the weakest. The mutos would pulverize poor old zilla.
Thank you for creating all this for us! I'm a big nerd and I love seeing all the content and statistics
You and me both
Imagine if there are really rare chances where a male MUTO can become a MUTO prime. Like just imagine a flying MUTO prime
Jinshinsaurus?
@@Zeno_Studios_Limited what. Maybe like a king muto or something
Maybe possible if the male muto pair died before he could mate with her so he would grow bigger himself
Tbh that would be awesome but at the same time imagine 2 muto primes female and male godzilla never gonna defeat them .
You definitely got to do a life cycle of all the kaijus it would explain so much
stage 6: Fertilized-female-muto goo themselves adjacent to mated-dead-males prior to molting; later, consuming the male's remains to begin expanding her new-skeletal-shell while soft and pliant; her old-shell and a meconium remain for spawn to home-in or consume, expanding their territory, consuming the mother's exoskeleton and native resources.
Goji center never fails to impress us with interesting topics
I kinda like to imagine that under the right circumstatioms a male mute also could tranform into something stronger but that it happends much rarer . They could have a protector role of some kind . I rly ask me how a mal muto prima would look like
Probably look like something from one of the unused Muto concept art, where a male Muto Prime might have a larger Pterosaur like wings, it would still be Smaller than a female Muto Prime though
@@curious5887 yeah something like that
Larger and stronger than Prime maybe and The Male want's revenge because Godzilla killed Prime after all
I would love to have a What If series for the MonsterVerse.
The second option carries with it a kind of funny connection to the Alien Franchise's Facehugger, considering the MUTO Prime's only reason for existing is to deposit its eggs into a nourishing host.
its like a seahorse
It was stated multiple times in godzilla aftershock that only femuto can turn into prime
Still gotta give props that even not as a MUTO Prime this Queen Muto was still expected to throw down like she was.
I think this earns more bragging rights just by merit.
One of the *BEST* Monster/Kaiju species in recent time!~❤️🖤
A FEW DAYS AGO I thought about MUTO lifecycle and found out you didn't have a video on it.
It's interesting about the lifecycles of the muto like insects and bugs they go through metamorphosis. 🕷🦋
This is very informative and i like it, there really needs to be more of these videos. 😀
(Purely fanfic)
Hear me out, a Male Muto prime
This male would have gone threw the same thing as the prime but a bit more brutal.
It might be what happens to Males since canibal Mutos is a theory
Usually I dismiss anyone who says something about a male Muto prime, but this is interesting and I would like to see it be a thing
@@thelaughingclericmuto614 The Next Comic villan the prequel to Godzilla and Kong they would both team up to end the strongest Muto?
@@cedrickdupuis2647 possibly
@@thelaughingclericmuto614 Mainly because most male muto primes are just primes that can fly and is slightly smaller
Could we see a hypothetical of what would happen if Godzilla went to Skull Island? How long would he last, or how soon would it take for him to dominate the island? (Minus Kong, obviously)
He'd probably send the whole place into a festval of chaos. Those who keep order often make chaos upon first arrival.
Thank you for your insightful breakdown on the lifecycle.
I’m actually surprised you did a MUTO episode today! Keep up with the good work
The MUTO life cycle must be the most brutal in the Monsterverse.
You wake up you find your brother/sister then y'all breed you eat your brother or if male get eaten then your children beat the crap out of each other to become the prime of their species
I love this video and the male Muto larva kinda looks like Mothra’s larva form
The MUTOs´ lifecycle is such a really interesting topic, just like a helminth or another arthropod would do, but just bigger and radioactive in this case, birth, eat, grow, breed, destroy those of your species, end.

I think it’s because Muto Queen is either findings a place to make a cocoon or still has a while to go
This was a great video 😊 we need more life cycle videos who agrees with me😊😊
I agree to you
I agree, this was an excellent vid.
Hey Gojicenter you plan on bringing back the shirt with the T-Rex skull ????
Has anyone considered the theory all MUTOs hatch male and shed their wings and change to a female after successfully breeding?
they gotta make a CGI movie of godzilla vs muto prime, man muto prime would look crazy cool
We need a prequale in the monsterverse, and we are going to see godzilla vs MUTO prime
“But that’s just a theory”
A kaiju theory 😈😈😈

Who knows
But that's just a theory.
A GOJI THEORY.

