from a long time aley mains some little insight that might help anyone who wants to mess around with alex: 1. your max dmg out of a jump in without recources is 6hp > 236hp > 63214hp but it switches sides 2. your most reliable anti air is your j.mk and if you backjump it it also catches most crossup attempts wich alex struggles with otherwise 3. if you charge up your 46hk but piano a hp infront of your hk input you will combo your 6hp into the h flash elbow (required for many optimal combos 4. in the corner your h flash elbow (4charge 6 hk) combos into 2hk (also required for many optimal cornercombos 5. your headbut (2charge 8 p) will usually leave you in a neutral position, however the ex verseion leaves you in range for a 5mk to apply pressure 6. closeup lariat (6hp) will leave you i range for a command grab ;) 7. after a knockdown with any version of powerbomb (63214p) aswell as any version of your kneedrop (623k) you can 5hk to pressure them on wakeup, however this is not save on block without v trigger and they can reversal with an invincible dp so be carefull with this. crushing blows with your 5hk are devastating 8. your light flash chop (236 lp) is a combo reset on standing opponents allowing you to force more blocks or even command grab if they dont see it coming if anyone has any questions regarding this tipps feel free to ask me whatever you want and have fun with my favorite sfv charkter

Alex is amazing against the large characters but smugs already got his rog pimped out so he wouldnt be securing anymore matchups by pickibg up Alex. I was hoping between Rog and G smugs would be set but im not so sure about G anymore. Love the character but Smug needs to pick up another top tier. Maybe Guile, even tjo seeing smug stoop to that would break my heart....
