James, you're unlike any other gardener on youtube. I do not say this lightly, but you're in a league of your own when it comes to harvesting. We all talk about gardening, but at the end of the day it's the food you ACTUALLY produce that matters. All I can do is acknowledge your success, and try to mimic your style that's so clearly successful. Thanks for providing inspiration to me and so many thousands of others.
Well said, he is very inspiring and confirms my method of dense planting with lots of varieties. This year I need to fertilize and get into that habit. This is what creates great harvests.
I have a mass amount of excitement and knowledge about growing food because of this channel. Yes I watch other growers but JP videos are totally unique and so informative, in a way it makes me want to get out there a grow! Fun and informative.
I’m always blown away by your harvests! I know that this isn’t something you do, but if you (or even your partner) made videos showing us how to preserve some of what you harvest, I would definitely watch those videos as well! Even if you weren’t preserving but just cooking!😊
Hi James, I wish you would show more when you do the planting each season. I LOVE your videos. I would love to see you put all this in the ground. Love you Tuck!
Yes that is exactly what I need!! I am so far behind this year, but with your help James I will do better next year!! BTW I live IN 7 B zone!! Please help!!
James, I love the way Tuck just goes ahead and helps himself from the basket while you continue moving around the garden. I think that 2nd head of the Clementine Cauliflower probably went into Tuck's tummy! Beautiful garden and wonderful to see such abundance!
I actually harvested my own lavender cauliflower for the first time a month ago, it weighed about 3lbs! Such a wonderful aroma and taste. I recommend growing it!
Now that's a nice haul James! Have you considered a small pond or waterfall with some aqua culture to really bring you garden/backyard full circle? I recently added one as my center piece and man does it look beautiful and really tie everything together. I wish you could see how far my garden has come since you inspired me to start. It's impressive and always growing. Whenever you decide to do any additions in the future definitely take us along for the ride with some "How To" videos. That raised bed with a hoop house top really started me on my way. Looking forward to your future videos and keep up the good work! P.S keep Tuck hydrated it's HOT out there!
You and Tuck are so inspiring in the garden. I've been growing food for well over 12 years but since I found your channel, I keep learning and gaining knowledge. Thanks guys!
Hopefully, I can start my raised garden next year. We just moved to a house after 13 years in apartments. I hope my Pinkie will be like Tuck and get a really healthy diet with veggies from our garden! James, I love your channel; your gardens are magnificent!! I believe this old woman can learn new ways of doing her gardening... Thanks for all the wonderful videos!😊😊❤❤🎉🎉
Dang! Tuck’s been putting in some overtime! Gotta defend a beautiful harvest like that from the great united armies of the squirrel, rabbit, and bird alliance!
Hi James! what a beautiful assorment of colors and sizes you are getting! I bet they taste delicious. Homegrown with the love and care you give them, yum yum! Thank you for being you and sharing it with us in this platform. Lots of love to you, the crew and handsome Tuck!
James- you are a Blessing to your family & friends by sharing what you grow. I wish I had your green thumb. Your harvest was beautiful & picture perfect. I also need to follow Tuck's ❤ example and eat healthy!😊
Awesome harvest JP! Your family, friends, and neighbors are going to be lucky. BTW borage flowers are also quite tasty, taste a little like cucumber. Thanks for sharing some of your "secret sauce". As lifetime gardener, with 10+ years of organic farming experience, I have to say your plants are massive, vibrant, and super healthy.
James - I just started watching your videos. Love Tuck. My wife actually was your 4th grade teacher. She recognized in the video. I love gardening and have great memories of the Garden State. My Grandparents had a garden center on Route 9 in Oldbridge. It is now a McDonalds. I spent a lot of time with my Grandparents at the garden center. I have always loved watching things grow. I am currently living in FL. Getting my feet wet gardening here and am learning how to amend the soil to get things to grow. I will continue to watch and am going to order one of your t-shirts. God bless you. Green thumbs up!!!
When I was a child in Kansas, my grandfather had an acre garden...loved going out and just picking and pulling things up and eating them. Especially the carrots and green onions!
Glad you have great growing weather. WI is in severe drought and some farmers are ready to close down as they won’t have the feed. Many who are lucky to have marsh land can hold out a bit, but not long. Our garden and trees are suffering and we haven’t had any real rain for well over a month. Only small chances and then only a few drops that gets zapped by incoming heat. Maybe 40% chance somewhere sometime tomorrow and then next Saturday chance. It’s serious and looking bleak. It’s dust. Z5a, WI.
Thank you so much James you are very talented. I knew it before gardening but now that I am a gardener I realize how much skill you got. You inspired me a lot. This week I planted 6 fruit trees and a bunch of other tree, my property will soon be beautiful. Maybe not as beautiful as yours tho :)
Wow! What do you do with all this food?!? Your garden is GOALS! I can’t believe how much stuff you’re harvesting and we have just barely gotten all our plants in. 😅
It blows my mind how perfect your plants are. No snail or caterpillar holes, no mildew and not even any dirt! And the size of the leaves! I really can't figure out how you do it. 😯😯

Not sure if you’ll get to this comment but I’ve been subscribed for a bit now and my mother and I absolutely love your content. We’re from New Jersey as well and have about a 700 sq ft home garden that I just recently remodeled using raised garden beds. Keep up the great content James! And I plan on buying that tshirt to support ya! ❤
I have a tiny balcony garden. Your garden is so inspirational. I can't wait to have the yard space to do more. There is something so satisfying about growing your own food.
Incredible feelings watching this - amazement, awe, appreciation and jealousy. We are in Howell and having somewhat similar results just not as much as you have. Thank you for showing us the way!
Your brassicas are sooo incredible! I have been picking my first batch of strawberries here in Mi! Tuck knows what’s good! Your cherries are unbelievable! If my garden was half as big….
I am 7A too, can you please do a video next year of your baby plantings at the time you start to set it up. I would like to mirror you in a smaller scale.
You are so talented with gardening because you love it so much. Cooool. I follow many tips that you give. I usually stopped the video and go outside AGAIN to my garden to improve it in some way. Little improvements go a long way. Thank you.
I love petunias, I have them everywhere, and they reseed themselves. When the new ones come up you never know what they will look like. Lots and lots of color.
James, Tuck looks fantastic! Keep doing what you’re doing! I’m currently planting my second round of cucumbers, bush beans, squash or zucchini And what ever else I can fit in there! 😂❤
I would love to know how you prepare, cook or store your harvest. I planted an abundance of brassicas this year, and I don't want anything to go to waste! Love your videos, thanks for sharing your expertise!

I'm so glad that I stumbled upon your channel, especially since your in the same region I'm in, Connecticut. Just planted a small garden the 1st week of June. Looking forward to learning from you.
My first jack russell loved his cauliflower and carrots. One time, somebody rang the doorbell while he was in the kitchen eating his dinner and he came out growling, while trying to chew his cauliflower. The resulting noise sounded like, "Nom-nom-nom-nom-nom!" It was hysterically funny!
