Yeah the abrasives in a magic eraser are going to do more harm than good for the clear coat on the leather. Also go from least to most aggressive. If you can get away with a mild cleaner and a microfiber towel, then do that. If it’s not enough, then slowly increase your steps.
As long as you’re using a soft brush, with little pressure, and a cleaner to lubricate, you should be ok. Always test before going to town on a seat. And always start with the least aggressive method first and then work up if needed.

A magic eraser with warm water gently rubbed on the seat would do exactly the same thing and avoid any chemicals.

I used the ColourLock Mild Leather Cleaner with their leather brush
Don't scrub your leather. It cuts it (I learned the hard way)

A leather brush is not going to scratch leather..thats what it was designed for...to clean leather safely...Colourlock knows what their doing here.
