The guy who’s voice u always noticed is haechan. You’ve actually seen him in many other nct 127 (he’s part of 127 as well) and nct u videos. He was in 90s love as well. You’ve noticed his voice a lot of times before as well. The dancer you noticed is jisung. He’s the maknae. When chewing gum was released he was only 14 and now he’s 19. Mark was in nct dream for a bit until he “graduated” after crossing the age limit. But now dream doesn’t have the age concept anymore so he’s back in dream since 2020. The blue hair guy who’s visuals u liked is jaemin. An other nct dream song to checkout is definitely ‘boom’

Nct dream initially debuted as a group with a graduation system meaning...
The member who'll turn 20 in korea has to graduate and leave the group so when mark became 20 he graduated but last year sm decided to stop the graduation system and mark returned to nct dream..
During this short time dream made 2 comebacks without mark boom and ridin.
Now mark is back in dream,he was part of the dream song in resonance album and nct dream is supposedly making an ot7 cb soon...

I gasped so loudly lol, NCT DREAM are the 3rd subunit of NCT they debuted at the ages 14-17(international age) now they are all adults by Korean standards meaning they're above 19 internationally and 20 in Korea. I would strongly suggest going in order after chewing gum so you can see the steady growth. The unit originally had a graduation system meaning that after they turned 19(20 in Korea) they become and adult and they graduate. So Mark their unofficial leader graduated at the end of 2018. It was a really emotional time for everyone but Dream kept going as 6 members. the 2000 liner members(Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, and Jaemin) didn't end up graduating at the end of 2019 because that would have left Dream as a 2 member unit(Chenle and Jisung). So NCTzens didn't really know what was going to happen until April(or maybe March I don't remember). SM put out a statement that Dream was going to get rid of the graduation concept and bring back Mark. Also they added that Dream would become a rotational unit with the 7 members. Meaning that all of them could be in a comeback but the next one could have 3 members the only thing though is that Dream will only every have those 7 members since its a fixed unit now.
The only ones below 20 internationally are Chenle and Jisung, the others all have 20/21

in fact chenle has a great stability, great skills and vocals, since he has specialized training since he was a child, he is rich, vocal instructors and everything... He also have great stamina.
What many people don't like about him, is the tone of his voice, something in how it sounds, I like it a lot, I always liked it, but the type of voice he has is not very valued, despite everything he's as good as any other vocalist in the dream, he just lacks opportunities to show that.
Haechan's voice is so unique and it stands out not only from NCT but from the whole Kpop industry. One of the best vocals. The blue haired guy is Jaemin and yes he is the visual of NCT Dream. Excited for more Dream reactions ❤️

I think they're more balanced in terms of numbers of singers/numbers of rappers and everyone has same amount of screen time to shine. And each comeback has an especific, different and unique concept. But there's so much talent in the others units, too. Unfortunately, they're not so well managed like dream is.

6:48 yes! It's the same person! He's Haechan. The blue haired guy is Jaemin. Right after Chewing Gum era, he took hiatus from the group for around 1 year 6 months due to herniated disc injury. He went back to the group during GO era.
5:01 it's Haechan, i've said this before that his voice tone is the most unique aside of any 23 NCT members. He's also debuted on NCT 127 as the team's maknae (the youngest) while in NCT DREAM he's the 4th oldest. NCT DREAM youngest member is Jisung, the one who did solo dance on the last chorus.

Yup, they were all 18-20 by the time Ridin' was released. They grew up a lot the past 4 or 5 years since debut, so a lot of NCT fans tend to have "proud mom" feels every time these guys release new stuff. They grew up before our eyes and NCT fans will always be protective of these talented kids! SM wouldn't have debuted them so young if they weren't sure of their talent!

Yes, Mark isn't in there because *NCT DREAM* at first have this graduation system which when a member turn *20 years old* hell graduate from the group. But in because I think in 2019(20?) There are 4 members who'll turn 20 so if they'll graduate only 2 members will left, which is Jisung and Chenle. So, SM decided to make *NCT DREAM* a *fixed unit* and added *Mark* again in the unit. The member's voice you really liked was Lee Haechan! He is also in NCT 127 and NCT U (the rotational unit where members are chosen for comebacks based on who suits the concept the best. Make a Wish, 90s love and Work It are some examples of the songs by NCT U!) Haechan definitely has one of the most unique voices in kpop and has beautiful technique.

