I mean, my first impressions, it looks super scary and Gorey and stuff. But after seeing this video I don't think they're that bad. I still don't really like the MVS, they're just not for me. But they seems nice, it's just not for me and most other people.
The people who are really dangerous, they blend in or you never see them. They are they guy next door (Ted Bundy), or the hermit (unibomber). None of them wear makeup and have a "look at me" wardrobe. EDIT: I'm just going to add a little note. I was addressing the part where they mention that people think they could be dangerous. When I say "look at me" I mean it as the desire to acknowledge the visual expression of an individual. I have no negative intention behind it and for any who have that intention or not, more power to you! :) UbU
I get what you mean by a “look at me” wardrobe because this look usually drags a lot of attention. But I think a thing people need to know that people who dress extreme usually aren’t doing it for attention or for people to think wow look at how unique they look but more because it’s their thing and they like it. (Sorry, I just wanted to make that clear)
Somewhere Upthere Well if you mean in a “I want to look good when I go out” type of “look at me” style then sure. I just think that a lot of people mistake people who wear alt fashion for attention seekers. Which I not true at all! Most of us are actually very shy. Also Jazmin uses they/them pronounce btw!
Somewhere Upthere It’s ok! I messed up a lot too when I first started to talk about people who use they/them pronounce, really nice that you’re so cool with it though. But yeah i think I can see what you mean, I dress odd because I like it of course but also so people will see it and think it’s interesting, maybe even intriguing. So get that, I’m just scared that people might think I’m trying to be in center all the time when I’m actually very much the opposite. But I understand also doing it for people to see and be impressed, and I think that’s totally fine too!
Somewhere Upthere I think a lot of the time it’s about expressing yourself through what you wear. I also see people dress up as their own characters and act like them when they go out sometimes (a good example of this is Drag) I’m sure some people use it as some type of camouflage but I’ve never seen anybody do that. It’s a good question though, I think for many have this thing they wanna channel like a doll or a creature or a monster and then they put their own spin on it
I have a 12 year old daughter and she like s to dress up like you. I think it’s very impressive. Your style is beautiful and fascinating. I would definitely pull up a chair and ask you tons of questions. BTw I get my girl all the cosplay stuff she wants. Any thing to feed an artistic mind.
You’re an amazing mom. My mom would tell me that it’s just silly. Last week she told me that a hobby I wanted to do was silly, but I’m gonna do it anyway. All parents should be like you^^

I also see people dress up as their own characters and act like them when they go out sometimes (a good example of this is Drag)
I’m sure some people use it as some type of camouflage but I’ve never seen anybody do that.
It’s a good question though, I think for many have this thing they wanna channel like a doll or a creature or a monster and then they put their own spin on it
Facts. These people are just artists not dangerous
I love alt-fashion/style so much.
