So what you are telling me is big tyres and one wheel drive is as good as needed. That's what it was like for me back in the 70's and 80's 2wd open diff, beach, corrugations no problems.
How am I just finding this channel? Glad I did...new sub here. Such a wholesome family and good vibes all around. Hope everyone is feeling better. Looking forward to watching more adventures
Very honest of you to show the down days. A lot of TH-camrs just edit out the bad times and act like nothing happened. Still, a down day on a beach with a fire and an amazing view can't be that bad 😜
Thanks for lifting me up guys. I am stuck in bed with Covid. it is shocking. believe me you guys are better off staying in the outback away from the human population. this was another great show. love the strong blues in the ocean. cheers Owen.
Great vid guys, just discovered your channel! I've got a 4WD this year for the first time, so previously I'm used to bashing around the bush in 2WDs, I like the Kombi!
i was going stock standard like you guys and let the tyres down to 1Bar/ 1000kpa never had any problems until one day got stuck in very soft sand then let it down to 800kpa. The old kombi was in many ways better than a 4x4
Super awesome episode guys, lov'n the content , Lov'n that Combi, how good is it🤣🤣🤣Cheers for sharing your travels, always looking for an update 👍👍👍 Cheers Andy
You guys are living our dream. So glad to be able to share it with us. Your music is amazing but you better leave the dancing in the old car to someone else. Ha Ha ;)
You guys remind me of the Layland brothers ,they also traveled in a Kombie but then they later were travelling in 4x4 Toyota ,I liked the show learning about places in Australia, people would write them asking them to explore some place that the viewer knew of or heard about for some reason. I preferred watching them driving the Kombie .it was a educational tv show 😊
Originally, in the 1960's Mike and Mal, the Leyland brothers did their original adventures in modified (wide wheels, fat tyres), old Series LandRovers, the Kombi trips were later done by Mike Leyland and his wife without Mal, the brothers split over a failed business venture. They lived in Newcastle NSW too, same as Karsten and Maxine. They're all legends...

How on earth do you stop yourself from getting agitated by these comments. Try not to take mine the wrong way Karsten. Like I just read “online”🙄( The happy go lucky couple of last year’s The Block: Glasshouse. And while the pair would seem to have it all after taking home substantial winnings and tying the knot on the show last September, Maxine is now opening up about a time in her life that was less than peachy. Maxine, 25, has penned a blog post detailing her frightening experience of being misdiagnosed with epilepsy in 2013.) Instant relief for an earache...a few drops of warm olive oil in, then plug a cotton ball in there. It works you'll see. ✌🏻💖

You guys should see if commercial TV are interested in your videos.
This is heaps more interesting and exciting than the reality crap they broadcast.
Great video as usual...Love you guys. Time to do the ultimate upgrade, body swap onto a synco chassis and drivetrain.

Next time you get an ear ache lay down on your side and have someone pour a little rubbing alcohol in your ear. Always worked for me.
