Chenle always had so much shine to him and poor Jisung was just a shy dancing bean on a Chinese show where all the hosts were trying to speak chinese to him lol.

Both of them ended debut with large members at that time. (Suju 15 member, SNSD 9 member) Also a sub-unit of various countries, Super Junior & SUJU M. SUJU M did not get the same promotion as SUJU. EXO K & EXO M, ending with EXO like now. And now SM is trying again with NCT, the limitless member, graduation system, rotation system, Also a sub-unit of various countries. There is a small wish that it does not happen (forgive me, trainees, out there). It's okay to add sub units, but with a limitless member & graduation system like AKB48 sister or like After school, it is likely that some members don't have the opportunity to develop and show their talents and they will have difficulty getting solo jobs in the future.

Whenever the Dreamies release a new song I always think back to their debut🥺 it makes me so soft and proud to see them grow. It also makes me feel old seeing Jisung go from 14 to 18 and ugh I’m glad that I started staning NCT from the beginning I get to see everyone grow and mature😭 a 22 year old like me should not be feeling like an old hag but they always make me feel that way😔

Just to simplify this comment for anyone who needs it (because Korean ages can get confusing!!):
Korean age is based on the year you were born, not your actual birthday. When you're born, you're already one year old. On January 1 of the next year, you turn two, etc.
Right now, Mark (born in 1999) is 22 in Korean years, but he is 20 in international age, as his birthday is on August 2 and has not yet passed this year.
Renjun and Jeno (born in 2000) are both 21 in Korean years, but they are 20 in international age because their birthdays (March and April 23, respectively), have already passed.
Haechan and Jaemin (also born in 2000) are also 21 in Korean years, but they are only 19 in international age because their birthdays (June 6 and August 13) haven't passed yet.
Chenle (born in 2001) is currently 20 in Korean years, but he is 18 in international age because his birthday (November 22) hasn't passed yet.
Jisung (born in 2002) is currently 19 in Korean years, but he is also 18 in international age, like Chenle, because his birthday (February 5) has already passed.
To make things easier, if your birthday has not passed yet this year, your Korean age is two years older than your international age. When your birthday passes, your Korean age will then only be one year older than your international age. This can get a little confusing for those who aren't familiar with the concept of Korean age (a baby born on December 31 turns two years old the next day!!), but it's easy enough to grasp once you get the hang of it :)
Fun fact: Mark is known as one of the hardest working idols in the industry. Whenever he's mentioned, everyone always talks about his work ethic :)

If im not mistaken, Jisug debuted when he was 14years old and Mark was 17. So basically most just broke into their teenage years. This Reload MV totally showed how good the dreamies grew up physically and skill-wise.
I love that you did watch chewing gum and ridin’ for comparison, so that you’ll clearly see how they grow up in term of voice and performance.

one fun fact i wanna mention is that Chenle is a vocalist who only had around 2-3 months of dance training before going straight to debut with Dreamies on hoverboard (tho at 4:11 you can notice he has to turn around to get on the board because he's not used to it, a baby ;w;)!! it's always super impressive with how he blends in seamlessly in a unit known for being super strong in dancing.

Don't forget Mark already debuted with U and 127 before being part of Dreamies too. Also, Mark was 17 at that time, so is kinda of a miracle he were add there!