About the graduation system: basically SM had this rule that once a member of NCT dream crossed the age of 20, they would have to "graduate" from the group and would not promote with them anymore. Mark is the oldest within the dreamies, so he graduated and was absent from a few comebacks. Eventually SM realised this graduation rule is crap because when Haechan, Jaemin, Renjun and Jeno turned 20 as well then that would leave Dream as a 2 member group (Chenle and Jisung) lmao
So the rule was not to be followed anymore and Mark returned to dream from the Resonance era onwards.
And you were right! During chewing gum era they really were babies, Jisung, the maknae (the member you noticed to be a really good dancer, and THAT, he is! One of the best dancers in the whole of NCT) being only 14. The others were about 16-17. Most of them were adults by the time Ridin area rolled around (unintentional pun-)
Lastly, deja vu is a b side track as you thought from the Resonance album. It was performed as 7dream, with all the members finally back.

Nct Dream has the most stable Korean fanbase and are the mpst active in vlive and also in Bubble. Dream also is one of the strongest unit when it comes to sales. 127 of course has been a flagship unit so they are the most promoted i suspect because future units will have their main members from there.
Haechan’s vocals is very distinct and very recognizable and his voice always stands out specially to vocal coaches

They were 14, 15, 16 (x4), and Mark was the oldest at 17, in terms of age during chewing gum. Chewing Gum definitely is a bop. It was cute but not in a overly cringe sort of way. They played it well. You should check out the performance version, they dance on hoverboards! Funfact, the song was originally meant for Red Velvet. IDK if NCT Dream members have any extreme dislike to the song. They have performed it a few times in more recent years. I think their bigger struggle is the fact that their voices has changed since then, especially Jisung (compare 2:53 with 7:00) and so they have to sing "higher" for Chewing Gum than their other songs. But judging by their personalities, they definitely prefer the "ridin" concept more.
At debut, NCT Dream was supposed to have a graduation concept where once the members hit 20, they “graduate” and leave the unit, the plan was probably to add younger members later on. Mark turned 20 in 2019 so he had graduated by end of 2018. However, due to fan protest and the fact that 4 members were set to graduate in 2020. So right before "Ridin" released, SM announced that they were canceling the whole graduation concept and Mark was going to be put back in to NCT Dream after "Ridin" comeback. So as of now, NCT Dream has 7 members again and they’re having a comeback soon!

Here is my favourite unit! My little Dreamies! My babies... everyone's babies! I love their music so much, they just make me smile like SHINee make me smile!
NCT DREAM doesn't have made their Japanese debut yet but they released a Japanese album to commemorate their Japanese tour (but they couldn't finish it because of the Covid....)...
In the second one, the 00 line (older ones in the video) were nearly all already 20. Jisung (the maknae, the one with the solo dance in Chewing gum, the main dancer) was 18.
Now, one year later, Jisung is adult in Korea (T-T) but he is still only 19 internationally. With Mark, this year they will be between 22 and 19.

NCT has a series called UnCut which shows parts of the recording process for their songs. If you really want to become a Haechan stan, watch UnCut for Gimme Gimme. He's the first one up. I was so impressed with his vocal abilities that I've watched it many times. Fun fact: The CEO picked his stage name Haechan, which means Full Sun, because of his bright & sunny personality. BTW, your potential bias is a great dancer too.

Basically they remove the graduation system and implement the nct U system which is the rotational one. It is where they might have comebacks which only contains any number of members among the 7 original members.

Finally!! I've been waiting for this reaction, thank you Sir 😊😊 and you're right about Jisung, he's the same person who did solo dance on Chewing Gum. He's the dancing machine of NCT Dream & one of the main dancers of the whole NCT.
Though Taeyong is my bias but Haechan has been wrecking me so much with his voice & savageness. Like Taeyong & him have the exact opposite personality but I love them both & I love their dynamics too.
Well Jaemin become NCT Dream's center isn't for nothing since he has the aura, visual, charisma etc. Just like Lucas being the center of WayV, also Taeyong as center of NCT 127 & NCT as a whole. They're the stan attractor for sure.
