Cobalt resources in Idaho are the reason.
The politicians sold out the Idaho farmers and American food supply so their stocks in mining and energy will skyrocket

Economically and nationally this would be devastating. If we lose our crops, our food prices soar even more. This is calculated.

They killed the water to farmers so Jervois mining can take over their land to mine cobalt.
Water is also a YUGE component of cobalt mining.
Corruption is stealing land from farmers and giving it to corporations right in front of us.
      I stand with farmers!

How about we tell all of these Golf courses to stop watering their lawns also. I also think these subdivisions and HOA can stop forcing people to water their lawns. While we are it lets force any new subdivisions going forawrd require to be a zeroscape type community. Too many people moving in and using up our most important commodity for the sake of having a pretty yard. Support the farmers and keep the Idaho economy strong.

@RealKlausSchwab no it isnt. It's about a senior water right user wanting their water over what's best for the state. The water rights in Idaho needs better management to benefit everyone.

@KTVB how about you do a story on the cobalt mines in idaho, its connected!
Alot of politicians, energy corp, and mining corporations are going to make a ton of money by shutting these farmers down, and mining idahos cobalt.
The governers stocks in energy and cobalt are probably skyrocketing.

    UPDATE: Water Curtailment Order Lifted
Groundwater irrigators and surface water irrigators have completed a deal that saves 330,000 acres of Idaho farmland from being dried up and averts economic catastrophe in the state.
A mitigation agreement for 2024, brokered by Governor Brad Little and Lt. Governor Scott Bedke, has now been signed by all parties and has been submitted to the Idaho Department of Water Resources (IDWR for approval. When the deal is approved, IDWR will lift the curtailment for all nine ground water districts whose patrons irrigate with groundwater from the ESPA.
“This is a huge relief to our members, who have had their livelihoods threatened over the past month,” said TJ Budge, attorney for Idaho Ground Water Appropriators. “We want to thank Governor Little, Lt. Governor Bedke, Senator Van Burtenshaw and, especially, all of our groundwater district members for their sincere and significant efforts to get a deal done before it was too late.”

The solution is obvious! More text us for the for the Rich and more restrictions on healthcare for women. Tax cost for the Rich are the answers to all problems, of course and preventing women from getting the healthcare they need to avoid dying is what God really wants!

How can so many Americans support a candidate for President who denies the threat of global warming and its current effects? The Idaho containment is just one small example. A candidate who, when President, took the US out of international climate treaties, seriously crippling the agreements and international efforts in the fight against climate change. A candidate who forbade EPA officials from researching the issue and engaging in international scholarship, and conferences.

There is not a water shortage. The fight is for control over water and the money to be made off the water. The same for the climate. We haven't stop using oil. We buy it from Venezuela and the Saudis. It is about money, wealth distribution and control. Wake up!