A game theory
You should make a video about what if one male survived and it somehow evolved after muto prime died
feels like I'm watching a nature documentary 2:23
so, the male muto literal killed dagon?
It was the muto prime, not the male muto
Their life cycle is similar to the Xenomorphs from the Alien series, but on a Godzilla-sized scale.
How do y'all think the Cloverfield Monster would fair in the monster-verse? Great vid btw!👍
It could be that the Queen Muto will morph into a Prime later on.
Can you make a video explaining the Kong life cycle or the Skull Crawler life cycle?
he already did kong
@@NGD.. where

@@NGD.. That was the species of Kong's there are.
I feel like the Kong life cycle would be relatively simple - it would be like apes or stone age people.
I really liked the Muto in the first Godzilla, they look and act very cool. And in my opinion they are one of the most underrated kaiju in the monster-verse. And I was so happy to see them on screen after we last saw them in 2014, and I like how they where good guys now. The Muto are definitely one of my favorite kaiju from the monsters verse:
the first was in 1954
@@Nenzoses Oh yeah, I forgot. Thanks

Yea they very underrated
Could a yautja (predator) survive 24 hours on Skull Island
That is very intriguing. I second this
100% they have high tech weapons and invisibility also insane strength. They could even survive for years there in my opinion
The yautja will definitely enjoy the time there
I like to imagine Muto Primes have PTSD flashbacks sometimes remembering the fact they had to massacre so many of their own kind to become the Muto Prime.
I wish that MUTO prime would be in the theaters
Oh my gosh, seeing a MUTO Prime inside the upcoming Godzilla TV show, or the next movie, that's something to look out for! That's an epic idea! Legendary should totally take notes or something.
Is this real? Cause that seems pretty official...
If this is official, I kinda need directions to how to claim this prize... 😅

Hopefully they do evolve in the comic as a Stronger Larger than Prime only existing to protect her
@Cédrick Dupuis my idea is that the king muto is a muto prime but smaller and has wing to fly
@@ochyt328 The final Form of the Males would be the a Keizer Theyy would need to be stronger than Prime because they would hunt for her and protect her from things like Gojiras
@@cedrickdupuis2647 I'm not sure about that because in base female muto is stronger than male
Keizers are only there to mate and protect the Prime and hunt for her so they need to be stronger than Prime to protect her better

A FILM TEORY
Haaa! I get it!
"Godzilla: Mutos Strikes Back" would be great film deffinitelly
I have a theory about why the MUTO queen didn't (or hasn't) become a MUTO prime. What if she was making preparations for the transformation when King Ghidorah's alpha call called her away. Maybe that's why she bowed to Godzilla instead of attacking him in Boston, because if she attacked him he would have most likely killed her meaning she never transforms meaning the extinction of the MUTO species. If she was in fact the last one.
Honestly, I'd love if they added a male MUTO specimen that endured long enough to evolve into a higher form, feels like a missed opportunity
Yeah
Imagine there was a king muto essentially an elder male muto that reached its prime status.
I forgot Muto is actually the most biologically disturbing (and disgusting) titan in the MonsterVerse
They do have emotions because they do feel sadness and rage when there babies are brutally killed
I don’t see how the entire world isn’t just dead, that’s always what caught me up about the Godzilla franchise
poor male muto
Dagon:💀
I have a strong feeling that in G&K, the main antagonist is Muto Prime. We won't get Biollante or Destroyah (cough... Oxygen Destroyer) 🤭
Bro I feel bad for the male muto like imagine giving your future wife gifts of food and having kids with her just for her to devour you and betray you
Maybe they aren't cannibals.
@@cedrickdupuis2647 eh maybe
@@idk93939 She seemed to protect him
its honestly kinda cute to see the male muto bumping his head with the female like a cat
truly a loving parasitic pair
The Muto maybe horrifying, but they're certainly better fathers than most.
Love that art of the baby Muto, that looks awesome.
im pretty sure the explanation for why the other one didn't evolve into muto prime was because there was another in the ending of Godzilla king of the monsters which was named the "queen Muto"
Wanna know a fun video idea?
conceptualizing how a Xenomorph would work as a Kaiju,
more specifically, conceptualizing a Kaiju sized Xenomorph vs Godzilla
Another fun idea would be the Titans from all factions within Warhammer 40k vs Godzilla.
like how would a Emperor Class Imperial Titan, which is essentially if you merged a Battleship with a Cathedral and gave it legs, face against the G-Man?
or maybe the Tyranid BioTitans vs the G-Man? The WH40K wiki says there's about 5 of them, sounds fun to see how they would stand against Godzilla.
If I was a MUTO, I would just bow to everyone, I would be the innocent, Save Godzilla from other Mutos, and just be like godzilla.
out of my free time after watching this video, i started drawing a bit of the muto takeover, and made somewhat of a comic from it, i named it "The Muto Era", never gonna release it, but it was something i like to read by myself

Just Hire this man as a screenwriter please
When we first saw the MUTO in 2014, we absolutely underestimate these titans after learning about their capabilities and their involvement of nearly killing all the Gojira species.
