If you watch the official vlog of their finale concert, it shows him practicing "Foes" and "Kanako." He planned to sing 2 different songs for the 2-day concert. Now, I wonder if decided on "Kanako" for the 2nd day because he knew his mother was attending that day and he wanted to also dedicate the song to his mom or to communicate that gratefulness and love to his mom...we can only imagine what he felt at that moment that he choked up. Yes, Felip exudes raw honesty because that's how he really is. He often says that he's not a liar and i believe him. It's easy to read his emotions. Felip doesn't pretend to be happy when he's not. Yes, Felip exudes raw honesty because that's how he really is. He often says that he's not a liar and i believe him. It's easy to read his emotions. Felip doesn't pretend to be happy when he's not. But when he's in his goofy mood, there's no stopping him. When he talks to his fans, he's so caring but at the same time, he could be stern. He always shows his authentic self. That's why sisiws love him so much.

He as much as possible shows his real him yet keeps a lot of struggles inside. Please please, watch his interview with Doug Brock TV. He shared so much there that he haven't shared in most of his interviews. You will fall in love even more.
Kanako actually as Felip mentioned is meant for him, his family, fans and esp God. He's being grateful and thankful for everything hence he wrote the song showing his appreciation. Even his perf of this on day 2 Pagtatag Finale piano version is already so very special with his heartfelt and emotional perf really touched our hearts and made us cried as well. Felip never fails to rep his roots by writing songs in his vernacular, the title means "me" in Bisaya or Visayan dialect. It's such a pretty amazing song and the mv is just great featuring his fans too. This alternative/pop rock era suits his persona well esp. his vocals but whatever genre tho he's just killin' it. That's a 💯% true Tanya, a host from one of the show he performed recently and also friend of SB19 told him that he is one of the most authentic person we know and i couldn't agree more coz he is such a gem and a genuine artist.

I'm not also an english speaker either, but i want to comment anyway. Ken/felip is the most loved in fandom but also the most hated. I hate to say it because i may offend some other members' fans. If SB19 paved the road to other PPop group, felip paved the road for his brothers to go solo. He catched all the bashing and hatred for doing solo. Some fans even accused him that he is just using his group and he will leave them anyway and he was just milking the fans. but look at them now, they are all succesful with their solos. Kanako is his redeaming song dedicated for the fans who stayed with him during his complex era. If you dive more deeper you will know why.. thank you for this reaction, cause kanako has special part in my heart.
And Felip/Ken may not be perfect but he is one of the most authentic people I've ever known. That's why I'm proud to be his sisiw and will be his sisiw forever, because he deserves to be loved.

FELIP is actually an introvert. He was very shy… but Stell, being very friendly and that very nurturing nature of his has allowed Ken to open up and be more candid with his feelings. And not to mention, our Pablo being extremely supportive and encouraging Ken to trust his voice and use it to his advantage. Josh was the reason Ken made it to the Team. Josh made sure Ken was in it! He recruited him if you guys remember. And Justin is just plain supportive of everybody. These guys are brothers. They’re not just a team. They’re family. I love them so much! 💙💙💙💙💙
