I think there are two ways to succeed at sprints. If you have a strong team, going 95+ from 10k out with a big train is definitely the move. If you don't have a strong team, just go leadout man-sprinter, identify who you think the strongest rider is, and follow his wheel until about 2k.
Maybe I do need to rely more on following a strong train from another team. It also has the plus of me being then allowed to put the blame on their train if it doesn't work 😅 Thanks for the feedback.
Hi just wanna ask, how will you do it when in the dossiers you are only "resigning" with simone ravanelli is he the only one that will stay from this years team to the next, or there are some more that have contract for next year. Maybe it would be better to try to have more of the same guys, and possibly it is little bit more realistic that way. (I don't think that conti teams are changing the whole roster every year). Anyways great video as always, hope this series will be as long as possible

I do like to keep things as realistic as possible, while at the same time balancing that with the fact that this is a series for TH-cam and I can't stay at Conti level for 3-4 seasons. I need to balance realism with a steady progression. Little spoiler: - of the 13 riders in season 1, only 3 had a contract for 2024 already; - of the remaining 10, I'll be keeping 6, so only 4 of the initial 13 are leaving the team; - I signed a significant number of new riders because I wanted to reach the minimum requirement to become a Pro Conti team (20 riders); - that could be unrealistic for most Conti teams, but considering how successful we've been in season 1, and that Evian is a big brand that would support rapid expansion, I though it would make sense for our team.
@@mairao Yea, that's a good point that the good results in the first season could "attract" better riders, and i completely agree that for a youtube series you have to go fast because not a lot of people would like to watch a 4 seasons of conti.
As someone who is from the same city as Wilco Kelderman and has been following his career since the beginning, I would give up one of my legs if to make him win the Giro (let alone with 7 minutes on the 2nd placed rider). But alas, only in PCM world do things like this happen😅
I think that the: Belmont-sur-Rance - Roquefort-sur-Soulzon was a stage they reduced the size due to bad weather and it became a variant on PCM. :)
