In this case you simply need to click the instruction you want your next rider in the train to execute. So, when you have 4 riders left in the train and want to start pacing with your third to last rider, you simply need to click on the Effort Cursor order (or press the "E" key) and he will start doing that instead of following the front rider. Just make sure you do that before your front rider completely depletes his energy. Thank you for watching and good luck 😉
Nice tutorial! Personally i preffer tactics ,,destroy every other sprinter'' which means going like 90 since 12 km to go and ten switching to 99 at 5 to go, start sprinting on 1,5 with leadout and on last kilometer with main sprinter. But yeah, nice video, maybe i will try this tactics some day.
Thanks my friend! 😃 I agree that your strategy might work out better when you don't have one of the top favorites or when the final kilometers are somewhat irregular. Maybe in the future I may do a few more of these tutorials with different race situations.
Hi. Well, I can't say I know how to destroy all the other sprinters, but sometimes, if you have a strong enough sprint train (several riders with a high flat stat), you can push the effort even higher even earlier than I show in the video.
for some reason, everytime i start sprinting with leadout or my main they keep getting stuck behind a teammate losing 10 positions. This happened 10 times in a row now in 2020. So bad!
Thank you for the comment and for checking the video. Sorry to hear that you have that issue ☹️ I never had it, or at least never noticed it. If it's happening always with the same riders it could perhaps be something related with having a big difference in sprint stat between the main leadout and sprinter and the remaining riders in the train. But this is just a guess. How it gets better for you in the future.
@@kareberntsen7834 No its not about effort or energy levels. They just get blocked behind own teammate because AI doesn't have the brain to go around. They eventually will find their way around the teammate and start sprinting but by then it's allready too late because, instead of sprinting to go faster, they get stuck behind a tired out teammate that is slowing down. And it's not because i sprint too late. They really get stuck for seconds! If you have a top sprinter it doesn't matter much because your leadout gives you the advantage you need, but for a mediocre sprinter you lose many potential podiums this way.
Thanks. Hope you're enjoying it and that the tutorial is being helpful in getting some wins 🙂 Going forward, any new tutorials I do are going to be with the most recent game, but the basics should still apply to PCM 2019. You can, of course have a look at my other videos and try to understand what I'm doing. I sometimes explain a bit of what I'm doing and why. If you have questions don't hesitate asking them 😉
@@mairao Again thanks for your time and response! I go have a question about the lead out train. What kinda stats do i need for each rider? ie the first man in the 5 man lead out should he have the best flat stat? just wonder in what order u decide to put them in the 5 man group.
@@fastgamingchannels7024 So, the easiest to sort are your sprinter and your final sprint launcher. The best SP should of course be the last man. Ahead of them, so the third to last rider, it can depend a bit. If you have a third strong sprinter, with good flat as well, you can put him there and launch the sprint with him as I did in the tutorial. And in that case I'd put the best flat rider as 4th to last, with the second best flat as the front rider. However, if you lack a third strong sprinter, you can have your best flat rider as third to last and instead of launching the sprint with him you can keep him going at 99 for 0.2-0.3 Km longer and then start sprinting with your 2nd to last rider. Of course this can always vary slightly if some of your riders have already used too much energy and their red bar is no longer full.
@@fastgamingchannels7024 The biggest tip for TTs is that when you have climbs in them you should go harder in those climbs and save some energy on the flat and downhills. Some people also save energy in tight corners although I'm unsure it makes a difference in the most recent version of the game. Should be effective in 2019, though. When it's a flat and non-technical TT it's all about managing the energy to be always around the same level as the indicator for how much of the TT has been completed.
Oh damn, now I won't have an excuse anymore for not winning a sprint finish... Oh well, I can simply delete this video if things start going poorly for Démare 😅
17-15 Km
Have 5 man sprint train ahead of the peloton (~80 effort)
9-10 Km to go
Lead the peloton with 3 riders ahead of your sprinter at 85 effort
~8 km to go increase effort 2-3 every km
~7km to go use energy gel first two rider
~6km to go use energy on 3th rider (sprint lead)
~5km to go use energy on sprinter
~5km to go put lead out to 95 effort (still 4 rider)
~4km to go put lead rider to 99 effort
~3km to go put second rider to 99 effort (3 rider left)
~2.1km to go put leader to sprint (3 rider)
~1.5 to go lunch your last lead
~1.1 to go lunch your sprinter
Thanks, I guess 🙂
how do you switch/remove the rider that you are following?

Wow that's one very helpful video, thank you!
Glad I could help 😉
First try: WON.
Awesome!
Glad to know I could help! It's not a guaranteed win everytime, but I'm happy you feel it made a difference. Cheers and thank you for the comment 😃
Same here!

(i guess your tactics is better in long stage races because it saves energy.)

Yeah definitely. In my career I usually don't have the best sprinter in race, so I am helping myself by destroying others :D
Hi, can you explain in details how to destroy every other sprinter? thank you
