Yup! In many of the cases, I didnt have enough of the cards in my inventory, so showing it in-game wasn't an easy task, but as I get more cards I'd love to do this more!
They could give +100 to hitting stats and the LS captain team builds still won’t be better than a god squad. There’s just too many important stats that need to be upgraded to help validate using them (reaction, clutch, vision), and at that point. Might as well use a free 99 lol
SDS just didn’t execute well on the captains and they even admitted to it, players aren’t building theme teams because, big shocker, there’s basically no reason to 😂🤷🏼♂️ If you use a theme team, you’ll have a mediocre team become less bad (but still mediocre) with a captain boost Or you can use great cards and have a great team, and basically ignore captains entirely (except for possibly Trevor Hoffman) The problem with Buck O’Neil is that it is a pretty good card yes, but you have to fill out your roster with a bunch of otherwise mediocre cards to get that boost
@@ifbfmto9338 I mean I’m still hitting over .500 with Dihigo and Satchel/Foster are pretty good pitchers so I don’t mind having them in the rotation Jackie is usable as a pinch runner and Hank is ok as a bench utility guy Having Donaldson on the bench is cool too cus’ he’s basically and extra lefty reliever I can use whenever I feel like which is nice to have Though I have to agree with the captain argument, many of the captains aren’t worth the extra BS of getting all those extra cards in the lineup
@@d2s260 I think what they needed to do, was make the captain boosts higher, and probably affect ALL of your players And then they would’ve been much more useable overall
Buck Oneil underrated! Makes a killer corner outfielder, dihigo + thompson/robinson on the bench, and 4 great pitchers between satchel, rube, donaldson, and hilton.
On my main account I have no idea wtf O'Neill couldn't hit for me. I was considering grinding the program again for the boost but gosh he was abysmal in ranked compared to the others.
So i used the Buck Oneil boost for a while but i felt like the 99's day 1 took away from the sanford greene series cards. The cards were so low that you needed the boost just to make them playable, and even then, not that much. 99 Satchel was a best for sure, but most people dont even play a full game vs him because his windup is in slow motion.
Idk why judge is so hard to hit with I juts timing is terrible I get lucky with him sometimes but swing in miss caise he’s so freaking huge it’s dumb some guys do well it’s like I don’t understand
Definitely rock Jeter judge and hoffman
nice … suggestion for the next one: show more of the final result. How could the teams look like

Willie mays boost is definitely better than some S tier teams
I will say, the new Ralph Kiner definitely is a great boost for him, just not enough high overall diamonds that get boosted for that team right now!

I’m currently still using that Captain Buck O’Neil because it’s a pretty good card in it of itself unlike many of the other captains

pov you were here when the title was relief pitchers
Just noticed that... LOL

Im loving Andres Munoz Mexico Cap. He's a P1 Tier 3 97. His boosts are great.
Pirates theme team Is nice but I'd be better if Clutch boosted right instead of left
