    If we look at the extract from Extract from - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahāvākyas it says, "According to the Advaita Vedanta tradition the four Upanishadic statements indicate the ultimate unity of the individual (Atman) with Supreme (Brahman).
    The Mahavakyas are:
    1. prajñānam brahma - "Prajñāna is Brahman", or "Brahman is Prajñāna" (Aitareya Upanishad 3.3 of the Rig Veda)
    2. ayam ātmā brahma - "This Self (Atman) is Brahman" (Mandukya Upanishad 1.2 of the Atharva Veda)
    3. tat tvam asi - "Thou art That" (Chandogya Upanishad 6.8.7 of the Sama Veda)
    4. aham brahmāsmi - "I am Brahman", or "I am Divine" (Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 1.4.10 of the Yajur Veda)"
    The yogapedia.com (www.yogapedia.com/definition/...) says, "Aham Brahmasmi is a term that is used in Hindu and yoga philosophy to describe the unity of the atman (individual self or soul) with Brahman (the Absolute). It is typically translated as “I am Brahman” or less literally as “I am divine.” It reflects the ultimate goal of yoga - union with the higher Self. Yoga itself means “union.” The term comes from the Sanskrit, aham, meaning “I”; brahma, meaning “divine,” “sacred” and also the name of the Hindu creator god; and asmi, which translates as “I am.”
    Nevertheless these maha mantra aham brahmasmi has come from ancient seer hence we cannot frame it in any religion. This is beyond all religions.
    While in wikipedia (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aham_Br...) the meaning is defined as follow, "Literally, Aham (अहं) means "I", that which cannot be deserted or abandoned on account of being constant, unavoidable, ever present. Brahma (ब्रह्म) means ever-full or whole (ब्रह्म is the first case ending singular of Brahman) and Asmi (अस्मि) means "am," the first-person singular present tense of the verb "अस्," "to be." This mahāvākya is in the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad of the Shukla Yajurveda. Brahman is the Infinite Reality, the all encompassing existence in itself; only when the ego dies can this be realized. In this aphorism the "I" is not the limited transmigrating ego, the doer and the enjoyer within, and also not the body and the mind. Man (who is a conscious entity) alone has the capacity to improve his present state, to guide his future, to enquire and know the truth, and to free himself from the cycle of birth and death (vidyā adhikāra) through thoughtful actions (karma adhikāra). Vidyāranya in his Panchadasi (V.4) explains:
    स्वतः पूर्णः परात्माऽत्र ब्रह्मशब्देन वर्णितः |
    अस्मीत्यैक्य-परामर्शः तेन ब्रह्म भवाम्यहम् ||
    "Infinite by nature, the Supreme Self is described here by the word Brahman (lit. ever expanding; the ultimate reality); the word asmi denotes the identity of aham and Brahman. Therefore, (the meaning of the expression is) "I am Brahman."
    This realization is gained through true enquiry."
    Though the literal meaning of aham brahmasmi goes by the following words “I am the brahm”. Defining brahm is irrelevant and relevant both at the same time and both not at the same time and it is beyond definition at the same time. Hence see how dynamic Is the depth, width, height, volume, capacity, gravity and space of this maha mantra aham brahmasmi.
    Wise people in ancient era never use to get into debate or discussion or exploration or elaboration or definition of aham barhmasmi mantra rather they internalise it and made it part of their day to day living. Aham brahmasmi is much beyond the human mind conception and understanding hence to really experience the dynamism of aham brahmasmi one has to take it as an internal sadhana (inner work).
    Aham brahmasmi mantra brings greater clarity within you about your being and your connection to entire cosmos. Yet on the same time the experience will not be limited to body-mind it will be much beyond.
    Aham brahmasmi brings love, peace and bliss in your life and beyond.
    अहं ब्रह्मास्मी महा मंत्र आपके जीवन मै प्रेम, शांति, आनंद का विस्तार करें यही प्रार्थना है पर:ब्रह्म से।
