      Hi
We are doing pretty well all things considered. Going to spend a weekend in the desert 🏜️ with my husband and his sons. It will be good to get outside I tend to isolate a bit to much.
Just praying for the New Kingdom. We are all excited for that to get here ! Give my love to your sweet wife and little ones.
      Sisterly Love

Hey man, I really appreciate this video. Just this week, I finally recognized the validity in Jesus’ existence, and I have a couple questions regarding how to begin because I’ve never had any Christian guidance. Is there any specific bible I should buy that isn’t too corrupted? What are the necessary steps to submit myself to Jesus?

Hello brother, it sounds like the Lord is drawing you to Him and that is wonderful! The first step is recognizing our own corruption and sins and confessing them to God with a sincere heart and asking Him to forgive us. We also have to let go of ourselves and our ways and submit to Him working His will in our lives. If you mean it, He will hear you and will start to work in your life whether or not you have a supernatural experience. I did a video called "Receiving the Holy Spirit like a Rushing Wind" on this channel that I recommend watching to see my testimony of what this was like for me. I also recommend watching "True Repentance: Whoa to me if I Don't Preach This!"
Again, if you do not feel the Spirit the way I did, do not be discouraged, God will still hear you. He wants you to reach out. He responds to different people different ways and at different times. My wife still hasn't felt the Spirit in the same manner that I have, but she has had other experiences and even a miracle healing (two injuries that caused her pain every morning for 10+ years BOTH gone overnight! Praise Jesus!).
I've always read the King James Bible (simply because that is what I had) but I've recently read the ESV and the New King James bible and have yet to encounter any significant translation discrepancies, so those are all good. When you read the whole Bible and have the Holy Spirit helping you, it will start to open up to you and make sense. People get in trouble when they start to pick out individual verses without reading the entire book in order to understand the context. I recommend beginning with the four gospels--Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. You might want to read through them a couple of times. Then you could move on to the rest of the New Testament and then the Old Testament.
One important thing to always remember is that it's about your relationship with Jesus. The Bible is great (it's His book) but it is important to pray and contemplate on the things of heaven and just talk to Jesus throughout the day. We serve a True and Living God. I don't like to say this, but I recommend avoiding church (at least until you have the Christian discernment to tell a good one from a lukewarm one--the vast majority are lukewarm these days). There are a lot of people checking off boxes thinking they are on their way to heaven (e.g. they read the Bible daily, say a prayer before bed, and go to church every week) but whose hearts are set on the things of the world and not the things of God. There truly is a rebirth where your priorities change and the worldly things lose their grip on you.
Since this video resonated with you, I gather that you have noticed the corruption in the world and how you have to "unlearn" a lot of things. Sadly, I have found it is the same inside the "church." This is where you and I have an advantage, able to come in fresh and just learn from the Holy Spirit, the scriptures, and from the few true, all-in believers out there. It really is "all in" or nothing with Jesus, but don't worry if you only have a partial faith now--Faith itself is also a gift from God and our Father will grow it as you seek Him.
I am overjoyed to hear from you friend! I am saying a prayer for you right now as I write this. 🙏Reach out any time brother!

@@wheatNtares Thank you so much for this extensive reply. I talked to one of my friends last night and asked him for some advice on how to begin my relationship with God, and many of the things he said coincided with your response.
I also watched your video about the experience you had with god and I find myself at the same point you were - believing around 80% that he is real. So far, I have just prayed and talked to God throughout the day just to thank him for all of the blessings I have received and continue to receive from him, but I want to strengthen my relationship even more. I underwent a transformation in the last 2 years, which led me to unknowingly live a very godly life and I believe that is due to God having guided me despite not having had a relationship with him. One thing I must I ask though is, how do I truly repent my sins and what is the right way to pray? Is there any specific way? I’ve heard different opinions like people saying that you should be on your knees and others saying that you should stand high and reach towards him. Thank you for any answers.
